Hello fellow Nctzen😂😂😂
Finally I found an Nctzen who is a Yuzu Stan😂😊❤️
@@bootifulcookie5274 omg hello haha

Oh you mean the REAL world record that's hastily hidden as "historical" - - simply unbeatable!!
I might actually start watching the Olympics because of Yuzuru..
I don’t think he’ll be in the 2022 olympics 😭
Arisa Flanders that’s the summer Olympics🙁
Arisa Flanders Same! Guess we’ll just have to wait a while. Be sure to watch all of his previous performances though😊🤗
same.
Jungkooie what are you doing here?
Hanyu: no other skater has his technical excellence and superb artistry on the ice. Five years later, and now pro, and he's still the best figure skater EVER.
But they forget Yuzu have his ultimate weapon "his inoncent smile" and his Pooh san

Nathan maybe the "modern quad king", but yuzuru would always be the "much more than that"
Right. He may be technically very good, but he does not have the expressiveness, the charisma and the elegance of Yuzuru
@Winny Firstia you're absolutely right. Yuzuru has the passion in skating that's why people like him a lot.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
they're both amazing skaters, stop bringing nathan down!
nathen chen better tho
Yuzuru has an elegance and grace that cannot be taught. It’s just in his blood
I don't know much about this sport but ngl..when the 1st guy skates, he set bar too high ig. I'm mesmerized by him omg..
Yes
Yeah❤️❤️❤️yuzu
that man just made me an ice skating fan in less than 5 minutes and i can't even stand on ice
welcome to the yuzu fandom
And he did it with an injured ankle as well
why does yuzuru look younger than nathan despite being 5 years older😂
Because he is a vampire

I have no proof but no doubt
Yuzuru was born on 98 and nathan was born on 99, right?

I thought Seimei was Yuzuru's winning performance not knowing figure skating had a short program and a free skate. This performance was so gold. Also, the way he makes 1 1 1 with his finger is so cute
Yuzuru performed perfectly. Nathan had a bad day, I felt sad for him :(. Javier's performance made me smile, we really missed him.

During the interview, I noticed Yuzuru has this habit of dismissing questions that might introduce negative or discouraging feelings on himself. I think that's very genius. Also, why do NBC commentators make it look like Yuzu is arrogant? I notice this a couple of times now, especially the question where he answered that he wasn't thinking about the gold but just skating for himself.
because they are an north american media and they have a representant in the guy of the (arrogant) commercial.
its even worse because johnny is one of yuzuru idol when he was young, he even made a short program inspired on him for tribute annd then johnny trash talk yuzuru like ??? im so glad yuzu change programs last year (even if otoñal was fantastic)

I think that there is a big difference between Nathan Chen and Yuzuru. It is true that Nathan has more quad jumps to use, but his skating does not seem to move our hearts. His skating looks like just gymnastics, jumping around, but Yuzuru's skating pulls our hearts with his passionate performance. Yes Yuzuru is performing with such a high quality and high-class elegance. Just watching his fingers, hands, arms, eyes, face expressions, legs, feet, every edge of his body, a music seems to come out naturally. Is anyone there who notices such differences?
They are both great skaters otherwise they wouldn't be here. And who made you the voice of the viewers? It's an opinion that Yuzuru's is more passionate, a popular one, but an opinion no less. Have you seen Nathan's free skate from last years World Championship bc that pulled my heart similar to how Yuzuru's skating does for you. The 'difference' is in your preference not in either of their abilities to envoke passion/emotion.
@@faithsampson6340 First of all, this comment section is for anyone that wants to post their own "opinion or comment or feeling" or whatever they want to say. I did not mean to offend anybody's comment. I just wanted to emphasize the greatness of Yuzuru's skating. And, by the way, how I felt, how others felt, are, as you say, each person's impression and reaction, sure. But, the reason why I wanted to emphasize the greatness is that my "feeling, impression, and inspirationary excitement" is broadly shared with many people, especially the "artistical professionals and artistic creators." I did NOT mean that my comment and feeling is the voice of all the people, so why you criticize my comment such a way is beyond my comprehension. You really offended me, by criticizing me of doing something that I did NOT do. I never pushed my feeling to others. This comment section has "community guideline" and your comment against me is a violation of the guideline. You offended me.
Please see below, so that you will know why I was sure that what I felt was not only my "feeling" not "opinion" but it was shared with many artistic professionals, such as ballet dancers, sing-song writers, music composers.
One of the people who are professional artists is Christina Valdez, of the Crescendo Conservatory, who uploaded many ballet performances on RUclips, as a tribute to Yuzuru Hanyu.
Also another artist is Kelly Moran, who was equally impressed by the "musicality, artisty, body expressions, arms expressions" and created her own products.

