Fellow Melbourne Aussie here. Love your work. I have just purchased the colour catalogue, it rocks. Ty for making our work as artists so so much easier 🙂

Loved this video, so sorry I missed the live stream. I am catching up on your fabulous videos while waiting for my cube(s) to arrive! This was my birthday present to my self. Thank you Sarah and Shane !
This was the first live stream that I attended… so much fun! And you mentioned my name in the beginning! I felt so special. ♥️ Thank you! 😊 I did try coloring along but, I was a bit slow. Still… I learned a lot and had a great time. And… I finally got to use my FC polychromos! Already looking forward to the next stream. Although, I’ll probably bug you ahead of time to find out which pencils you are going to use so I can get them all sharpened and ready. 🤓 Lol. See you on your next video!
Great live stream love your challanges. Watching you colour in or Drawing so happy i found your channel As being an older adult that likes to colour in doing that since i was 6 years old was a huge hobby . But i an no means fantastic ,but love your Tips etc 😜 finished result was Fantastic
I hope you took some great pictures of all these pencils piled together and organized by color!! 🙏 They would make amazing puzzles!! 🌈🌈 The footage from all this testing could create weekly videos for the month of December showing just the blending or breakability or other category in each video!! 😍 Not to mention create an incredible pencil comparison guide book!😃 What a task you undertook! 🤪 You did an incredibly awesome detailed job!! 👏
I love your challenges and you encouraged yourself to paint a face around realism 👏 I like to see your process because that way I learn something new every day 🥰 Imagining what the colors do layer by layer is beautiful and the magic is always in the color mixtures and the pressure you exert with the pencil 💫 I hope that in the future you will try watercolor pencils 🙂
I’m watching this a year after you released it. The cost of living in 🇦🇺 is getting so much harder…so for entertainment, I’ve embarked on learning how to colour. Using very cheap pencils until I I can afford a more premium brand. I’m really enjoying, watching and learning from you. Thank you ✨
Got my five favorite Kerby Rosanes book delivered and my prismacolors sharpened. 👌🤞🤞🤞 I'm ready to fill a book myself. Started in the Worlds Within Worlds volume. My boyfriend told me he'll miss me for the next 20 years... (Jokingly he is my biggest supporter and loves seeing how things come together!)
I just realized, you did this live about a week after my birthday! Greatest late birthday present ever. Your work is amazing, and you've inspired me to do more work with colored pencils
Hi Sarah Thank you for always sharing!🤗 Just a little tip on your iPhone screen to stay on, go onto Settings, Display & Brightness & then to Auto-lock & from there change it to never. It will then stay on continuously but don’t forget to change it when you’re done. My 10year old & I enjoy watching your videos🤗🇿🇦
it's bizarre to me that you frame this as a way to just color pages when you're legitimately just giving really solid art advice? I have only watched a few of your videos but they're mainly about coloring pages and you're very clearly an artist in your own right even if you're not drawing the pages you're coloring! Looking at reference, color matching, these are fantastic ways to color generally, your own drawings or others', fantastic research! Great info!
This sounded kind of mean on second read, I just mean I hope you classify yourself as an artist vs. simply one who colors coloring pages! I could totally be off base ofc!
Not being able to fill the tooth of the paper of Hanna's books is why I only buy the dutch versions. Because they have smooth paper and less white showing. Another tip I saw Barbara colour do to fill in the white is to use inktense on top! It will fill in the blanks.
Its so hard to see and my eyes hurt from trying to focus but when it went to the close up i was so glad and wish it was like that the whole time٫ i can actually see the details in the face and hair now٫ thank you for changing the camera angle and can we have more vids in close up so we can see all the little details your adding instead of just seeing the shadows ❤️
Was going to watch it live, but ended up sleeping instead. However, it was great listening to you while coloring something else. I have received several of the coloring books by Maria Trolle as gifts, filled with beautiful botanical and sometimes a little magical pictures, and lately I've been wanting to try out the bokeh effect. So I watched your video this morning from when you did the bokeh background on the Toy Story page, then came here for company and background noise while coloring. Now I've done the lights, and I've started coloring in the background color to be around them. I don't often comment on videos, but after I learned how much it does for the algorithm to hit like, I've tried to like all the videos I enjoy, and I really like listening to you talk about art and watching you color. Keep up the good work! Oh, and tell Shane he is definitely artistic, too! I was so sad when I heard him say no to the question of whether he did art, because photo, video, and editing is definitely its own kind of art. Somehow so many people seem to think that if you can't put it in a frame, it's not art, and I really wish people would stop saying about themselves - often in a somewhat low or sad voice - that they don't do art when they have this amazing, clearly artistic talent going for them. Setting up a whole new camera angle during a live stream without interrupting the video is amazing!
Hello ma'am, big fan for your work!!! Just a query, what is the maximum number of pencils I should try before finding the 'one'? Is 72 colours actually needed for bringing out the form and finish that you have??
40 colors is plenty, IF you’re using good paper. Then you can mix a lot of the other colors anyway. I like the bigger range of colors, but it’s definitely not essential
I was wondering does anyone know of a good coloring book for adults that has mixed media or watercolor paper? I have been looking forever and quite disappointed with the ones that I thought had watercolor paper so any tidbit information would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Really funny that you and I do hair the same! I usually just wing it on the skin as well, but I might have to try your trick of finding a reference image just to see if I can improve coloring skin more because I know I don't do the best at that. Edit: the Prismacolor blue that everyone hates I'm fairly certain is Electric Blue. I personally love the color and although it is a bit harder and maybe even a little scratchy compared to the other pencils, I still like it. It just feels more like their neons than the majority of their other colored pencil colors. I really don't think its that big of a deal and I think some people are being dramatic about it.
What pencil sharpener do you use? Your pencils tips are greats. I like your videos, coloring is not just for children, it has therapeutic virtues for adults too. Thanks.
It’s quite funny that until I divorced my ex husband and got re married my name was Sarah Ann Clark, my son is a Clark but my name now is Sarah Ann Littler and I’m mainly called Ann. I enjoy watching you and I have been colouring and drawing since I was 3 and I’m now 65 but it needs to get better! We all have room for improvement don’t you think? Hugs x Ann x
I’m a professional color pencil artists and I thought it would be a waste of time to color a coloring book. But I bought one anyway. I find there’s not as much pressure to do a really perfect job (since my own work is photo realistic). I’ve only colored a few pages but it was fun.
I'm back to watch this again lol! And I just wanna say that I love your personality, you're such a sweetheart! And I still think you should paint the wall behind you! You could do a video where you paint the flowers and stuff on the wall! Wink wink! Much love! Oh and btw, my middle name is Renee' as well, we just spell it differently!
Love this stream - I have a question: Do you intend to make a sheet like the ones you used on your live and sell? It is so smart that I wanna have one for at least my prismacolours, but - of course - for other brands as well. =))
Hi Sarah, we love your videos/art, if you and yours ever make it to Abilene TX we would definitely entertain ya’ll for as long as you needed. Be well and happy and healthy from the states. P.S. lil miss asked for a black cat with blue eyes picture, if it doesn’t happen she’ll get over it lol. Love ya girl thank you for all the entertainment, found you from Jazza btw.
