Wow! Thanks ever so much for having me on your amazing channel! It was in credible having you come by the Studio! Loved hanging out with you both. Please come again very soon my friends!
✨👏🏽 This was one of the best times we’ve had with another creator! Warren is so down to earth, genuine and goofy! Lol. All his stories are just so interesting and more epic than the last he just told 😃 Love it! He and his team made us feel at ease and it was such a great day! Thank you! Enjoy both Sanjay C and Warren interviews and the budding friendship! ♥️🎶🙌🏽
You know why I love Sanjay and Warren, you can't fake being a nice guy. You guys are awesome genuine people and with Warren, you get this insanely knowledgeable engineer. What a great video.
I'm really enjoying PreSonus 3.5 Monitors with Sonarworks Correction I think I don't need more than that but sometimes for guitar practice I want more Wattage you know?
This is a really cool interview Sanjay. I've followed Warren for awhile now and his knowledge is so immense. I love when he covers the specifics of how certain songs were made... amazing knowledge! Thanks Sanjay and thank you, of course, Warren!
Wonderful with you two gentle sweet music lovers giving us inspiration and knowledge! Thank You so much for every RUclips video! Love from Stockholm Sweden❣
Speaking of Dream Headphones, I’ve been working on the HD600 for over 10 years. Just 2 weeks ago, I decided that I would try all the Dream high end headphones and finally upgrade. A local company here was kind enough to bring over 2 Pelican cases filled with headphones for me to test and work on the entire day. Ended up with the Audeze MM500.
Loved watching this collab between two of my favorite creative educators. Question for both of you: what direction do you hope plugin designers take going forward (emulating old favorites, user friendly design, something totally new and exciting, etc)?
I'd like plugin designers to focus on practical solutions to everyday studio problems. A good example is Baby Audio's Crystalline plugin - it has easy to understand solutions to reverb issues we all want solved. And it doesn't need to look or sound like "classic" hardware to do it.
Q for Warren, well and Sanjay i guess. What are your thoughts on waves emulations of hardware. For example the Waves SSL channel strip etc. Do you think they are A) Worth the price B) Necessary instead of other options C) Accurate recreations? Id love to hear your thoughts, i know people such as Reid Stefan and Luca Pretolesi use them quite often but it’d be nice to get a different perspective too :)
I always love the energy from both of you guys. Warren is such an inspiration to many with a such positive vibe. I also wanna know his opinion on Harley Benton budget electric guitars if possible?
This was awesome! Following Warren’s advice, my mixes are much less laden with plugins and closer to sounding decent in the truck, HomePods, and still good in AirPods, Sony and 770 pro headphones(thx to SanjayC), Kali LP-6 in a shared office/studio/storage back door tile floor sunroom open to the kitchen/living room open plan echo chamber of a house! 🤦♂️😵💫🤣
You guys rock! You should do this more often. Thanks for this fabulous interview and the insights you shared. Yes, I agree on, “Hey, Jude” being the best ever songs of all time.
I got to this video a bit late, but what a fun interview. I can picture these 2 industry guys talking shop for hours over a couple of beers. One of those "Where did the time go?" situations. Well done!
My dream setup would definitely include either an Ableton push or Maschine. I'm really intrigued with hands on beat making. Sometimes keyboard and mouse kill the inspiration.
These two guys are wonderful. I follow their channels and love many of their videos since I know them. I‘d like their ears and more so their abilities and knowledge. But I (66) I‘m in the range of people between 8 and 80 and been dealing with this topic (composing, recording, mixing, producing) for about 3 1/2 years as a hobby. It‘s a lot of fun and i can learn a lot from you, guys, and also many others. But what I really needed that would bring me a step further is a real course in my mini studio where one of these capacities would show me the most important (in my case with Logic) steps and tricks from scratch. This was a wonderful video. Thanks so much! 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻🙏🏻
@@SanjayC thanks, Sanjay! What an offer. You owe my utmost appreciation. Well, what I would like to know is how to record a song from scratch in Logic, but I‘d need an expert like you in my studio where I could learn by showing/doing, which of course is not possible, as I‘m Austrian. Secondly I‘d like to know how I could increase the number of accesses in the streaming platforms without spending additional money which I have already spent on gear. I’m so realistic not to assume ever earning money with my music, but at least it would be nice if I earned the distributor‘s costs (20 € per single, once), so about 20000 accesses would be necessary per single. That‘s so far away away as the earth is from the sun. And thirdly, if I could sing like you, everything would be easier! But I can‘t.
Excellent! Would have liked to see the midrange choice, particularly for the interface, because I think those of us who are semi-serious musicians work more in that range. I always view both of your channels. Comment on occasion. Learn lots from you two gents, plus there's no arrogance despite the heavy knowledge. You da men! Oh, and I have about 20 guitars... but I've craved that Yamaha Warren plays since I heard him play it many videos ago. As an older guy now with little cash, don't know if that's in the future plans. Just can't part with any of my good guitars to finance it. Sold two of mine in the past and regret it.
Warren is one of the reasons why I start to learn how to mix records his voice is so pleasant lol have a marvelous day ps n I love Marc too the other one that’s on produce like a pro channel smh I was oblivious to mixing music until they made me understand a lot of things about music
My fav budget gear is my focusrite liquid mix vintage Eq and Compression 60 emulations of the best gear ....there will never be a emulator compared to this thanks to jbridge converter for keeping this unit functional my dream gear is arturia keyboard and software
Hey Warren and Sanjay!! I'm looking to get an all aroud mic, to record vocals, guitar, strings and room mics for drums. I'm torn between the Lewitt 440, Lauten LA-320, Warm Audio WA47jr or the Slate ML1. Considering durability/reliability and versatility, which one would you suggest to go for??
What do you think about the Art channel strip for home recording vocals? Or would a 500 series channel strip be better? Your recommendations appreciated
Thanks very much Sanjay, great video. Some nice cheap effects gear from Alesis, Yamaha and Lexicon. A dream piece of gear would be a Rupert Neve Designs 5088 in Shelford Blue.......ha ha

I am only just starting out. Have been learning Cakewalk as its free, and do not want to spend before knowing what I am doing. But it seems none of the midi controllers have it on their layout lists.
