AA is actually so strange. I cant put my finger on what makes it so much more enjoyable than other tower defenses, but it just is 😭 i cant wait for AA to add some QOL aspects.
yea like instead of grinding for godlies and just bringing two godlies to carry the entire round or just bringing multiple farms and dps in anime vanguard. I prefer the team building for specific conditions in AA like 2 DPS, 3 farms and 1 support or 1 farm 1 dps and 4 supports. There are so many possibilities to clear the game and it's just refreshing compared to the other TD games
Anime Vanguards averaged over 100k players aswell. After the bots removal 90% of the playerbase went poof. I wouldn't be surprised if AA is the same case

I was never one of the ones that was a die hard AA fan so this game coming back never really changed anything for me personally, cool for the ones that missed this game but since we've had a ton of other TD games drop playing AA feels like a game that came back and was stuck in the past. If they ever do any qol for AA i might be more inclined to play it again but as it stands now playing the other TD games are a better choice over AA.
The problem is if the game had anything fun or worth other than the amount of content for no lifers (the content itself is not as good as other games) and not even looking that good like people hyping up the game for looking good but the gui and units especially the models look so janky and old, even the new vfx is mostly mid except for a few units (basically just vanilla ice even Aizen looks kinda goofy)

not only is this event in AA harder, but you get 2x less currency, it takes 2x longer and the chance for the secret is like 4x rarer in AA - yet nobody complains. the atd community really is something special.
AA has had me hooked since it re-released but Im gonna be honest, they NEED to add a QOL update soon because games like Vanguards, ALS, and Reborn have features that make playing less exhausting, I.E a unit manager, auto upgrading, and making stages more fast paced so they dont take an eternity to grind resources.
I used to love AA as much as the next person, real heartbreak when I got hit with the "grind one entire day to evolve one unit" thing. The no QoL was just extra, you can't expect me to play a game that's genuinely ass to progress in.. Reborn is honestly my favourite

the point of this video for those who upset "oh you complaint about re-releaased AA when before this you hyped" no. He hoped that as many anime TD roblox game as exist, the dev of AA can adapted to the current best "QoL" which is the unit manager, open capsule as many as you have and roll animation more efficient. imo astd is the one who actually changed the td genre astd introduced the evolving mechanic 3X speed and the gacha mechanic The only thing aa changed was adding the reroll system. I personally never liked aa just cus it’s way to pay 2 win, is super slow, and is so annoying to grind. f2p players barley evolving the new units since they need players to help them and if they’re banned from the dc they can use matchmaking which I like but what if no one is doing their specific leg stage and they can’t solo they have to spend a lot of time looking for people to help them or wait in matchmaking for a while. Astd is great since you can go to a pub and look for people there and you can get up to 8 players, tho I do admit aa has the more challenging game. But astd is incredibly f2p and easier. Both have their ups and downs but I prefer astd more I just hope astd:x won’t have trait rerolls which would change my opinion on the game completely Man I write a lot xd

as someone who never played AA before it got taken down the entire fanbase must have stockholm syndrome to be putting up with the game, I get you already have progress in AA but the models and 0 quality of life makes me want to stay on vanguards
I feel like the things we complain about in AA are the same things that make the game so compelling and feel different. The long clear times, crazy low chances, those things make the grind harder and more painful but also more rewarding when we finish the grind and get what we want. If something is easy to get we value it less than things that are hard to get.
They will never add 2x gamespeed because of the simple reason that they DO NOT respect their players time. All they care about is money. Making the game slow paste keeps players longer into the game which results in more money for them do to the prem payouts
for me rightnow av is the best, i cant stand the models and names in AA and no QoL's (im a new player) and AR kind of pisses me of. i liked it more than av at the start, but after playing it active for like 2 months i just get pissed playing it. when they drop a update it feels like they didnt test the update at all. buggy mess, stupid rates for characters or way2hard to solo without a matchmaking feature. and after trying AA and going back to AV i realized even the gameplay is kind of terrible. for some reason i didnt realize it the entire time, but AR has a delay on basically anything. placing units, when you place units it takes them 1 or 2 seconds to even start attacking, dmg numbers are delayed, hp bars delayed etc. cant replay portals, im basically watching loading screens and the lobby almost the entire time. AV feels just great gameplay wise (just like AA - unit manager and keybinds) and there is even more that AR is missing and AV has. i probably could go on for 5 minutes lmao. anyway, i hope AA gets the updates for QoL so ppl that love AA get a better game and maybe ill play it more.