@@harumih.3727 I don't see how my comment was offensive but wtv. And i said myself that many ppl share the same opinion as you he is a great skater but so is Nathan. They both obviously spend hours practicing so that they can do what they like. I was only saying that there is not so much a difference between them as ppl like to think. Red might envoke more emotion in most ppl than the color blue but that does not make it a more passionate color. It might be a FACT that more ppl like the color red than blue bc more ppl precieve it to be more moving than blue but it is an OPINION that it is more soul moving than blue to begin with. That applies to Nathan and Yuzuru as well. Just bc more ppl agree with you does not lessen the fact that their are still ppl who would disagree with you. To me it seemed as though when you said 'our hearts' you were speaking for ppl in general. And it is never good to generalize in my opinion . if you had said the majority that would have been true. But he does not move all hearts just like how Nathan does not move yours and Nathan does not move all hearts but he does move some. Your second comment seemed to be a defense for Yuzuru but you misunderstand i am not discrediting him, i actually like them both equally, only pointing out that you are expressing the opinion of the majority as though it applies to everyone. Obviously they are both awesome and have their strengths and weaknesses but their ability to move somebody cannot and should not be quantified. It's like if someone said black ppl don't appeal to our eyes but white ppl do. That implies that white ppl are generally more attractive which is bs. Some ppl might think so even the majority( im being theoretical ofc) but its an opinion so it would be misleading to use "our" in that sentence and yours as well. Opinions are fine but they should not be stated as fact. White ppl are not more attractive than other races. They appeal more to some ppl just like how Yuzuru's skating appeals to your heart. It's a preference and style choice not a fact regardless of the majority opinion.
@@harumih.3727 Sorry ig just a tip for life generalizing is easy to do and i doubt you noticed it but we should all avoid it myself included word choice is important bc it may change how one precieves meaning.
@@faithsampson6340 what the hell is your problem? no one is pushing their mindset onto anyone. they weren’t even speaking in behalf of everyone, they were simply expressing their adoration for the skater they look up to most and asked if anyone else felt the same way. why the fuck are you acting like anyone is FORCING you to change your perspective when the only person here who seems to be doing just that is you? don’t speak of indifference when that is the very thing you don’t have. good grief, get a grip.
"Really? Some of you doubted me?"
That doesn't seem right. He just looks like he's moved and so happy to be back
THIS !
Yes! Even tho people call him king etc. Yuzu never that kind of guy that would say that! He is super humble, his face clearly show that he is glad that he cam finally return to the rink.

