It really depends on your sim. I didn't woohoo once before they got married, and I was romantic 4 times, and proposed to my sim, and she accepted. So I think it really depends on the sim.
It worked!! Although I did *Woohoo* 3 times and for the five minutes just for a more likely chance. And I also believe it still works and should always because it's not a glitch and if they change it, it means they deliberately do not want you to get married!

If u dnt want the blurry thing when they do whohoo then read this. Get 2 sims to whohoo go on setting and press launguage gomojto french and go back onto the game
Here is a way u guys can get the eternity ring for free all u need to do is open up sims make sure u can get married then click on the eternity ring then it will say u don't have enough then double press the home button get rid off the sims and open it up again do that one more time and when u open it the second time it should say relationship status engaged