as a new player i cleard every day the daily challenge, the first 2-3 days took many trys but it got better over the days, matchmaking is a bless €: since some ppl. wonder why some models got changed ansd some not ... its the simple fact that some models/names etc. are not saved
yeah waiting a year just for them to not add even simple QoL aspects is genuinely insane to me. The re-release felt like barely a months worth of work was done to the game overall. Hoping they decide to lock in and provide good things in the future.
In my opinion, the hard nature of anime adventures is what makes it so good, like, you cant consistenly afk anime adventures, so you have to be on every stage actvely doing something so then, when u finnaly got the unit, u dont feel that "oh it took some nights to get it", for me, you actually feel that your hard work meant something
That's not "hard", that's just demanding you afk play 24/7 to even have a chance to stay in pace with the game. Nearly every rare unit feels more like a relief to get instead of actual excitement. Or you could just spend your life savings to buy every meta unit you need because all of the strongest units are limited and tradable (COUGH COUGH HOMURA COUGH)

This is why ASTD is the goat man. Most important factor, NO REROLLING. Everybody’s units were abt the same dmg; (not including buffs, team leader buffs, orbs, ect.) The only p2w aspect of the game is probably 3x but it is just a bit faster than the free 2x. Also it doesn’t take 10 years just to do one raid or story. This is from the perspective of ppl playing atd before aa shutdown cus there were no QOL things like unit manger and etc but was fine by that. That is why i played astd back then and not aa.
I used to play astd, had all the meta but once I started to realize it was just stardust slop I stopped playing.if you weren’t lucky enough you would need to pay for it. I understand that AA isn’t much better (due to rerolls) but the thing about AA is that it takes some strategy. Astd could’ve been better if they just decided to put more effort into it.

Stardusts are extremely easy to grind and later units added into the game were also on gem banner while being meta. In AA you have damn near no fucking source of rerolls and you're expected to get 0.X rarity traits. It is straight up unfair compared to Astd where you just do castle when it resets
Whats a bummer on AA for me rn is the fact that the Christmas/Rerelease event doesn't even feel special at all, like its basically just like any other events they've released, just with a different theme. Summer event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Madoka event? Farm limited currency and try to get secret. Bungo Stray Dogs event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Halloween event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Its just a copy pasted event with a few extra steps, nothing new. No new relics maybe, No new rewards (other than the present hunt, but its still mid). Don't get me wrong, I love the few QoLs they've added but it feels like how AA would be if it didn't shutdown.
One year later, aa coming back without itens beside evolve materials on the shop of the event, missing qol stuff, no unit manager, an event that take almost an hour to get 3 multis and being p2w as it was... I love aa so much, so I really hope they listen the community and do some changes.
For me feelings from playing AA is just the same as year ago. That hard grinding feels better for me than extreme generosity, no thoughts about dropping the game, but obviously QOL update is really needed

Hey Nag! So, at 6:11 you dont need to open 10 at a a time; theres a glitch where if you open 10 and click the emote button (X), you can open the item tab again and open another 10. Hope this helped!
The reason for it being really grindy or time consuming is because Roblox pays you for players playtime that’s why you can’t use all the capsules or get 2x speed or 3x speed

It's the farming aspect that i love, the grinding makes the end product worth it. even for alucard i've farmed so much and gottend him few days right before the doomsday even rolled my first unique on him. Unique feels so special when its not this common.
Yeah man I love wasting 40-50 minutes just for 1-2 10 pulls for units that will be surpassed by the new ones in 2-3 weeks, while having to deal with toxic people on discord or having to carry leeches

I play awtd , anime power defense, and 100% getting on astd x when it drops. Oh and the unit models they could improve on them by taking peoples suggestions and then making original designs that look nice and only change the old units to allow them to make new versions of those units and add the model changed units to legacy banner

They need to speed up the grinding process, make the holiday events go to 30 with the same drop amount and buff the battle pass tier gain and make it go up the standards for td games is unreal now but they could use speed now aswell.

