Duck eggs are really good. When I was pregnant for my firstborn I couldn’t stand the smell or taste of chicken eggs. Old Grandma gave me duck eggs and all was fine. Love duck eggs.

The black things in your attic are actually called baffles. They let the air circulate from your soffit up into your attic…. I know it’s too late, but it’s usually good to insulate around your mechanical room to dampen the noise. Also, it’s good to insulate the interior wall of mom and dad‘s room.
Also all the washroom walls for noise reduction!
You Keep calling it siding, but like this gentleman, here it’s soffit. It’s under the eaves outside the house. it’s great you get to see how everything is built and done. We always learn something new every day 😊
@@lorioverhoff2824Steph was calling it shingles. The part running around under the roof on the outside is a SOFFIT. The other board runs around the roofline just under the roof shingles is called the FASCIA. Fascia boards are what cover the ends of the rafter tails to which the soffit boards are attached to make the eaves 😊

People go to Disney World to experience seeing giraffes outside their window. How special is it to have Badger pop up around your house. Also I like to say its always good to let people know you appreciate them, and by y’all cleaning up after the contractors they can get right to work when the arrive and have a clean environment to work in.

It's amazing how fast the house is coming together! Electric, insulation, and now sheetrock! At this rate, they'll be finished with the drywall and painting in a couple of weeks! 💖💖💖

Watching ducks on the water is so relaxing! I'd build a wood frame for a porch swing right by the pond. A quiet spot! Also, if its not too late, I'd make sure to insulate the garage walls. You may not need it now, but if you ever want to change it into a large family room( we did that. 5 kids when teens, great spot) or maybe a mother in law suite. Itll save work later. Excited for your new home for yall.

You need Muscovy Ducks!!! They kill snakes. They are a quiet duck They don't quack they kind of hiss. Love our Muscovy Ducks! Those ducks look young. Male ducks will get a curly tail feather and females won't. They are definitely fun to watch. God Bless ❤

I know some homesteaders who got rid of their ducks because of the mess they make. I’m sure there are ways to prevent that from having to happen. so, with a 2 axel trailer, roll the good wheel axel onto a a raised block/ same side. // remember to loosen nuts before. The ducks are cute, but the poop is very messy/ slime. The house looks great.

Not sure if the ducks are purebred or mixed, or what age they are, but male ducks usually have a curl at the end of their tails. Some ducks you can tell the difference between male and female because of the color of their feathers, males are usually more colorful.

Someone might have already said this but, if I'm not mistaken Brandon Kyason's ducks will help with the algae in the pond as well. Good luck on getting them tame, it looks like they come to you fairly easy so it should be fairly easy to get them to eat out of your hand and then you can go from there. The rooster will eventually leave them alone right now they are new and they are fowl so he is trying to show his dominance. Love that the house is coming together so fast can't wait to see you step into it for the very first time.

My late husband was a drywall finisher and my son is so I'm very familiar with that. Right now my son is trying to replace his tools. His were all stolen (about $2,000. worth). Please keep him in your prayers as it was a family member that he loved and trusted.

Ducks are adorable but they can be very messy if they get out of their territory. If they do get out, they will head straight to your new house and poop all over your new concrete porch and patio.
I believe the real colorful ducks are males. The females are plain Jane's.

we built a small house and I had the insulators put insulation in all of inside walls too for sounds. That way if one of us or both of us need to rest during the day, we won't hear someone in the kitchen or bathroom. It works great for that.
