Amara Clearing Borderlands 3 with NO GEAR! Part 22, Tyreen!

Today we're up against Tyreen Calipso, The Destroyer...again.
No guns, no class mods, no grenade mods or artifacts and, perhaps most importantly, no shields. Come along for the ride as I do whatever it takes to complete this challenge run.

in bl3 what do you think in terms of who is better than who, with like moze zane amara and fl4k

If we're talking in general (as in with gear) I think Moze is the most powerful followed by either Zane or Amara. Fl4k is also really strong though, I just feel he doesn't quite match Zane or Amara's potential in power level. The downside with Moze is over time she can start to feel more one note than the others. I guess power always comes with a price.
Now if we're talking about purely fun factor Amara is probably my number 1 specify with a phase cast/run and gun build. With the exception of Melee Iron Bear build on Moze, that build is almost too strong though. It's tons of fun but it does wear thin faster. Zane and Fl4k do each have their own fun builds too of course.
(I have a very fun build for a 4 person all Fl4k team. Maybe I'll make a video on it sometime.)
Now, in case you're curious about how they stack up with no gear; I think most power is Moze. Mostly because after a certain level she's not much different than with gear thanks to Iron Bear.
As far as most fun with no gear however, I think I'd say Fl4k holds that honor...at least, so far. I haven't done my Zane no gear challenge yet. ;)

@@Rad_Wizrrd yea i was just wondering cuz me and my brother were thinking of starting a new run, (we have already played through it multiple times) and this time we are going to try and get stronger builds and do all the DLCs and stuff and take the game further, and I was just wondering who you would recommend we play? You obviously seem to know a lot.

@@kleptosmqck713 Well thank. I've played a ridiculous amount of the game, so I have well-formed opinions, but at the end of the day a lot of it comes down to taste. I think playing a character whose skills interest you is what's most important.
Part of what makes Borderlands 3 so good is being able to play each character in several different ways. Each character has potential. If I was starting a two person playthrough today I think I'd want a Zane and an Amara personally. They're both a lot of fun and Zane has the best dialog in the game. But I'd encourage reading the characters different action skills before picking and going with one that seems cool and fun to you.
Oh, and if you're not enjoying your build don't think twice about respecting. The in game cost to respect is minor and well worth paying. A different build can make so much difference in terms of power and fun if you're not feeling what you have.

Also I was thinking about buying the designer and directors cut as we are going to start playing a bit more and going deeper in, do you think they are worth it and if so do you know any good builds with it? I do think the designer and directors cuts are worth it, yes. There's a lot of cool stuff included in them. It's been long enough I honestly don't remember exactly what came in which DLC but I love all the content and would recommend them to anyone looking for more stuff to do in the game. 🙂
