28:00 Vines doesn’t give shroud Reid. It doesn’t give hexproof either. It’s a unique ability that acts kinda like hexproof if cast on your own creature, but it can also stop your opponent from targeting his own creature too. Like if your opponent casts a spell or ability that gives his creature indestructible so it can survive, you can respond by targeting it with vines and it would fizzle the opponents attempt
Just curious, is it mandatory to vocally announce your plays? Obviously both players know what’s happening when Sam silently points Wasteland at one of Tim’s lands, but I could see that getting pretty messy.
Michael Lapalme He probably does speak when he does it but we cannot hear him. Many players do not speak the same language as eachother so using motions and making your intentions clear with your actions is good.
Odds are they were talking, if you watched the Reid Duke rounds, you would see that he was micd and talks a lot. Also a lot of cross country games happen and most people understand some phrase in english like “waste land trop.”
" sam black did manage to sneak a marit lage in there somehow. I didnt see what happened."- marshall Sutcliffe, worst mtg commentator (besides the other wotc mtg commentators who are all terrible) They are only saved by getting pros into the boothe.

I remember people in the same space

Legacy Infect is my favorite deck, it's really depressing to watch these mopey draws get slaughtered back to back. :(

he def deserved the lose
@@Ohushi did you see him miss play and punt the game away both games
Smh
@@badvoodoo2097 i would as well. Im a scrub XD
ah yes 2018, lil peep, juuls, and Tim Hatch infect... those were the days
At 12:20 roughly did Sam black dredge life from the loam and draw? If so how because I though dredge replaces the draw.
No, he cycled the green land and dredged off of that, then drew for his turn on his draw step.
Who doesn’t know that they’re age counters?
They aren't, they're ice counters.
That infect build Tim has is mad annoying

They were talking about the metagame and legacy in general as sam black almost won the game a couple minutes ago.