A unit manager ruins the concept of a tower defense in my opinion. because it removes the aspects of having to actually track your units and actually play the game. But on the other hand something like keybinds to upgrade a unit would (i assume) to be a reasonable update since it does affect the actual experience of managing your units
Unit manager is important especially in AA it doesn’t take away the factor where you should tactically place ur units but to find and upgrade them easier and have an overview is so good
In my opinion, i love Anime Adventures for its very hard grindy nature, it's not like any other tower defense game. It has something very unique about it, and i'm not talking about Nostalgia. Compared to other td games, i find it more enjoyable as it's not that easy to just get some gems and rerolls and instantly get unique or a mythic that just carry's you through the whole story. Sure there are p2w options, but those options are not guaranteed to give you something good and those are just options, you can also just continue enjoying the game without spending on the game. I've never been lucky in Anime adventures, never got any mythical traits or good mythics. But that urge to continue, become better at the game is just thrilling. My point is that you should just enjoy the game, how you want too. Saying a Td game takes too much time, is the same as saying "i just want the easy way and that's it". If you dont enjoy the game, that's you. But just dont use these types of excuses, as that's the point... to make you stay more in the game.
Matchmaking with a high player base is a 180 degree game changer for me. I cannot stop playing AA despite only playing it for like an hour only im the past
People like the game and it feels better because you actually feel like when you get something that its worth it and you feel the level in strength and like your time was worth it yay it need quality of life because its not optimized but clearly they are starting to put them out
I feel like the reason aa also seems much better is there's a reason to grind for the new units because they're usually actually good. Meanwhile in vanguards I still haven't evolved a single new unit since the dandadan update because they're simply just not needed in any gamemodes that have released. Which is also why'elements are basically completely useless in aa.
I have waited for aa for a year like everyone else but after it released i realized it changes nothing its still slow in story modes getting gems and mythics is super hard and the game deleted all my mythica
U Should try out anime guardians they just updated for the first time (it a huge update with Christmas event,new map and changed character designs and balanced and more) and it’s really underrated

Don't get me wrong, diavolo is not bad. But we recently had gilgamesh 💀, and dude's fucking broken. And it takes like 2 hours to get him.
might just be me but i don't think that the game is that hard i mean I'm f2p and been playing for a while I'm level 252 btw and most of the stages aren't made to scale to unique story stages and stuff like that and just a guts with godspeed all a+ can carry you in almost every single stage for raids and some legends stages you def need matchmaking but that's it and it also lets you meet more ppl. that's just me tho and also because the ways to get RR are harder the traits feel so much better to get( still no unique)

Nag, you can open multiple 10 capsules at a time, just press x as soon as the capsule starts shaking and the you can acess the bag again to Open more while you do the others
6:05 you can click the x button for emotes then click x again, then you have access to the main UI while the capsule is still opening. So you can open multiple capsules at a time. I couldn’t find a video explaining it but I hope you guys still understood what I said.

AA has had me hooked since it re-released but Im gonna be honest, they NEED to add a QOL update soon because games like Vanguards, ALS, and Reborn have features that make playing less exhausting, I.E a unit manager, auto upgrading, and making stages more fast paced so they dont take an eternity to grind resources.

the point of this video for those who upset "oh you complaint about re-releaased AA when before this you hyped" no. He hoped that as many anime TD roblox game as exist, the dev of AA can adapted to the current best "QoL" which is the unit manager, open capsule as many as you have and roll animation more efficient. On the other hand, the reason why Nag said this is because he had been playing anime TD roblox like asl, ar, av, etc who have that kind of feature which makes it all more efficient and more time-saving than the current re-released AA feature which nothing but pain lol. Not only you play it for pain, but rolling units and opening capsule is also pain in the a$$ and p2w even more than any other anime TD roblox games lol. Well. The best analogy I can make is that similar to a smartphone when there is an iphone and samsung. imo astd is the one who actually changed the td genre astd introduced the evolving mechanic 3X speed and the gacha mechanic
The only thing aa changed was adding the reroll system. I personally never liked aa just cus it’s way to pay 2 win, is super slow, and is so annoying to grind. f2p players barley evolving the new units since they need players to help them and if they’re banned from the dc they can use matchmaking which I like but what if no one is doing their specific leg stage and they can’t solo they have to spend a lot of time looking for people to help them or wait in matchmaking for a while. Astd is great since you can go to a pub and look for people there and you can get up to 8 players, tho I do admit aa has the more challenging game. But astd is incredibly f2p and easier.
Both have their ups and downs but I prefer astd more I just hope astd:x won’t have trait rerolls which would change my opinion on the game completely

