Correct all guides except the tip is double foot wrapped. Even though it’s not titanium, the 66ml feels really well balanced. Especially with a 100 sized reel. The other models however, are somewhat top heavy (61xxh, 64xh, 73h)
@TFM-Travel_Fisherman Good to know, thanks for answering my question. I do have the 73h and I like it. Do you think the 66ml would be good for bfs 5-10 gram lures?
@@km-kf9sj I’ve casted is 3.5 grams on this rod with a bfs reel. I had to really cast hard to load the rod tip. I used Abu Zenon LTX with PE#1 for testing. Bfs reels cast amazing on here as long as the lure weight is around 5grams or more. 17 conquest has enough weight to balance the rod out. Aldebaran, Abu Zenon, and other lighter reels will feel a-bit too top heavy. Also, this rod is strong, even for ML rating. If you cast too hard , the power in of this rod with bfs thin line will snap your lure off if there is a backlash. Hope this helps.
Stick with salt water fish if you would like to take it home for eating. I would not recommend eating the fish near the spillways of the industrial areas. Pollution is still a major problem here and the city regularly pumps out drainage water into the rivers. The further upstream you go towards a major reservoir the less polluted the water is. If you wish to eat the fresh water fish, I recommend going to a private not connected to any body of water.
Are all the guides on this daiwa BLT C66ML double footed wrapped throughout the whole blank? If so, does it feel heavy?

@@travelrodfishing Thanks again for the information. I'll keep that in consideration.

Are the fish in Taiwan's river/sewer edible? How to make sure they are safe to eat?
