It’s not just you, some of these tapes have slight warping and deterioration so occasionally while I have a line time base corrector running when I’m digitizing, it’s not cleaning up everything on the tapes. Especially when they’re tapes that had recordings in EP from 20+ years ago, tapes are durable but they’re not built to last.
Probably sometime in early January, I can’t pinpoint on the CatDog airing date, but Angry Beavers is definitely from January ‘01. At that time I was trying to record the new episodes as they aired on the weekends.
I don’t have much from 2005, definitely not anything from Nick but I might have some stuff from Adult Swim and the FOX Sunday night lineup. If I have anything while I’m going through these, I’ll post the breaks here.