I feel like the things we complain about in AA are the same things that make the game so compelling and feel different. The long clear times, crazy low chances, those things make the grind harder and more painful but also more rewarding when we finish the grind and get what we want. If something is easy to get we value it less than things that are hard to get.

They will never add 2x gamespeed because of the simple reason that they DO NOT respect their players time. All they care about is money. Making the game slow paste keeps players longer into the game which results in more money for them do to the prem payouts
for me rightnow av is the best, i cant stand the models and names in AA and no QoL's (im a new player) and AR kind of pisses me of. i liked it more than av at the start, but after playing it active for like 2 months i just get pissed playing it. when they drop a update it feels like they didnt test the update at all. buggy mess, stupid rates for characters or way2hard to solo without a matchmaking feature. and after trying AA and going back to AV i realized even the gameplay is kind of terrible. for some reason i didnt realize it the entire time, but AR has a delay on basically anything. placing units, when you place units it takes them 1 or 2 seconds to even start attacking, dmg numbers are delayed, hp bars delayed etc. cant replay portals, im basically watching loading screens and the lobby almost the entire time. AV feels just great gameplay wise (just like AA - unit manager and keybinds) and there is even more that AR is missing and AV has. i probably could go on for 5 minutes lmao. anyway, i hope AA gets the updates for QoL so ppl that love AA get a better game and maybe ill play it more.

Coming back to AA after experiencing AV's smooth and mostly lag-free gameplay is something I never knew I missed until now.
Because it is, Anime Reborn is also smoother in terms of it. Additionally, its more F2P friendly compared to this pay to win behemoth of a game.

This is why ASTD is the goat man. Most important factor, NO REROLLING. Everybody’s units were abt the same dmg; (not including buffs, team leader buffs, orbs, ect.) The only p2w aspect of the game is probably 3x but it is just a bit faster than the free 2x. Also it doesn’t take 10 years just to do one raid or story. This is from the perspective of ppl playing atd before aa shutdown cus there were no QOL things like unit manger and etc but was fine by that. That is why i played astd back then and not aa.
I used to play astd, had all the meta but once I started to realize it was just stardust slop I stopped playing.if you weren’t lucky enough you would need to pay for it. I understand that AA isn’t much better (due to rerolls) but the thing about AA is that it takes some strategy. Astd could’ve been better if they just decided to put more effort into it.

Stardusts are extremely easy to grind and later units added into the game were also on gem banner while being meta. In AA you have damn near no fucking source of rerolls and you're expected to get 0.X rarity traits. It is straight up unfair compared to Astd where you just do castle when it resets
Whats a bummer on AA for me rn is the fact that the Christmas/Rerelease event doesn't even feel special at all, like its basically just like any other events they've released, just with a different theme. Summer event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Madoka event? Farm limited currency and try to get secret. Bungo Stray Dogs event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Halloween event? Farm limited currency and farm for secret. Its just a copy pasted event with a few extra steps, nothing new. No new relics maybe, No new rewards (other than the present hunt, but its still mid). Don't get me wrong, I love the few QoLs they've added but it feels like how AA would be if it didn't shutdown.
One year later, aa coming back without itens beside evolve materials on the shop of the event, missing qol stuff, no unit manager, an event that take almost an hour to get 3 multis and being p2w as it was... I love aa so much, so I really hope they listen the community and do some changes.

For me feelings from playing AA is just the same as year ago. That hard grinding feels better for me than extreme generosity, no thoughts about dropping the game, but obviously QOL update is really needed

The reason for it being really grindy or time consuming is because Roblox pays you for players playtime that’s why you can’t use all the capsules or get 2x speed or 3x speed
It would take, on average, 12 million event currency to get aizen. You get around 4k a run, 40min per run, which is around 83 straight days of running the event to “get” aizen.

