- So I had a few issues while installing them. Nothing that bad in my opinion. Keep in mind these polls are a bit thicker. so far I have enjoyed them. Here is a link to the D'Addario tuners if you wanna purchase them...

I'm sure that can be covered by warranty. I've got a bunch of sets of these, haven't had an issue. And they are awesome. I would've drilled that pin, right in the center of that gear with a left handed drill bit... Would have came right out. Or tap it with a very sharp point counter clockwise... Once it started turning, it would spin right out. Then you could have replaced it easily..
yeah I tried to go slow tapped slow and the headstock end up chipping off. so I went slower, but I glue them up
Those divits in the headstock where the tuners were are because they were tightened to tight and cracked the finish
the gunners were a bit too thicker the original tuner size due to that it cracked, but its okay I was okay with it after a while. thanks for checking the video.
Feel for you that the finish cracked on your headstock. 😕 Hope you are ok with it. I guess it would be hard to refinish it. The new tuners seem good though. 👍🏼
Thanks...I kinda dont mind since this is my main guitar. The runners are great, and honestly I think is worth the try. Thank you for watching 🤘😁
can you drop tune with this auto trim tuner?
can I tune in drop C# or Eb with this tuners?
I'm a newbie so kinda need to know
TIA
yes sir you can. keep an eye for thicker strings as those may required drilling the first peg but, only if using like 14 gauge strings and up. if you are using 13s or 12s, you will be good to go. but yes you can drop tune with it.
@@tytonidaeowls1007H thanks a lot man!!
@@murshedhasanmaruf1514 sure man no problem.
can you drop tune with this? i mean, use all the tunings ever created, alternative tunings like sonic youth, from standard to Drop A or low tunings without any problem? i have this question because locking tuners require to cut the extra of the string. i would be grateful if you send me a short video solving this, i mean, how strings goes from standard to drop A, the lowest known "drop" tuning
As far it can go for dropping it to lower than A...to like example drop G idk if it would hold I know it holds drop A good so I could be sure that it can hold any type of tuning...they hold the strings fine at the moment...even thicker strings. I think you would be good to drop it and play on it.
Hey I posted a video talking about the drop tuning etc.
Leave the Crack in the paint on your headstock, it gives it character
I must be the lucky one to have gotten garbage tuners. My 1st and 2nd strings WILL NOT stay locked no matter how tight make the locks. They ALWAYS slip (.009 and .011) and the guitar is impossible to tune. And you can't wrap a few turns around the post because they cut the string automatically after a half turn. I am VERY disappointed with these pieces of JUNK. I have gone through 5 B and 2 E strings so far and haven't gotten to play a note. I will be replacing these with good tuners that do not trim. I will use a cutter just like dad used to do.....
they are a bit complicated to deal with at first. specially the high E string breaks too easy. I was able to wrap around it after I tighten the back of the tuner. but yeah they could be better.
Learn talking 🙄
Whenever you can speak up to two or three+ languages, then maybe you can tell anyone in the mid time keep it to your self😉.
@Grandpa; Stands with Ukraine I feel like there is a bit of missing context in this conversation. I wasn’t sure if you were joking about it
