Despite what the other shitty comments are saying, I really like NL playing this, fun gameplay that's easy to watch, pog dodges, and fun banter
I honestly take this, it's either this or episode 1000 of sap or episode 5000 of binding or listening to the boring people nl plays with in lethal company. It's been months since I've watched the last nl video.

Very fun game to watch. NL is pretty good at it even playing half distracted, if he keeps playing he'll slowly pick up what is good or not just by trying stuff blind. Like a fresh Isaac, all the discovery and variety for the potential for as much playtime as he feels like.

Tiny Rogues is what would have happened if NL tried to learn Isaac after he had a kid. There is a lot of reading and complex stuff that he just couldn’t be bothered to learn 😂
Nobody is watching NL to just see him silently read through endless bits of text just so he can a little bit better at a game.
Dude skips the rewards in half the rooms, no reading can help at this point
To be fair, you could totally beat the game without reading anything. One good weapon could make the rest of the run so free, things dont quite synergize like isaac

Taking a suboptimal reward in the first few floors won’t hurt your run since it’s typically bad items but it can push your build into a weird direction if you take items with specific status effects that you aren’t building around
(the more likely to get items based on what you have system)

Tyler is a RUclipsr/streamer who is actually a fan of yours! His channel name is Olexa and he’s mainly a rougelike channel (sometimes he plays Minecraft and other games). I can definitely see your influence on him as he kinda talks like you. I think it’s endearing. I think you’d like the guy
I'm really enjoying this game since the update but I do feel like they have maybe 15-20 more keywords and status effects than they needed. Considering so many of them do almost the same thing. ig you can stack them?

He should pay less attention to all comments, because him constantly glancing and debating chat is annoying and making him worse at games.
I don't think he actually decides what games to play based on youtube comments. Twitch chat maybe since it's there in his face all the time, but it seems like in general he just does whatever he wants. Occasionally there's a bit about commenters but like any "guy on the internet" bit there's no reason to assume it's based on any real interactions.

Man. I'd love it too but realistically it would BUTCHER him unless he stopped at the very first ending or something.
That game does not really fuck around with the puzzles and secrets. It demands a lot of the player and I don't think it'd mesh that well with the style of stream NL does normally.
Yeah it's insane but also one of the grindiest games I've ever played (no hate)
As much as I'd love to see more episodes of this game I just don't see NL mustering up the bare minimum attention span required to learn more than one mechanic 💀

the rogues may be tiny but... well you know the rest
i disagree with the sugar take. it feels more like a right leaning bell curve. adding half a tea spoon of sugar to tea feels like there is no sugar at all, while optimum taste +- half a tea spoon has a huge range of how sugary it tastes.
also applies to salt for potatoes. 2 tea spoons = nothing. 3 tea spoons= perfect. 4 tea spoons = meal is ruined
(edited table spoons for tea spoons)
3 TABLESPOONS? Friend, I recommend you should try lowering your salt intake. From a quick Google, for lighter people, 3tbsp is approaching the lethal dose of salt. Unless you're getting tablespoons and teaspoons mixed up, which is understandable - even then, I'd say that over time our taste accumulates to the amount of salt we have in food. I personally rarely put over half a teaspoon of salt in any food.
@@JrTheDragon01 oh yeah i meant tea spoons :) also the salt goes into the water, not on the potatoes directly.
for oven potatoes i use around 1 1/2 tea spoons.
oh yeah and i should add that i cook for four people.
Can’t wait for the next 600 hours of tiny rogues. I used to be a MASSIVE NL Isaac dribbler, and I can’t believe he’s finally dragging me back in with some more pog dodges and cracked commentary
I’ve watched each vid and I’ve gotta agree with NL on this one. Game is king of yapping and looks like the kid in Jurassic park tried to make Isaac. Just doesn’t do it for me personally

We have sooo many banter games already. This would be way more enjoyable if NL interacted with the toy instead of kinda resting his hands on it idly. Feels like it's been months since NL was trying and figuring stuff out, like Cobalt Core, Balatro, Backpack Battles

he played it because a bunch of chatters told him too, and because he enjoys switching it up for the stream. but likely he won't stick with it very long
He's interested in playing the game for the fun action and variety it has, he's not interested in spending 2 hours per run so he can read every bit of text when he can do exactly what he said and play it as a vibe based game.
