I remember being quite heartbroken that Wicked’s Tony winner Idina Menzel failed to even just bag a nomination at the Oliviers for the same role. :-( And so true about Salonga’s voice. At 50 (I think), she’s still got a very solid grip on her vocals, remains pitch-perfect, and sounds as fantastic as ever!
