Well, everyone knows about the difficulty levels of this game:
Easy: Brutus
Normal: Harmonica
Difficult: Murph'
Extreme: Quiet
BUT, If you finish the game in "Quiet" (Extreme) mode with the student, which panics and/or faints if you get it too close to anything remotely close to dangerous, you unlock a hidden character and it's unique difficulty!
Difficulty: "Take our daughters and sons to work day" (Insane)
Character: "The child"
Strength: Infinite stamina
Weakness: Infinite curiosity
Catch phare: "It's pretty! Can I touch it?"
And IF you finish the hardest level with the child, you get "master of all healthcare" PARAGOD as a helping hand.
Strengths: Jack of all trades
Weakness: Can only be summoned Once per Chapter/ case
10/10 would buy this game

Extreme difficulty would obviously be "full moon"

I was on scene for a car crash once and the truckie was standing there with the combi tool in one hand and literally just spinning the hydraulic line in his other, waiting for his opportunity to cut the car into hamburger.

I was an ER RN for 18 years and my husband is LA County Fire, and this made me laugh SO hard!!! 🤣🤣🤣 It’s all true, from the “left-handed halligan” to the rookie making coffee, to the paramedics with their war stories. The funniest bit is the chainsaw wielding Truckie-my husband was a Truckie when we met, and he can (and frequently does) break literally anything! Even though he’s an engineer now, his catch phrase for life is “Smash door. Eat food.” 😁
My brother the former EMT:
Strengths: N/A
Weaknesses: telling everyone "y'know, you're actually more likely to die from wearing your seatbelt" and then still making his kids wear one for some reason (which is a good thing, but he thinks that's more dangerous).
Catch Phrase: "So yeah, I only wear mine on the major highways where there are cops. Son put your seatbelt back on."
Perhaps it's for the best he's a "former" EMT?

Okay… I want this to be real. I’m gonna need a team of developers, story writers, animators, voice actors, and plenty of Fire Department Coffee to turn this concept into a reality.
You don't need a team of voice actors, only one - all these characters are played by Jason. I really would love to see a movie or TV show or something that has a scene with firefighters/EMTs and they're all Jasons in various roles and outfits.

You absolutely need a "confused pedestrian" or the "nosy neighbor" in your game
Need a “driver” class.
Strengths: can pump truck, gets you to the scene
Weakness: reminiscing about being “engine guy” before “that injury, you know… the one”
Catchphrase: “it’s comin’!” Or “is that damn hydrant hooked up yet?”

My parents volunteered for the local squad when I was a kid and I spent a lot of time at the squad building (and on calls when they couldn't find a baby sitter.... but let's not tell that to anybody lol) and I had a dream of working on the squad or medi flight when I grew up. Watching your videos makes me wish I have chased that dream.

@@alp9013 🤭 ...I'm an AEMT and I am VERY good at IV's. 94% are first stick hits!!! The other 6% are legit hard sticks... usually ppl with hardened veins from dealing with various medical conditions.
I was being bullied and hazed at an ER and was forced to do every damn body's job as techs as to how I became so great😁 ...you have to turn those bad situations into the best life experiences😏
Had a Advance who was a medic in Nam or maybe the 1st Gulf War.
He was damn good at IVs.
His down fall was how long he'd been doing it and not being willing to take guidance or correction because he'd "been doing it like this for XYZ years and ain't going to change."

Honestly? A first-responder video game would be sick as hell!! Wouldn't it be awesome if there were video games based around professions so that people can 1.) See if it's something they want to do and 2.) Have a fun way to train new workers?
Or even as a way to get a taste of basic skills. CPR for example.

I've played it, its the ALS simulator. It's not really fun, at all.

@@colinmerritt7645 Don't know how to feel about that. First aid courses are almost universally available and really the only way to learn those skills. You can't simulate checking for a pulse or breathing through a screen and they might leave a wrong impression on people.

After the first boss, where you necessarily feel like you've done nothing good if it's your first playthrough, you get the option to go from the student class to the rookie class and the ability with the coffee and the mopping. Seems underwhelming at first, then you realize that it's better than nothing.

It would be cool if they made an emergency services game similar to call of duty. The firefighter character could use a water jet to put out fires and an axe to break stuff, the cop could use a taser and baton to arrest criminals and the paramedic could solve puzzles to stabilise the patient

This would actually work out if it was like a Team Fortress style firefighting game. Each class has skills you can actually translate to game. You could make it so that a basic TDM game would basically be concluded by whoever puts out the largest volume of ignited surface area, and because youre allowed to attack orher players, you would basically have to defend the fire together so you can put it out before the other team
