How could you possibly have not absorbed the very critical information that *kittens grow up in a single day?* Even if you're just speed reading, that feels like something you remember because it was worded in a jokey way because it's obviously ridiculous for a kitten to grow to adulthood in a single day. Also, why would he not move the camera to the right side? There's so much info on the left being blocked.
I'm mostly convinced he acts slow on purpose to bait stream & comment engagement, it's overwhelmingly consistent across any game he plays or media he watches. CaseOh and AsmonGold do the same thing, you can't tell me these people can make monolithic brands out of themselves and play videogames as a job, but then simultaneously fumble over concepts that the 90-IQ range have no trouble with. They want everyone to finish their sentences for them, because it gives the viewers a dopamine rush to compete in an explanation or feel clever for "knowing better". Smart people are intrinsically threatening, while dumb are disarming and agreeable. Which character is easier to market?
Charlie's mind is truly fascinating. Guy really refused to add a ranger to his party in favor of adding a cleric instead then proceeded to use the cleric for dps.
That's bad, but what's 10x worse is him ending at least 6 turns with the cleric without healing OR attacking. The free heal/attack standard move that doesn't cost any mana. He could've easily beat the rat clean and pushed onto sewers with everybody at good health if he had been healing all those turns he wasted. He rushes so much and just doesn't stop to ever think these days.

A few good tips for the game, you should know ALWAYS hover over something if you want to know any information about a Tile or a Unit or your Icons like stats , these are very important base mechanics. 1. You can turn on 'double click on empty tiles' in options, theres a lot of good thing in there like turning breeding options to safe, normal and random (safe version have fun goofy animations probably even better than normal) 2. You can make your cat face in any direction if you right click a tile you want to face. 3. Ctrl or middle mouse click for tactical view 4. Breeding cats are important, who you breed matters because the baby has a chance to inherit abilities and base stats from their parents. Also you can seperate your cats thats why you have the attic now, you can select a few to breed or seperate the bad ones. 5. Upgrade Tink because he helps give you important informations for min maxxing your gameplay. P.S. - Edmund and bunch of creators has been streaming a lot of their game since a year ago, you can learn some neat tips and seeing starter runs for the game. Enjoy and hope you have a good experience with the game.
It makes me so happy to see people enjoying an Edmund McMillan game. I know logically TBOI is extremely popular and most people have played it, but I still can't help but feel proud of him for Mewgenics doing so well

Even when oneyplays played with Edmund who was reminding him of the tutorial text 3x in a row, he still couldn't read or retain. This game breaks the minds of anyone streaming/ recording it it seems.
I love the big resurgence of turn-based game for mainstream games over the last couple years A decade ago we had to endure hundreds of articles/interviews saying how out dated it was and saying how gaming had just move past these designs, even though always had an audience How far we've come

The problem isn't picking a cleric. *It's not reading any of his cats abilities* and giving the Cleric role to a cat with a Wizard/Ranger ability etc.
