I got the "Elektra Micro Casa Semi-Automatica SXC" and I am having problems with the filter holder. It doesn't snap in as easy as shown in 5:20. Any ideas how I can make it fit properly? My filter holder looks a bit different but it's the one from Elektra which I got with the machine. 😕
I appreciate the video and indeed I would someday buy an Electra, but not this one. My Isomac Tea PID more than fulfils the bill when it comes to semi-automatics. An Electra micro caza a leva though is a whole different and attractive proposition.
I own this same machine, but the Art Deco design. It's a great machine, but it is "hands-on". I would highly recommend if you do not already have a quality grinder that you make the investment. At bare minimum, one of the one to two hundred dollar grinders. I bought the Breville Pro, and use the double basket. I have it set at #4, and 17.8 grams I think it is. It doses by timer so all you have to do is push the button. This seems to provide an acceptable result for me. This machine requires precise grind, and weight each time to get good consistent results. It is a very good machine if you like controlling everything.
Thank you for a wonderful close up and walk through! My Rancillio Miss Silvia may be jealous I'm watching this...
While we Americans were enjoying our freeze-dried NASA coffee, the Italians continued to pay homage their espresso machines. !Ah Italia!
You would need to have another level of understanding to understand this, it's unfortunate...😉
Thanks for the review.
You explain it very clearly

good review thank you.
Do you have to keep on pressing the button when pouring the coffee? or Do you have to press just once and it's automatic?
Within seconds I was sure you were Italian! You know how to pronounce the name correctly. 😂

Great video! My coffee doesn't come out us creamy, what am I doing wrong? Is it the grind?