It's the farming aspect that i love, the grinding makes the end product worth it. even for alucard i've farmed so much and gottend him few days right before the doomsday even rolled my first unique on him. Unique feels so special when its not this common.

A unit manager ruins the concept of a tower defense in my opinion. because it removes the aspects of having to actually track your units and actually play the game. But on the other hand something like keybinds to upgrade a unit would (i assume) to be a reasonable update since it does affect the actual experience of managing your units
Unit manager is important especially in AA it doesn’t take away the factor where you should tactically place ur units but to find and upgrade them easier and have an overview is so good

In my opinion, i love Anime Adventures for its very hard grindy nature, it's not like any other tower defense game. It has something very unique about it, and i'm not talking about Nostalgia. Compared to other td games, i find it more enjoyable as it's not that easy to just get some gems and rerolls and instantly get unique or a mythic that just carry's you through the whole story. Sure there are p2w options, but those options are not guaranteed to give you something good and those are just options, you can also just continue enjoying the game without spending on the game. I've never been lucky in Anime adventures, never got any mythical traits or good mythics. But that urge to continue, become better at the game is just thrilling.
My point is that you should just enjoy the game, how you want too. Saying a Td game takes too much time, is the same as saying "i just want the easy way and that's it". If you dont enjoy the game, that's you. But just dont use these types of excuses, as that's the point... to make you stay more in the game.
Matchmaking with a high player base is a 180 degree game changer for me. I cannot stop playing AA despite only playing it for like an hour only im the past
People like the game and it feels better because you actually feel like when you get something that its worth it and you feel the level in strength and like your time was worth it yay it need quality of life because its not optimized but clearly they are starting to put them out

I feel like the reason aa also seems much better is there's a reason to grind for the new units because they're usually actually good. Meanwhile in vanguards I still haven't evolved a single new unit since the dandadan update because they're simply just not needed in any gamemodes that have released. Which is also why'elements are basically completely useless in aa.
Metal Knight is best example of meta for months and months, just used him in new event and still does good dmg
You can daily get RRS from the daily quest in rain village, then going to buy the rrs next to the summons, this way you can grind rrs every day
I have been never gotten used to the new anime tf features I have always been stuck at the aa level of it this just feels right again

Yo nag there is a way you can open multiple amount of capsules buy pressing your emote bind staright after opening 10. Hope this helps!
Heavy on overlord legend stages, the units take SO LONG to evolve
I feel like it’s the difficulty of the game that makes it so much better because of how long the grind is just to get the best unit of the update

I have waited for aa for a year like everyone else but after it released i realized it changes nothing its still slow in story modes getting gems and mythics is super hard and the game deleted all my mythica
U Should try out anime guardians they just updated for the first time (it a huge update with Christmas event,new map and changed character designs and balanced and more) and it’s really underrated

I don't know how valid that is. Diavolo in AV is a premier example of why this may not be true, and it all just boils down to preference, bias and nostalgia.
@@manujmudgal9878 Exactly, I have diavolo myself, and the time I spent getting him is questionable (I macro'd lol). But imaging trying to get something that ridiculous manually. Don't get me wrong, diavolo is not bad. But we recently had gilgamesh 💀, and dude's fucking broken. And it takes like 2 hours to get him.

might just be me but i don't think that the game is that hard i mean I'm f2p and been playing for a while I'm level 252 btw and most of the stages aren't made to scale to unique story stages and stuff like that and just a guts with godspeed all a+ can carry you in almost every single stage for raids and some legends stages you def need matchmaking but that's it and it also lets you meet more ppl. that's just me tho and also because the ways to get RR are harder the traits feel so much better to get( still no unique)

Everyone is complaining that the game is slow and hard but i like that it's hard makes it so you have content all the time plus since the games take longer time then you can do something in the meanwhile and placing sometimes
Nag, you can open multiple 10 capsules at a time, just press x as soon as the capsule starts shaking and the you can acess the bag again to Open more while you do the others
I did all of my daily’s challenges with matchmaking and so far its been good.
6:05 you can click the x button for emotes then click x again, then you have access to the main UI while the capsule is still opening. So you can open multiple capsules at a time. I couldn’t find a video explaining it but I hope you guys still understood what I said.
daily challenges rn got much much easier than they were before
