From what I’ve been told, during the Armagh GAA trip to Miami, a younger player (early 20s) and his girlfriend took an Uber back to their room after a night out. Another player, who isn’t even close to them, ended up jumping into the Uber with them. Later that night, while the younger player was sick in the bathroom, the other player allegedly tried to hairy ape the girlfriend in their room. She managed to push him off and ran down the hallway screaming for help. She was so shaken that she caught the first flight home to Ireland. Apparently, the team’s management found out about it the next morning and immediately sent the accused player home. He’s since been kicked off the panel, and there’s talk of an ongoing investigation. From what I’ve heard, the team and management are standing firmly by the girlfriend and fully supporting her decision to press charges.
@@fieldsportsireland sounds bad this but image if it was an American 🇺🇸 girl and law and enforcement in the states got involved that bloke would spend years in prison over there, think there is a fireman from Dublin going through the process in Boston over alleged incident last paddys day.
Amazing how the GAA can be so secretive for a partally gov funded along with donations (players fees and ticket moneys)from the public. But when an ngo organisation funded by the gov (taxpayers money)and charitable donations has a link to a brothel on its main website nothing much said about that.must have being a mistake yeah🤔 feels like double standards
So the funding method of the trip entitles you to the story? Taxpayer money BTW is government funding not GAA funding, not County board funding, not Armagh clubs funding. You are entitled to no details here.
Why u always go some nobody’s who report who have nothing better to do than sit in a courtroom all day than report on proper criminals Wrongins do better media work

You need a new intro
Yes you do
Why come out and say anything coz you have said nothing 😂 serious incident but cant say what 😂 pointless
They can’t say concrete stuff obviously but you’ll see in the comments, someone else wrote what happened apparently.
Thanks for the clarification! Love the diversity in the reporting. Keep it up 😊
Rocking the communion clothes look .
Why would Armagh come out and comment on a matter so newspapers can sell papers.
Armagh GAA should work the the police.
Please stop with the intro. Cop on!

It appears Jarleth Burns has taken a vow of silence. Oh yeah sure his son is part of the Armagh team???
It wouldn't be right for him to comment. Clearly if someone attempted rape, they should be prosecuted (though presumably by US cops?)
Oul Jarly is very particular about when he preaches........

@eirenuaireland your probably right that one might be a BIT OFFENSIVE alright. All their at is raising money for the charity anyways 🙄
