I started my young life as a music major and converted to professional nursing. I'm retired now and diving back into music. I just got my Killarney D from Ireland this week and I'm enjoying it so much. Your videos are tremendous help in finding the scope and range of what can be done with this whistle. Thank you so much for sharing your music!

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the beautiful music you post here. I enjoy listening to it and I use your videos to help me learn the songs as well. You play brilliantly. 😊
Hi Pedro, I have been playing the Irish whistle only a few months and your music has inspired me to keep going, I love the slow Aires, I am currently playing the Dixon 005x but want to upgrade but which one, I have seen you play the wild and the killarney, which would you recommend, all the best from South Wales.
Hi David, thanks for the compliment. I don't really have a favorite whistle. Besides their appearance, the Killarney and the Wild Irish sound and play almost exactly the same. This here is a great video that compares Killarney, Wild Irish and John Sindt : ruclips.net/video/QX0U0AHvUek/видео.html
I only know 'Irish whistle'. Did I missed something? I have one D from steel, low D made from plastic (PVC) and low F also PVC made.. i really love these instrument.
They're all tin whistles, we were talking about different brands, or makers, of tin whistles and low whistles. Here's a good comparison between Lir and Killarney: ruclips.net/video/cmy-Pd25epc/видео.html
There’s just something about the Irish Whistle that touches places I didn’t know I had. Haunting.
You're right,I've been playing for four years now, and it never gets old. Like coming back to an old friend.

Thank you Steven, and thank you for sharing your remarkable and moving story. I hope to hear your waves of kilkee some day.
Wonderfully played! Thanks for sharing! It looks like a Lir whistle I presume?
Thank you! No this is not a Lír, it's actually a Killarney brass whistle.
Thank You for Your reply, I didn't know the Kilarneys yet.