i love figure skating because of Yuzuru Hanyu
The bias towards Nathan is pretty disgusting. Honestly though, he had a beautiful program, just nerves and luck weren’t on good terms with him that day. Yuzu back at it again with the raining Pooh bears- amazing performance from the best. Shoma is just so adorable omg. The russian dude (sorry forgot his name) was so graceful, I was in awe. Jin was pretty powerful. HOWEVER the highlight in my opinion is HOW AMAZING JAVI WAS LIKE YES.
I mean it is a US broadcast commentary not an unbiased Olympic panel lol
My eyes got happy when I saw Javi skating
nathan be like " you only think about quad?" i have more than that
javi's performance was my fav. He was sooo into his character, so it was very fun watching him.
I didn't watch the American broadcast the whole way through. I was so disgusted with the Johnny and Tara's commentary I switched over to literally anything else I could find after the fact. Canada and Japan most specifically. Like, even now I don't even enjoy watching Johnny skate like I did before I was so put off by him. Javi is my KING and he freaking retired in STYLE! Yuzu was a smug little brat the entire Olympics and I will forever remember his little stint at the practice rink. Love our ice king. Jin was so freaking graceful, same goes for Shoma, they were so on point and I was screeching like a child the entire time. Ugh, just what a good year for the men (if you weren't American) PyeongChang was!
Yuzuru Hanyu is just WOW here! I don't even know how can he pull this off with an injured ankle. He is just the GOAT with total package. BTW the US commentary is always so bias. The comment of Johnny Wier saying Nathan's SP is the best choreographed one makes my head full of puzzle!!! I was like really????
Wu Chester ,,,it is subjective, with regards to choreography, but I do believe it’s the finest program.
@@garysimmons1485 really? I dont see how? I mean it is subjective but...
Sahra Thiriet ,,yes, really,,,LoL
@@sahrathiriet8523 it's not subjective either, Chopin is choreographic perfection. Transitions alone are something Nathan sees only in his dreams.
@@subidubiduda5293 I do agree with this hhhhh
at the age of nineteen yuzuru has already won olypic gold and a world championship.
Yuzuru, in my opinion, is the most beautiful, artistic and accomplished skater.
Yuzuru: Did you have doubts about my victory?
Fanyus: Never my king!
Everyone talking about yuzu and nathan but please lets give some love to Shoma! He landed a clean quad flip and had a great performance.
Arber
Finally! A comment about Shoma!
Amongst the five skaters who've been pushing the technical boundaries since 2014, Shoma Uno has the most problematic techniques with his biggest jumps. Yuzuru: textbook everything, Javier: textbook quad toes and quad salchows, Nathan Chen: textbook quad jumps across all types, Jin Boyang: textbook quad lutzs with insane height and distance. Shoma Uno? Flutzs, Floops, excessive prerotations. He gets away with them because of lack of clarity in the judging rules, but in the eyes of many he's overrated to say the least.
Shoma was absolutely fantastic and fierce!
Arber さ
I love Shoma and I'll always support him. ♥️♥️♥️♥️. Thanks Arber
Yuzu is so cute the way he can't speak well in english but people still understand what he wants to say i'd never really gonna get over it how people do be considerate it's a warm feeling
Well every skater or athlete put there blood, sweat and tears in there respective field. I've respect to all of them.
But, some are born different like yuzuru who literally change the sport and I'm here for it.
I think Nathan might have focused a little to much on trying to outdo yuzuru and not on himself trying to land those jumps
I wonder if yuzuru didn’t go first that Nathan might have placed higher than he did
Isabella Genova Probably. Going first can be a huge advantage.
@@moonlight_oats I mean but didn't Nathan do very bad in the team short program as well? I don't think it was a matter of going after yuzu (though that of course affected it a little), I just think it was just an off day and it was his first olympics and he's very young. yuzuru's mindset is just otherworldly, but I'm glad Nathan was able to redeem himself in the free.
I think that it’s the nerves. I think that Olympics is like athletes’ pinnacle so their nerves are at its peak as well.
I think that there are a lot of factors for this to happen.
Hanyu is simply a star inside and out. Nathan is simply made to be a star but the pressure got to him.
Just a guess ok.
i think it was nerves and the shock of yuzuru score, 111 when he just returned to the ice? that would make everyone nervous, even javier suffered from it in the 2017 worlds. Now he is used to it. Not to mention this was the first time i think that nathan competed with a clean yuzuru (yuzu always pick at the end of the season)
That 'Tadaima' made me smile
Okaeri to the ONE KING ♡
3:15 yuzu's twizzle+4t+3t(tano) is beautiful
I understand this new era of figure skating since I was a skater myself in my youth. But I also think that too much emphasis is being placed on this quad jump revolution. It seems to me that they are turning the Olympics into a quad jump contest; who can do the most in their program. A quad does not a program make! It is a single element in the whole program. You don't win an Olympic medal based solely on how many quads you did. Equally important is the artistic quality and impression you make on the audience.
@Heather Kmetz very well said. You're absolutely right.
Heather Kmetz ,,,it’s a sport, so of course the jumps receive the most marks,,,,the technical and artistic are not equally important in sport, but a nice balance is desirable.
@@garysimmons1485 In 2014 Jason Brown skated a program to Riverdance and didn't do a single quad jump. He came in first place. He danced his way through his program and really connected with the audience. I'm just saying that there's more to a program than just a bunch of quad jumps.
Heather Kmetz ,,,a lot has changed technically since 2014 and I know you realize that. Patrick Chan is also a victim of the quad revolution...he is no longer competitive as well. I agree that there has to be more than jumps, but without them, you might as well become a coach.
@@garysimmons1485 The quad revolution all started with Kurt Browning in 1984 when he was the first man to land a quad in a competition. Since then others have followed in his footsteps pushing the envelope turning the Olympics into a quad jumping contest. Now you see the new wave of young Russian girl skaters at 13 yrs. old doing quads. So now you have a Russian Revolution of quad jumpers too. I like to look back at older clips of skaters back in the day when there was a lot more artistry, grace and finesse. The beautiful skaters that skated elegantly. This is what drew me to the sport. I loved skating when I was younger and I competed for a while. I had fun while I did it. There wasn't the pressure then of landing big jumps.
Yuzuru’s mesmerising skate: “ Liquid Gold “ the most beautiful and apt description.
Yong Ai Nan ; I only saw this tonight. It was absolutely mesmerising. It was just so fluid. No staccato movements at all, like a ribbon waving in a gentle breeze..

