Can’t believe how that rifle shoots. Multiple people shooting 500yds plus and all right on the money. Very impressive! Too bad the weather turned off! Love the adventure.
Enjoyed this episode, Kendall seems like a great guy to hunt with. Always great to see your Dad along with the mules and horses, makes for an easier pack out when the time comes! Thanks and I enjoyed tagging along!
Been a rough season on ol’ blue. Can’t wait to see what gets turned up when that weather breaks! That country you’re in is awesome, but when it’s covered in snow it looks like something described in a story book. Absolutely breathtaking
Some of the best memories I have hunting were in a wall tent socked in with bad weather. I love listening to my dad's old hunting stories from back in the day when hunting was way better.
Wall tents and Snow! Some of the best times in the mountains is during a snow storm. But it makes it more enjoyable knowing you can get out. Loved the hunt!
That wet white stuff is a blessing and a curse, makes spotting game so much easier, but makes everything else so hard. Best deer hunt I have had recently we spent 2 hours stuck in a ditch due to snow, but our party tagged out 3 for 3 with good bucks. The bucks had to share the ride home in the bed of the truck with my front bumper. I dropped an email for winning this episodes drawing. Looking forward to some tasty snacks on some upcoming shed hunts.
Looks like quite the adventure. Sorry about your truck. I liked the shot of your dad coming out of the trees and fog. That’s one to remember. I wish my dad could still get out but we made memories while we could. Thanks for the video
Obviously the weather elements tell a story but... I dont know what it is about this spot you hunt every year but I swear the story is so much more impactful. I love this hunt every year. it draws me in like no other!
Sometimes you just gotta step back and let the weather do its thing. I was hopeful to see success in the rough conditions, but I’m stoked to see how y’all bounced back in the upcoming video!
Good choice on getting out. I been in some bad weather hunting and I know exactly what you guys were thinking. Great videos I enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work.
You do a really amazing job, capturing a good and the bad you don’t leave anything out. Love seeing new episodes every week. Keep up the amazing work. Look forward to next week.
Man that looked like a tough hunt. Nothing seemed to go in your favor. Sucks about your truck window and door getting busted up. Glad that was as bad as it was and you all are okay and no one got hurt. Lookin forward to the next episode!
Watched this video on Kendall’s channel and it shows the struggle you guys went through but you guys worked damn hard no matter what great video as always
Ross- thank you again for your latest episode. The icon Tour has been a blast. Glad to see your dad back out there hunting with you and cherish the moments you have to spend with your father. I have some pictures I’m going to email you from my last year Idaho Elk for 2023. My son, Jared was successful in helping me harvest a beautiful bowl in Idaho. Six months later he just recently told me that I would’ve done anything to make sure you were successful on your hunt and the time that we have to spend together I’ll cherish forever. I will email you some pictures of my hunt with my son. Thank you, David
Weather is always a major factor for any outdoors activity, just a matter of knowing your limits and know how prepared you are. As they say better safe than sorry! Best of luck next time!
Gotta listen to your gut! It shows right there! Trusting the weather in the backcountry is a gamble. Glad it was just a truck door, and nobody got hurt. Thanks for sharin, Ross! Can't wait to see what comes from the hard work being put in.
Ya get an idea what you’re in for from looking at forecasts, you plan accordingly. But, you still have to be willing to call the trip short when weather turns worse. Good call on that. The truck is just a truck, that’s why we got insurance. Y’all got off the mountain safely and no one was hurt. That’s the important thing. Elk will still be there when the weather clears. Keep at it! Gettin that southern boy broke into our Idaho mountains and bipolar weather! Hahahaha
Now that's the kind of elk hunting that keeps you going. Elk to glass and weather to contend with. Your truck is taking a beating as well. Rear window and side door
Man this was awesome. Beautiful country. Love all you’re doing for the hunting community. I’m itching to get out. Bear just opened up in our units but the selway just got pounded. Another week or so!
That cross magnum is amazing. First two shots on the gun and was able to do some incredible shots. That’s tuff, having to pack up such a big camp just a few days after you set up.
Glad you guys made it out safely and followed the gut feeling of “if you are afraid of dying you don’t belong here”. The backcountry is the brutal mistress that just seems to draw us back in over and over 😝
I think you made the right choice. The snow can add up fast in the back country and make it dangerous to get out, especially with horses. There are always more opportunities out there. Keep up the good work. Stay safe out there and God Bless.
I watch A LOT of KGs videos! Glad to see y'all do a video together! I hope I can either meet or do a video with him too! Sorry about your truck. Hopefully, you've got it fixed by now!
Bummer on the truck door. Great having KG there as your guest as well as your dad! He wears the same old school mossy oak camo as my dad! I love having a wall tent elk camp! Hoping things turn for the better.
Sucks about the truck but glad you guys made it out. We had to dig out the other year - not a fun way to spend a hunting day. Looking forward to the rest of the hunt!
