great and useful video. . not only for xp users! it's a pity and very sad that the norfolk wolf is not longer amongst us! he was extremely passionate about the hobby, a real expert and he had the ability to explain even complicated issues in an easy to understand manner! i would have loved to see more videos like that! R.I.P. john!
Although the XP Goldmaxx is a non metered machine (no display) it is still a top metal detector. Norfolk Wolf gives a great description of how to get the best from it here. The XP Deus is obviously a more advanced digital machine with faster response and more freqs etc, but a lot of my friends use the Deus with the goldmax power setting as a default, so I cannot really see a great difference in detecting capability between the two. There is of course £400 or £500 difference in price. Anyway John gives (for my money) an almost ASMR run down of the machine. Watch it and learn that the XP Goldie is a great machine. Nuff said!
anyone know what this good man used himself ? getting used to garret AT pro at mo, not sure on beaches right near water with it , abit fussy, compromise doesn't help
