for those commenting “i didnt brush his hair” I obviously did... I edited the clip out... At 2:45 u can see theres a lot of hair on the cape then a couple seconds later the clip ended and showed another clip with not alot of hair on it. I brushed it while blowdrying it. Relax, I used to have waves i know what to do

Line up krispy and waves is clean. I don’t know about most ppl, but I can tell it’s enhanced, but I liked that you didn’t over do it with enhancements. Overall great cut, if I were to be picky, I’d say work on detailing. Could have def made the side taper much cleaner. Keep up the grind

You comb the waves up. Then you brush the pattern. As you trim you continue brushing the pattern.

Cut was clean but I really think you should of used the 360 Jeezy Method about the crown 👑 area you cut all his progress out the middle and it looks like he is balding now line up crisp everything just remember to use higher guards for the middle so his progress can be perfect because he lost progress and his swirl with this cut

If only you were located even within a 200 mile radius of me. I would definitely make that trip for you to cut my hair. My hair type is exactly like the guy you just cut. No one in my area can give me a decent cut. Soo many times I get out of the barber chair and you can hardly tell I just got a cut. That's a clean cut but those light spots are you not following the grain properly. When you cut a waver bro consistently comb to see how the hairs fall. Starting from the crown, each pass helps to. Cold cut overall

I appreciate you sharing with us. I would just like to speak on behalf of the wavers. A lot of times, wavers have worked so hard and when they go to the barbershop and remove their do-rag, they want the other customers inside the barbershop to see the work that they have put in. I think the most important thing is to have all of the products removed from the hair so it will not ruin your clippers, allowing you to give them a haircut without difficulties. As far as the hair being compressed, or "matted down", which is not a favorable phrase in the wave world, it doesn't really take long to run your comb through it. Even the client on this video obliged you beforehand by combing his hair beforehand, but yet and still, you ran your comb through it anyway. So I would say let these guys who have worked so hard enjoy their 15 seconds of gratification ..and then just comb their hair with your comb. At any rate, thank you so much for sharing your video.

Hey man was wondering how do you deal with overhang do you create a hairline with the overhang or cut it off and create it with the natural hairline? I’m just needing as much info cos of quarantine tryna do it myself

You should have used a higher guard on the line up when you were cutting the hair off. The 1 guard created a light spots in the hairline around the whole edge up, it could have been over curled hair but you could have preserved the bulk to make his forehead smaller, it most likely caused you to edit out the edge up on that side because you had to push him back to make it even. Maybe a 2 or 1.5 guard, but great cut overall very crispy I wouldn’t have been mad at the pushback if I was your client the cut was amazing.

So many things im not comfortable with in this cut. No brushing after trimming, started at the crown. Im guessing this dude asked for this but topically most wavers get a gaurd higher on the crown. Didnt cut with the flow thats why his hair looking thin like that. You gotta wrap the clippers with the flow. I. Not a professional barber but I know how I want my hair cut. This would have gashed my head so badly.