I only found out who Yuzuru was a couple years back and considering I watch figure skating religiously every Olympic Games, he is by far the best I've seen. He moved so fluidly and he has the best expressions when he's skating. He's a beautiful skater and so humble especially when he said he's not thinking about the medals he's just being himself. He has such talent I honestly think he's a blessing to skating.

Yuzuru's landings are so perfect 😭
Yuzuru Hanyu , maestro, super Star. From Poland ✌️✌️🇵🇱
I knew from the start that it would end with Yuzu, Javi, and Shoma. I feel genuinely bad for Nathan, but he simply just wasn't ready for the amount of stress that he was put under after Yuzuru's score. Same with Mikael. I think the reason that the top three are the top three is because they know each other well. There are plenty of instances of the three interacting off the ice. Shoma, in my eyes, is kind of like Yuzu's protege, for lack of a better word. You can see the influence Yuzu has on his skates. Another thing the three do, is they get out of their heads, and loosen their bodies. The first thing Yuzu does in every skate I've ever seen him do is a languid roll of his body. He always has a few moments after the music starts before he starts skating, and when he walks on the ice, it more like he's greeting an old friend father than approaching his throne. Shoma, he controls the ice with a firm but gentle hand. Javi plays with the ice, toys with it.
Wow so true... it’s more about mental game indeed
I also feel like they do it for the fun and the love. Like if they come second they are just happy to have been on the ice if that makes sense. They are in it for the audience but want the competitive thrill
Luna Magicath yuzu himself said that after achieving so much (he probably means the grand slam), he wants to return to his roots and skate for himself (and not for the score)
Shoma is just unbothered and calm as ever. He treats every competition the same. (referring to what he said in an interview after they won) It didn't really bother him if it was the prestigious Olympics, he just skated like he always does. I seriously aspire to be as unbothered as he is.
Even though my FS knowledge is not perfect, but i could tell how different Yuzuru skates form the others, his skating is just so effortless, smooth and beautiful!! Yet his entries & exits from his jumps are the most difficult ones!! I really admire him he’s the GOAT!!

The person who can do better is not born yet. This is out of this world. BRAVO, BRAVO YUZURU HANYU
I’ve been watching Yuzuru’s videos lately and I can really tell his style is so much different than other skaters. He’s really graceful and slides on the ice. He doesn’t make his moves powerful such as his arms but makes them moves with his body instead of forcing them. I can really see why he holds the first and second highest ever score

This video have everything: Yuzu, Javi and Shoma’s Olympic medal program, and Yuzu speaking in English. THANKS.
This is why Yuzuru is the best. He managed to touch our hearts with this brilliant performance whilst having an injury. Using painkillers to do so yet got the gold. He is the GOAT and he is creating art. Javier as well, a brilliant duo and Shoma is someone to watch.

Perfect package of musicality, artistic ability, perfirmacability and perfect quality!! Only one can do all of these elements. Yuzuru only!! His performance tells us something: a person who never forgets appreciation of everything in a life will succeed eventually. Yuzuru's appreciation is reflected everywhere he goes and comes.
