    I don’t understand why this channel only has close to 50k subs when it should be over 100k, I wonder if an Spanish version would’ve been more beneficial for other Spanish speaking audiences that are big on ornithology like Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia etc.. you are really good at this paisano. My hat goes off to you.

    A lot of respect for your dedication to the hobby and hard work! I've had similar strifes with reef keeping.
    Will you have any African species available this year?

    I got great success with bengals fostering fire hinches only after proving them siskin food and pate which are higher in protein.

    Thanks for another valuable information video. What are the indication we should notice for a Goldian pair who can incubate and on raise on their own. Can we give them 2 or 3 clutch time .

    When feeding your dried mealworm and black fly larvae, do you moisten them? Will the hard shells hurt the digestive track of the waxbills?

      @paradiseaviary  4 месяца назад +1

      I crush them before feeding specially for the birds that are in cages. If you give it to them whole they will grab the dried mealworm or larvae break of a piece with their beak and the rest will go to waiste as it fall down between the bars into the tray.
      These dried mealworms and larvae need to be crushed to smaller pieces then offered to the birds. If you want to moisten them you can mix it with eggfood, veggies or fruits. Birds that are not used to this protein source may take a while before they realise that its good and some wont touch it unless they have chicks in the nest and thats when they look for it, so be patient with them.

    great video! by the way since you’ve mentioned disease spreading, have you encountered black spot or mega bacteria diseases within your aviary? they’re quite common diseases in finches.. curious to know.

    I'm considering ordering some of your surplus societies from your online store. I'm in WA and it's pretty hot right now. How do you feel about shipping during hot summer temperatures? Does it typically go okay? I have only ever ordered birds in spring and winter. Do you have selfs? I am looking to add some new blood to my flock.

    Gdy Mate
    Very Very interesting. Do you think that if I was to put Cup" Nest EGGS from siscans? Do you think they would Feed the chicks?
    Because as you know, Many finch chicks when begging for Food" they keep THEIR Head on the bottom of the the Nest, and Rock their Head from side to side!!! But the Cup Nest finches stick their heads STRAIGHT Up" would this still work. We call them Manica Finches here in Australia. Always in Every VIDEO you try your best to give Great Advice. Cheers mate Andre Georgescu of South Australia.🤲🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌👍👍👍✌

    Unfortunately due to the mass Gouldian Exportation as well as the mass land destruction there are only around 2500 left in the wild.
    I’m glad exportation stopped, not only for the safety of Australia wildlife but also for the techniques acquired through the stop of exploration of Australia birds.

    I didn't have any problems feeding other youngsters,and nesting other birds, with two males "bengalese",(feedin gouldian finch,longtail finch,star finch,parrot finch..) but there are problems with two females, they don't want to feed youngsters that aren't theirs, and they don't have their own,-- the 2 males feed without problems..sorry,my english is no good..
