Wow, you included a drone shot! You sure are dedicated to making your travelogues as tightly edited and presented just like an actual travel TV show! How did the buying the eggs or bottled water work? Was no one there and they were being sold on trust that you would leave the appropriate amount of cash?
Thanks! I didn't end up buying any of the eggs in the fridge because I didn't have a good way to store or cook them. But it's totally on the honor system. You just leave your money in a little box. I should have bought one of the waters but honestly I didn't see it at the time I only saw it in the video after the fact.
@@NomadicNoms It is nice to see that there is still a sense of communal trust in some small-town, out-of-the-way places. I think in most other places in the USA, if anyone tried selling something on trust, everything would be quickly stolen!
I lived on Block Island for a while.I worked at BIG Block Island Grocery behind the deli. Very very busy.I loved it there. But after a while I began to miss the big city.I guess I have the big city in my blood.I left BI and went to another island..Long Island. Bayshore to be precise.
I just saw your video of you & your friend looking for the nude beach in South Padre Island to no avail. I researched nude beaches in Texas and the only location that keeps popping up Hippie Hollow park. I'm confused, are South Padre island & Hippie Hollow park one in the same? Perhaps you & your friend were driving in the wrong direction? Whatever the case that was very cool video 👍👍
Thanks for the comments. The thing that I think is really appealing about the nude beach at South Padre is that it's pretty much an unofficial nude beach. It's really difficult to get there without a four-wheel drive vehicle so I think the fact that it's not easy to get to it's what makes it easy to get away with being nude there. I had never heard of hippie hollow before though I might check it out next time I'm in the Austin area!
Beauty... Glad my music fit the video... I'm Massachusetts born and raised!
Love it! Thank you!!!!!!!
Awesome vid! 😎❤️

Yea I think most people are kind and trustworthy but it's just that one in a million that gives us pause.
Nice