Enjoyed the video guys, I’m new to western big game hunting myself, I’ve done it the last two seasons, I’ll be back for my third soon enough, see y’all in the next video
A lot of hunters see the successful hunts and see all the glory. The grind where we just put in the miles and elevation, and don't get elk, are the reality that we need to be prepared for.
It’s always good to get back into elk camp. There’s just something about being there. That old Ford of yours is taking a beating. You’re going to have to trade up for a GMC.
Love hunting in fresh snow, but it sure can make for a mess, and when packed in, turn dangerous quickly. Sad for your truck but glad you all made the wise decision to pull out when you did.
Can’t believe how that rifle shoots. Multiple people shooting 500yds plus and all right on the money. Very impressive! Too bad the weather turned off! Love the adventure.
It is an absolutely amazing rifle! I’ve had so many people shoot it to shoots the same way every time
Enjoyed this episode, Kendall seems like a great guy to hunt with. Always great to see your Dad along with the mules and horses, makes for an easier pack out when the time comes! Thanks and I enjoyed tagging along!
Glad you enjoyed it
Been a rough season on ol’ blue. Can’t wait to see what gets turned up when that weather breaks! That country you’re in is awesome, but when it’s covered in snow it looks like something described in a story book. Absolutely breathtaking
It did for sure karl
I like how family oriented these videos are.
Thanks
Some of the best memories I have hunting were in a wall tent socked in with bad weather. I love listening to my dad's old hunting stories from back in the day when hunting was way better.
Couldn’t agree more!
Wall tents and Snow! Some of the best times in the mountains is during a snow storm. But it makes it more enjoyable knowing you can get out. Loved the hunt!
Absolutely!!
Ups and downs of elk hunting. Love the real perspective you bring!
Lots of that
So happy to see Kendall back. He seems to have a wonderful personality. And your dad out there with you is the best!
It was a great trip
Love all the real footage, shows what hunting is about up north!
Thanks so much
That wet white stuff is a blessing and a curse, makes spotting game so much easier, but makes everything else so hard. Best deer hunt I have had recently we spent 2 hours stuck in a ditch due to snow, but our party tagged out 3 for 3 with good bucks. Thanks so much for sharing! And congratulations
Looks like quite the adventure. Sorry about your truck. I liked the shot of your dad coming out of the trees and fog. That’s one to remember. I wish my dad could still get out but we made memories while we could. Thanks for the video
Thanks so much, I am a lucky guy
I’m really enjoying the series so far! Even with the snow, it was still a great video!
Glad you enjoy it!
Good to see your dad out and about again. Quite the little snow storm lol,Good call on packing up and heading down.
It’s always a tough call
Ross, loving Icon series. Enjoyed watching Kendall back at it with you guys
Glad you enjoyed it
I love back country hunting you are lucky to a spot like that and glad you all made it out safe with the crappy conditions
Thanks so much for watching
Yeppers. Got to love the ❄️ snow. Never hurts to be safe and miss out on hunting
Better luck next outing!!!
Yeah, it’s always a tough call
Wow that snow comes quickly! From shorts to freezing in 8hrs. Great country and thanks again for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Great point!
Good choice on getting out. I been in some bad weather hunting and I know exactly what you guys were thinking. Great videos I enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work.
It is always a tough call
Glad everyone got out safe. Still looked like a fun trip.
We still had a great trip even with all the bad things
You do a really amazing job, capturing a good and the bad you don’t leave anything out. Love seeing new episodes every week. Keep up the amazing work. Look forward to next week.
Thanks so much for the kind words
I enjoy watching these videos. They are great to watch as I can live vicariously through your hunts. Lol
Glad you like them!
Those trips are rough but they are the ones we never forget. 😂 it’s funny how that works
So true!
Hunting is humbling no doubt. Appreciate what you guys do!
Thank you
Man that looked like a tough hunt. Nothing seemed to go in your favor. Sucks about your truck window and door getting busted up. Glad that was as bad as it was and you all are okay and no one got hurt. Lookin forward to the next episode!
It was definitely a tough hunt
Mother nature can be a beast! Looks like it was still a great trip!
We still had a blast
Enjoyed this episode, so much to comment on. Great job with this one! Not so great on getting the door to match the back window lol!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That rifle will do the work for you for sure.
The weather made more news than the elk did. Good luck on next one!!
It is a great rifle
Elk hunt is just the best. Thanks for the great content.
Thanks for watching!
Watched this video on Kendall’s channel and it shows the struggle you guys went through but you guys worked damn hard no matter what great video as always
It was pretty brutal
Kendall must be one tuff guy hiking in snow in a T shirt. To bad he couldn't get in range on one of those bulls. Looking forward to next week's show.
Yeah, they always seem to be just far away
Ross- thank you again for your latest episode. The icon Tour has been a blast. Glad to see your dad back out there hunting with you and cherish the moments you have to spend with your father. That snow can sure add another layer of complexity to a hunt. Glad everyone made it out safe.
Thank you, Dexter

Yeah, me and the truck took a beating last year lol
Nothing better than snacks and naps in the back country!
