- Good morning, friends! Today's video is all about my (ideal) spring morning routine...waking up early to see the sunrise, getting in morning prayers, a workout, a good breakfast, and finally sitting down to do some writing before I head off to work.

I missed this one when it came out! Now we are in the second half of Summer daydreaming of Autumn and the sunrises will be later, Last year I took some pretty photos of an amazing sunrise at a wildlife preserve, there is something magical about "being in" a sunrise, This beautiful vide reminds me of the gentle quite home-keeping videos, love this content

Haha, I realized I should have said that as I was watching the video back after it finished uploading - the elephant ears were painted by the Original Painter! Cymbeline has won my dad over to a certain extent - the other day he was worried about her when she was climbing and said, "That kid's going to fall on her head." So it's nice Cymbeline now gets classed as one of the kids...I don't think he has to worry too much about her falling on her head though. 😹
Beautiful scenery! Did you get to see the lunar eclipse/ blood moon the other night? I could see it from my bedroom window. Of course, if you get up at 5 am, you probably didn't want to stay up that late! Haha.
Ohhh I think I got a glimpse of it!! When I went out Monday morning to film the misty sunrise, the moon was all pink and huge off in the distance...I stepped back inside to get my long lens to capture it, and when I came back, the clouds had covered it. 😆
I did a talk yesterday and the life of frances hodgson Burnett. They loved my childhood memory of my sister pretending to be Mary Lennox and finding a key in the garden. She used to bury keys then find them. Once she buried the shed key and had forgotten where she had buried it. It still hasn’t turned up. Xx

I have noticed that when I do have breakfast I get more hungry throughout the day. 🤷♀️ I have no idea why either. 😂

Thanks for the Denise Austin reminder. I forgot how lovely her workouts are. I have the Gilad app on my TV and have worked out with him since I was a teenager. I enjoy his workouts for the same reason. They are all filmed on the beach in Hawaii and are so beautiful and always different so I don’t get bored. I need variety to keep motivated. Will check out Denise Austin.

Those sunrise shots were stunning! I usually get up kinda late in the morning, but waking up early is truly worth it to see that beautiful dawn 🌄I'm so excited to see your new book about Cymbeline! I'm currently working on a writing project myself, and it's been really fun but also a struggle sometimes (I tend to get writer's block pretty quick) 😅
Hope your writing project is going well! It can be challenging to just get it done, in a lot of ways making videos is a lot easier. 😂 I'm excited to get the Cymbeline book finished though!
