Coo per, Thank you for the excellent installation video. It was a great help during the installation of the JCW Tune Kit on my 2021 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Although a little pricey, I am very happy with the sound and performance.

hi, thanks for sharing the video. i purchased F54 Clubman. the Bluetooth controller did not come with the car so I got new one. i can not pair controller with reciver. i checked, every single wire, everything is as per manual instruction. there is an electricty output from fuse box to the reciver but reciver doesn't give any signs. i got spare one and it's the same so i doubt both are broken. does the tiny led light flashes anytime in your reciver ?
Tuning kit cost more as it includes the tuning disk and code, the exhaust kit is cheaper as it is just the exhaust kit (no JCW tune). If you car is already a JCW you will be able to go ahead and sell the Tuning CD and Code Key to someone that wants to put a JCW tune on a non-JCW (MINI Cooper S) car.
Do you know where I can buy the flap motor power wire? I have the jcw pro system on my f56 but my wire is cut unfortunately and my flap does not work anymore.
This is awesome! Thanks for making the video! I wonder if the JCW Pro exhaust impacts the power output of the engine. I say this because the midpipe of the JCW Pro exhaust did look like it was of a smaller diameter than the midpipe of the stock GP3 exhaust.
Hello. Thanks so much for you posting this video. I was just at the dealership and enquired about getting the exhaust fitted to my GP3 . They said that the jcw pro was smaller so a weld would have to be maid and then they could do the rest (wiring). I'm guessing they were wrong. And you can use the original clamp. Please let me know.
The are 100% wrong I did that work without a welder and the pipes are all the exact same size and diameter. it is a straight bolt in, I did it in my parking lot with basic hand tools.
@@ccooper2654 Awesome I figured they were Bullshiting me. Thank you so much. They also told me I couldn't put a oh shit handle on it which they were wrong. I did that in 2 seconds.
Can you give more details of the installation in the fuse box? I'm going to install mine tomorrow and I'm in doubt? Is it to connect the wires on the back of the fuse box? The wire to connect to the fuse box is without the connector, plug, plastic, I don't know if it's this way or the plug is missing. fact is that it has two bare ends without the plug, a red wire and a black wire, I bought used exhaust. Last question how did you pass the wire to the front of the vehicle? Thanks from Brazil.
Yes there should of been a brass connection on the end that goes to the fuse panel - so who ever removed it from the other car, cut the wire. To get the wire from front to rear I removed the trim panels and followed factory wiring routes
@@ccooper2654 It is to connect the fuse from the back and connect from the front to the fuse box using Fuse 3A and mini fuse 3A. do you have to connect from both sides?
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I'm trying to get this exhaust for my 2021 F56 JCW. But the dealer keeps telling me that they didn't make this exhaust for my car model. I told them that any exhaust of an F56 year model will fit in my car and they wouldn't believe that. After a lot of talking they tried to shut me up by telling me that they can't order a part if the chassis number doesn't show on their system that it has this part that I'm talking about. What should I do? I asked if i can use any chassis number of an F56 2018 year model in order for them to even be able to order it. Furthermore, they warned me that the car differs entirely from market to market (for example, US f56 is different from UK F56 and also different from any of the same car of any other region. It's really frustrating
Hey nice job on the video. I have GP 1395 and am very curious if you find any difference in power with the pro-exhaust. I am a little disappointed in the sound of the stock GP exhaust but assumed it was just not broken in yet (I only have 400 miles).
I cant say if there is more power by the seat of the pants dyno, the sound is better, but it is still not loud. I am like you I would really like a little more pop & burble from the exhaust.
I just installed on my 2019 jcw the pro exhaust but they left the gpf filter. So again no pops and bangs. Do you believe removing the filter will help having pops and bangs ? I am also afraid that removing the filter will make the car very loud even with the flap closed (having also droning). What is your opinion ?
I am not too sure on the 2019 if you will get the Pop and Bang - on my Wife's 2017 it does, but here in the US we dont have the GPF - I would ask on the groups if other 2019 get the P&B, is your car a JCW?

Can the JCW Pro Exhaust be installed into a 2021 JCW Mini? The dealership doesnt no longer sells nor install the exhaust.
I assume it will, being the GP3 exhaust has the OPF filter on it as does the JCWs now, my only concern is would it fail MOT without the OPF?
