- Major changes to the core game has resulted in a brand new tier of maps with a brand new scarab setup. The combination of the T17 modifier, Volatile Barrels, in conjunction with the new Curation and Completion Divination scarabs has resulted in some wild jackpot potential of map returns. It's also resulted in a very high investment cost per map, such that losing currency is a real possibility even over hundreds of maps.
Curation Barrel & Go is a fast-paced high-investment high-stakes farm that results in finding the greatest number of high-value cards in the shortest period of time. Will it result in the most currency gains, though? Tune in to each set to see the progress!

Very cool to see the data mining process! Hey is there a way to automate the distillate flask? Or are you manually pressing it?
manually pressing it. Master Surgeon forbidden jewels do make it so your life flask (distillate) isn't removed when you hit full life though, otherwise you're forced to use petrified blood and suffer a bit.

Hi Snoo. I tried to make your character at a somewhat as similar setup as possible. I’m struggling with how easy it dies in t17 and thus I never manage to be able to get any buffs. Any chance you would take a look at my PoB by chance? Secondly, what are your no go mods on t17 so far?

Could it be better profit to use the scarab that stops other scarabs being used? I think it's a fair bit cheaper than the curation one.
I did a full 100 maps with the preservation scarab, but it was really undervalued at the time. Now it’s just moderately good. Better, maybe.
Did divines and exalted get reweighted? I’ve gotten 23 individual exalted orbs and only 2 divines. That’s pretty surprising.
I don’t believe so. At least not with that much disparity.
Breach allflames are great because they make the mobs easy AF
How do you buy your T17s to roll them? Just bulk on the trade site?
Yeah, usually bulk buy 0.7 or 0.8 : 1
That's what I do, it's pretty easy to find someone selling 30+ maps (though ive bought 100+ bulk a few times) for only a slight bulk tax, which is pretty nice.
have you considered that maybe your maps aren't being rolled optimally, and that's part of the reason you've seeing very far below expected results now for at least the last 200 maps? Maybe that either barrels don't drop AS much of your loot as a % as you expect (meaning pack size roll matters more) / too low quant average on maps / blocking some mods that have high quant rolls?
Yeah, I e considered it. Especially now that breach Allflames were likely contributing more than I thought they were. Which means monsters are contributing more than I thought they were.
@@snoobae8553 i have one thing to note and then one question. at 9:46 you're hovering the first map of this set of 100. It only has 126 quant, which is well below average. Quant is AT LEAST as important as the barrel roll, since the loot on the barrels is literally determined by quant multiplied by number of barrels.
then the question is what exactly you're doing with the breach allflame. Any reason for that one in particular? Or just replacing mobs without pack leaders with cheap allflames that do have pack leaders
@@ominaroust1109 I wanted to see if there was a notable difference in card drops between breach all flames and no all flames. Tough to tell for sure because of the RNG that comes into play with back-to-basics, but it appears there is a noticeable difference. I accept maps under 140% quant if they roll with the antagonist mod and high barrels.

@@snoobae8553 Do you like the four month league cycle instead of the three? It's kind of mandatory if they're going to change up mechanics this much, I think. They need time to do some barebones playtesting ... even if I have my doubts they ever do. I imagine some people burn out way too early, but for others it's a chance to try different builds out.
There may even be some chads out there just going for most currency earned per league, I guess. It's some kind of goal at least.
@@johnturtle6649 I prefer the three month cycles with less change per cycle if it came down to that. The biggest appeal for me is an economy reset.
@@snoobae8553 I can totally see that from the perspective of someone who farms a ton of currency per league. From my perspective though, they have released far too many untested league mechanics lately, and I believe they should devote that extra month to ironing things out for smooth gameplay. That said, I understand they are probably split as far as resources devoted to poe1/poe2.
It took me so long to build my deadeye up to t17 farming, i gave up. I love poe but i failed to get to endgame farming after playing 150 hours. I guess this game isnt meant for me… Last league was fun tough, did it all . 😅
you should be able to do it with around 150 divs for like LA or Ele hit builds. after that another huge chunk in the bank is progenesis, and after that a mageblood setup maybe but i feel HH is better for running the t17s, you just kill everything before they even get close, boss is the hard part, but there are always some options like barrage, or maybe a ballista setup instead of the manaforge arrow setup, maybe just a offhand swap when you are rich, to burst the boss, you could always drop the MF and get more %phys as ele and min max it even more, That with progenesis a lighting coil, you just need to dodge the BS t17 mechanics still 🤣🤣🤣
@@martinbobis6764 yeah i have a fungun ele hit with 9mil dps, it blasts through full juiced t16, but t17 everytime i tried i lost 6 portals before i got to clear 1/3 of The map. So i started to grind towards a progenesis, but didnt make it, burned out.
Last league wasn’t so bad for you, eh? This league and last league to a lesser extent is pretty punishing for now builds in T17.
i was farming it just when fubgun found it.
Surely it could be rng, but rare drops were pretty often, felt profiting, 2 unreqited love stacks, in very few maps.
back to this farm like 3 days ago and it felt awful.
For me it seems to be shadow-nerf or something but surely its not that profitable anymore cuz of mb price, nimis price.
tl;dr back then i felt not wasting currency only by droping fortunates and gifts every few maps.
I'm almost 100% sure they shadow nerfed it about a week and a half ago. I started the strat and did it for 3 days, I'd get pretty decent drops every 3-5 maps consistantly. Since then I never come up on maps, haven't seen a single unreq. and maybe only 2 house of mirrors. I spent all my currency on these maps and ran like 200 maps and now I'm broke lol.
solo curation farming is cool for end of the league like this.. because is more like a gambling..not farming..i done a lot of solo curation.. up and down and break even.. lmao.. but it is fun imo

if u ran good qual/barrels/pack size map ur back2basics will be bad i tried it so many times with 160+ qual maps always bad back 2 basics this farm is busted
At this point better to just alc & go in T16s you'll make more currency that way 😂
