I think your the only person who's honest about all your read days and bad decision making. That's the only reason why I trust most of what cameron says. He tells it like it is. When he wins when he loses. The only honest trader I've seen. Super levels of respect.

He's the reason I think it's possible to have honest outlier success. It's all about being grounded and methodical. I lose when I break it, and I see him lose when he breaks it too. It's always just sticking to the pre-game plans and patterns that actually work. It's always the mental games we play with ourselves that lets us talk ourselves into deviating from that which causes the loss. It's always the reason. Always.

You are soooo not alone. It seemed like for every buyer there was someone shorting, fighting every penny of the way. I heard someone say "The market is so saturated with retail traders, there is someone willing to BUY or SELL at just about every price." It felt like that today...yesterday was little better. But, for what it's worth, the things I have learned from you are beyond gold. One of the most simple things you have said is "The trade has got to look OBVIOUS." That one phrase keeps saving my ass. Thanks for being a great teacher and for keeping it real.

Yesterday and today was super frustrating. Yesterday it seemed like every time I went to take a position the stock dropped and knifed down. Today, there was no volume on any of the stocks on the Top Gainers chart. Super frustrating!!

Bought GSUN at 4.25 to 5.26. Saw how fast it was going up made a small trade around the 6.50 mark and called it a day. No huge gain. Just some profit and then shut it down.

Sorry to hear this ross, but the good thing that comes out of this, you showed the discipline to walk away and that’s everything, when your in situations of this nature. As they say it’s the turfiest that survive and those that can resist anything, especially when it’s tempting, will always prove successful in the end, so hats of to you there ross. If I was you I would take a day of tomorrow and do something exciting, then Thursday, your be really refreshed and roaring to go. I would when I return, look for the most volatile stock, that’s got great news, no more than 5.00 a share, go in small size and take 500 dollars or pounds as we say in England. That to me will set you up nicely for a slight bigger trade, but not much more bigger. In fact ross I would just trade like that until next week if this was me, just look to get green, take a few quid profit and then slowly increase come Monday next week, if you been profitable over the Thursday and Friday that is. Now this would definitely be rehab ross and a chance to regroup. As for me I was doing gardening today and as it was nice weather, trading was not so much a priority, I have not won nothing or lost anything, my overnight trades stayed stable, so I had bugger all to worry about. Tomorrow!see what comes up and if I find one I like I give it a go, if not, I do something else instead and just keep checking in on the news, see whats occurring.

Thanks Ross, glad you walked away. It is so hard to not let things spiral. My biggest issue is what you mentioned is the "hope" it will turn around and not just get the hell out when it turns against you. So, today I ended up dumping my baggage stocks I had. The double HALT down yesterday /sigh was a tough one and two others that wasn't great. I did calculations and would have made another 6k if I would have just taken a 300 loss on each of those stocks and with a tighter stop or even after 1 HALT I would have done okay. So, tomorrow I have a clean slate and ready to get back on a positive streak even if slow to recoup those losses. Thank you man hopefully tomorrow is the day of news and stock movement :)

didnt even take a trade in todays chopfest. feels kinda good! thanks for the video and honesty ross!
I got in at $4.97 with 200 shares of GSUN, sold half at $6, it went up $7.23 hoping for $8 it dumped all the way down instead, waited for regain, instead went all the way down $5, gave back almost $250 profit. Got FOMO and stepped in and got 300 shares of NUZE when it halted lost $50 then decidedded to walk out with a $45 profit for the day.
Honestly, this market is very frustrating, I am losing all my confidence at this time.
the market was brutal today. almost all the gainers flushed at some point and nailed a lot of us.
You are not the only one losing confidence. At least you had a small green day. I, on the other hand, messed up bigtime. What can I say, gotta come back more disciplined and cut out losers faster.

Are you able to make a video on why you use four charts (10s, 1m, 5m, 1D). What is the efficient way of monitoring all the 4 charts at once. Do you trade on multiple stocks simultaneously on various screens with 4 charts to each or is it better to just focus on one stock with 4 charts open.
Additionally, what are the key points you look at the 4 charts to make a quick decision.

Gee Ross, maybe you should just buy and hold SCHD. I have a dog that loves down days because he gets extra walks...get one at shelter. The only other thing I can think of is that piece of art hanging next to you would blow my mojo. Try a framed Maria Brink of In This Moment. I have very few red days and show up at my desk EARLY! :) Have a LOT of green days in a row now.
Broke a rule and got in too early on MTC. It flushed hard after halt. Lost 12,600. All in one red candle in a matter of milliseconds. Feeling a little nauseous.