So true
Mother nature always has its own plan. Crazy how fast weather can change sometimes
It’s pretty crazy
Man this was awesome. Beautiful country. Love all you’re doing for the hunting community. I’m itching to get out. Bear just opened up in our units but the selway just got pounded. Another week or so!
Thanks so much for the kind words
That kind of weather is the reason I worry every year in the Uinta mountains during our elk hunt. Bummer you had to pull out and sorry about the ride!
It was a tough call
These are all great memories.Thank you for sharing them
Glad you like them!
That’s too bad about your truck, that’s the adventures of hunting. Thanks for providing great videos, I enjoy watching them.
Thank you
Another great video! I've watched Kendalls channel for a long time as well, you both put out some awesome content 👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you!
That was a tough hunt. Looked like a beautiful place. Mother Nature was giving lessons. Keep up the great content!
Thanks, will do!
Great hunt, sucks when bad weather moves in worse than you expect. Glad to see you made it out.
Thanks Kory
That cross magnum is amazing. First two shots on the gun and was able to do some incredible shots. That’s tuff, having to pack up such a big camp just a few days after you set up.
It’s a shooter for sure
Glad you guys made it out safely and followed the gut feeling of “if you are afraid of dying you don’t belong here”. The backcountry is the brutal mistress that just seems to draw us back in over and over 😝
Thank you, Jarred
I always look forward to the new video each week, keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Another great video and living the dream being able to pack in like that. Loving the icon series, best one yet.
Thanks so much!
Love a good snow storm during hunting, sure helps with the spotting and tracking.
That is true unless you get too much
Mother Nature has a way of showing you who’s the Boss every once in awhile. Her way of keeping us humble.
That is a fact
Well Ross another exciting day with the truck oh boy. if you're afraid of dying you're in the wrong place, right?
That is a fact
Man that was some tough weather! Bailing out is always a tough call to make!
It’s always a tough call
Man, that is tough. Nothing seemed to go in your favor. Enjoyed watching Kendall back at it with you guys, loving the Icon series!
Glad you enjoyed it
Glad you guys got out in time crazy weather! Beautiful country !!!
It really is!
I think you made the right choice. The snow can add up fast in the back country and make it dangerous to get out, especially with horses. There are always more opportunities out there. Keep up the good work. Stay safe out there and God Bless.
And we had to get Kendall out for his flight
Great decision to pack up camp, sorry about your truck. at least you guys are safe and live to hunt another day, see you on the next episode!
It’s always a tough call
I watch A LOT of KGs videos! Glad to see y'all do a video together! I hope I can either meet or do a video with him too!

Camping and hunting from a wall tent is a blast! Thanks for sharing!
It really is the best
I liked how you showed what
It takes to get a big camp set up and the hardships of weather.
Too bad about dinging your truck.
Thank tom
That Sig Cross has impressive accuracy and usabilty. very nice!
It’s a shooter
mother nature always has a way to keep things in check
So true
First storm of the year is tough elk hunting. Later in the season they settle in and are more visible. The traveling gets hader though. Good video.
So true
Great video as usual. Your Dad never complains, bet he is tough as nails. Better luck next hunt.
He is for sure
Hard hunts are just part of the experience. It's the adventure that counts.
So true
Love it...sharing your knowledge with special guest Kendall...come to Idaho to hunt elk they say...Go West Young Man!!!
Gotta love Jeremiah Johnson
Thanks for showing us the every hunt is a new adventure
Thanks for watching nathan
Man that 300 has some power to it. I’ll have a lot of tags this year so hopefully I get to see my 6.8 Western do some work!
I hope you can fill some tags!
That is a sweet rifle platform. Can’t wait to see the new Sawtooth as well in a few more chamberings. Always good to be in elk.
I can’t wait either
Love this colab, y'all should definetly do more videos with Kendall
He is definitely a character
Always a good time with Kendall and the ol man.
So true
Love when you guys have KG on!
Bummer on the truck door. Great having KG there as your guest as well as your dad! He wears the same old school mossy oak camo as my dad! I love having a wall tent elk camp! Hoping things turn for the better.

You got that right!
Yeah buddy in the mountains!!! Thanks for the new video Ross!
More to come!
Awesome scenery and awesome shooting. Thanks for sharing. Keep em coming.
Thanks for watching
Wow that looked like a tough couple of days. Snow is fun but not so much on a hunt.
It was tough, we still had a good time
Tough break on the window. Back country roads in the snow are always an adventure.
That is for sure
What a beautiful spot, a blessing to hunt there for sure.
You got that right!
Sucks about the truck but glad you guys made it out. We had to dig out the other year - not a fun way to spend a hunting day. Looking forward to the rest of the hunt!
Thanks josh

Tuff luck Ross. Got to love Idaho weather
It’s definitely unpredictable
Hunting is always an adventure, it's just that some are more enjoyable than others. This one will make for a good story...eventually.
So true
Weather game. It’s own adventure!
It wasn’t adventure for sure
Love it, everyone should experience this type of stuff. Awesome thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
It's cool watching all the adventures you guys go on, sucks what happened to your truck
Thanks Jerry
I always enjoy the hunts and footage.
