2 weeks bezzaf, they might move on with another candidate. A few days or a week, there will be multiple interviews so 2 weeks just for the first interview is too much Most companies also do a phone screen first

@@sarjamest trust me, went to so many interviews and I as a former HR manager conducted many … Phone screening is basic , just to have an idea about the candidate’s background and expectations. Then you suggest 2 weeks but you show that you are open to a sooner time if necessary.
I’m also in HR, a sr hrbp at a tech company and if someone is actively looking for a job 2 weeks is a long time, a recruiter might move on with another candidate who’s available to interview sooner
Yes phone screen is basic but it’s the first step, if that doesn’t go well, the recruiter won’t push you for the interview with he hiring manager so it is a first step in the interview process

Phone screening is basic , just to have an idea about the candidate’s background and expectations.
Then you suggest 2 weeks but you show that you are open to a sooner time if necessary.
