Popa Chubby and now Christone Kingfish Ingram are such outstanding keepers of the Guitar hero legacy. I wish for an SRV evening of the two together on stage, and as a special guest Randy Hansen. I would travel halfway around the planet for that.

I was wondering what had happened to him... I used to live in France and he was BIG ( no pun intended ) in France 15 years ago... I saw him on stage in Paris many times... Glad to see he's still okay and touring... On a more technical note I see he's added a Seymour Duncan Little JB or '59 ( presumably ) in the bridge position of his strat, it wasn't there last time I saw him...

Saw him when he released his Hendrix Tribute double cd. He came to Ram's Head Annapolis, MD. He kicked our asses that night. Been buying his music ever since. He truly should be more widely recognized.
After showing the world that you are a guitar master, I hope the next albums would become better - as in the beginning of your carrier. Spend more time on writing good, new catchy songs which are also good for communication with the audiance - than on your guitar skills. They ARE already the best in the world. Now it`s time for re-activate your song-writing skills. Not that all of the new albums are shitty, but "The good the bad and the chubby" is something different than e. g. "Tinfoil hat" you know what I am sayin?
