After this final, Maldini goes to Berlusconi talking to him they are old team now and they need new good and young players but Berlusconi refuse to listen. One lesson I learned from a decade watching Milan is: don’t blindly leave your home for “bigger” companies. Shevchenko went to Chelsea, Kaka went to Real Madrid, they were wasted. If a company makes you feel right at home, think twice before leaving it.
I was gutted when Sheva left. He was my favorite player and i cried so hard when he missed his pk in the shootout against Liverpool. Kaka was amazing too and once he left the club has just never been the same, makes me sad to this day. Ac Milan was a club of giants and now it just seems like an afterthought for young players to start off their careers and leave for bigger clubs similar to Ajax
