I knew she would win when I saw her stats with 6/9 finishes, it's currently unusual for women's MMA at UFC level. Now she's 7/10 finishes, with 5 of them being first round finishes. Best luck to her! First, not saying Paige isnt a decent Martial Artist and she obviously has talent.
But one cannot expect to fight in the UFC with their time and effort in other areas above MMA.
She will do decent in Bellator....But thinking she would beat someone who obviously has their priorities towards this profession is kinda a slap in the face to those who do.
Paige is a name though and Bellator or another org will pay her well simply for the name recognition.
But she hasnt shown she is willing to put the work in full time to be in the top 3 or a champion....if that is even possible (Although 125 in the UFC is obviously easier then any other division cause it is so shallow).
Many put everything they have into this sport and cant crack the top ten or even get out of the amatuers....Paige is tough....That only gets you so far.
Good luck to her and congratulations to Ribas....While we wont know till they dance.....Shevchenko looks like she at the very least has someone plse who is at least a competent Martial Artist at 125....Not sure Ribas stands a chance...But she certainly looks like she is deserving of it.
