I am new here and watched your video for the first time. I enjoyed watching very much that I would want to watch more. So I sub. Fully watched. Keep up your great work.
@@SolentShips having worked in the container haulage industry, I can tell you that you’d be surprised at what leaves. Primary exports are cardboard/paper and scrap metal. We had those three as main reloads on MSC work. Scrap tyres are another export along with waste derived from household/commercial, mainly used in power plants and cement works across Europe. We do export finished products too like machinery and other items manufactured by specialist companies. Craft beers/spirits are exported to. There’s quite a lot that goes in containers that the public wouldn’t be aware of. Hope this gives you some perspective 👍🏼
@@davehowe4714 Many thanks shipmate. That's great to hear about all those exports. I know we do export lots of items, I was just having a bit of fun. Interesting to hear about the tyres.
Captain, if you are going to speed up the end of the video, you really need Benny Hill's music as well! Another nice Video, I don't think you have done a bad one. A great morning to have the drone out, but I guess it was a cold one as well to be out videoing in. We still have snow on the ground up here in the land that time forgot - Lincolnshire.
I know what you mean about the Benny Hill music shipmate. We are a bit soft here in the South, just a hint of slush on the ground. Hope to bring more and better videos.
What a delightfully dry, thoroughly British commentary. A joy to hear I was sorry the seven minutes expired.
Many thanks Shipmate. Glad you enjoyed the film.
a stuck ship got me here out of curiosity
Hope you enjoyed it shipmate.
This one and 2 others are anchored off Torquay Devon at the moment

Many thanks shipmate. More to come, when weather and marine traffic allow.
Some fantastic shots there ship mate. The clouds really make the shot. I laughed at "What would we export from the UK".
The clouds were good that day. I'll have to investigate what the UK exports.

Thanks shipmate.
a voice like the best maple syrup ...... :)
But NO Richard Burton!
Thanks shipmate. No, not Richard Burton, I don't come from Wales.
the shortage of empty containers is affecting the logistics branche more and more - they try to get hold on every unit they can get....
Indeed shipmate, I hear it's a big problem.
top Video
intresting how when the ship carries less containers the hull is further out the water, looks abit unusual ⛴
You are absolutely right shipmate, not often we see them so high out of the water.
Great video good commentry
Thanks very much shipmate

Ahoy there!
Ahoy shipmate
Are the containers on the ship empty? Or if the ship on its way to rotterdam to unload?
I don't actually know shipmate, but I would imagine some are empty
Is the number of "m"s in Hmmmmmmmmmmm proportional to the length of the ship?
I think that makes it about 40m an m, for a 400m ship