Right, I'm a new trader and haven't made anything, haven't lost either just keep breaking even in month 3 of my journey. But everyone says election years are great for getting starting. I'm thinking those are all long term investors.
In month 2 I had the most fun not knowing nothing just traded 1m chart if it went down I sold when went up I bought. Making 20$-50 per trade. Best times.

Yup, hit max loss as well today. The trade immediately turned red and didn’t get green and the position wasn’t in the green til I exited after I had hit my max loss. Looking back at the basics to see what I did wrong cause I forced this trade, I had no reason being in this position but it’s just another day in the market. Hopefully I’ll catch some opportunities tomorrow, hope everyone had a great day.

That happened to me last month. It was awful. I actually had a red day today, but it was a very small red day. And those are easy to make up
I had a tiny green day today. Still trying to make up yesterday's 5x max loss drawdown.
I am with you there. I made a huge unforced error trading yesterday. Today I only recouped about 1/3rd of it. But, there are three more trading days. With a bit of luck it could turn into a green week.
Will this warrant the share cap staying on til half your drawdown is back? Or does your draw down have to be a certain amount to trigger the rehab conditions? Or just a feeing?

Wish i had this guy's talent and nerve to day trade. Been trying so hard. I just cant seem to get emotionally grounded. Everyday seems like its the type of he is talking about for me. I only win on small shares because i dont fear losing a few dollars lol
100 share blocks used to shake me up lol. Over time it gets better though... maybe desensitized is the right word.

pretty much every gainer flushed. even halt ups flushed down.
Had a small green day. Had a red to green day yesterday. Didnt fully recover but still moving in the right direction.
As new trader this is great to see, i constantly keep wondering what im doing wrong. I make some great moves followed by some bad moves. I was red today but with very minimal loss.
I was a week into paper trading, up 4k..........blew it up today.... learned a lesson.

Very honsest of an experienced trader like you to talk about psychological flaws and telling the hones story about trading. Too many self-proclaimed Guru's are throwing sand in the eyes of kids.
day 2 paper trading on fixed 100 share size... tried trading CMND pre-market - took 4 trades and barely got away with a $3 loss. Lots of minor movements, all chaotic - I don't even know why I started trading it in the first place. With GSUN I got in pretty much on the first pullback and earned $129. I might have traded more (and probably lost money) if my account wasn't "used up" for the day. The simulation annoyingly wasn't filling my limit orders, so I took a couple of purchases at MKT afterwards just to make sure it still works and lost money on those, but that's a different story... Still can't figure if those LMT orders weren't being filled because of the sim not working properly (likely the case) or because the price was moving too fast.
I was hoping u don't get 2nd red day in a row.. u seemed a bit frustrated yesterday..

@@AMdAr which brokers does it support? The main reason I lose trades in swing trading is because of commissions and market isn't volatile enough to generally swing that greatly. Then often it's not stable enough to make consistent trades in event markets.
@@TheGoreforceyou're right..markets aren't hot enough for either day or swing trading...TOS is my best option
@@TheGoreforce I tend to do long swing trades on mining stocks. When the price of precious metals are low, all the related mining stocks fall to the basement. This is when you buy. When the pendulum swings the other way and precious metals go up, then the mining stocks soar. It makes them a safer and more predictable trade. The downside is that the price of metals can stay depressed for months sometimes. Right now, metals are UP, and this is NOT the time to buy.
I had another red day too. Every day since I’ve been live trading has been horrible. I’ve had my platform crash, stop allowing me to sell, and regardless of how perfect the setup is, there’s a sharp and rapid drop right after I buy.
Just wondering, did you use level 2 and tape on those trades? What were they saying?

I’ve been trying to move into day from swing trading and I also had B2B red days. Today I lost a little more than I did yesterday, but I’m gaining discipline and I feel like I’m turning a corner. If I can get make a few green trades tomorrow, I’ll be very happy with myself and it’ll be a big confidence booster

Watched GSUN and several other stocks gap up but it just felt weird to trade today so I watched while flying over the Atlantic.
I got a small win on mtc then a red trade on gsun. Gave back half my profits and stepped away for the day. Stayed green tho. Ive been trading lil bit after open. Seems most have been flushing lately at open. Ive also been waiting past conformation. Leaving some but been green and that works for me for now!
I find the only way (for me) to play the open, is to play scared. The moment the rise is slowing down, or a halt is being neared (because it rose to fast), I sell and walk away with profits.
@@addertooth1 i noticed lately theres a rise just before then a strong pull back just after them seems to either jump off or flush. I wait till after that moment to decide.
Down 10k overall but I won’t give up. This business is my job when I retire. I’m learning costly to master it.

Why do you talk about the 5000 max shares? Is it a limit set by the broker?
