Disconnecting your battery cable, then turning your key in the ignition to remove residual power from the system will likely reset your climate control switches and interior fan to working order. My climate control and fan stopped working after I jump started the Cruze, now working again. I give all praise to Jesus Christ for bringing me to peace by following the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Thank you so much my guy. I have a 2014 cruze with 106,000 miles. I came out in the morning to start the car and i could not change the ac/heat settings or turn on the heated seats. I purchsed the climate control switch from rockauto for $150 and followed your very good instruction. Fixed it! Thank you very much!
good video! location and undoing the clips is sometimes the worst part. I have the dealer service guide but it doesn't even show the DTC Bo48D-06. I need to find the output to the heater and check voltage and continuity. Thanks for a good video
hi @ Auto Repair Guys, I have a cruze 2011 and the air is stuck in hot air all the time i already change the HVAC actuator and does not work can you believe that the problem will be the heater control or maybe the BCM?
One of these Chevy Cruzes have a vacuum round plunger kind of like what's inside the valve cover the PCV valve plunger round thing that dry cracks inside the valve cover and causes problems there is another one of those round air vacuum plastic plungers looks like an accordion you know with all the Rail lines in a flexible tube look but it's a round actual diaphragm plunger... it's in the top Dash cubby hole up up above the radio... all I've got is that cubby bucket thingy above the radio pop that off and down inside the dashboard is a vacuum plunger for the heater
You said the white wire leads to airbags and you must unplug terminal to battery. Is it positive or negative? And you said for at least 1 hour before working on climate control. Specify for when and what to unplug and when to plug back in.
My air was staying on and none of the switches were working! I was told to take the fuse out and it would stop it! And it did but now it's not blowing or anything at all all! Is this the problem??

Did you unplug positive terminal on car for 1 hour. He wasn't clear about the air bag and battery terminal
@@stevenpowell3809 I unplugged the negative battery terminal for 1 hour. Better safe than sorry.

My heater keeps blowing after i turn the switch off. This happens randomly. Would this be a bad climate control switch.
Will this actually stop the heater from working unpluing and reassembling?

is there a way to just replace the silver cover on one of the knobs?
Make sure you replace the unit with the correct fan speed on the dial, as the earlier models only had four fan speed modes (this one has 6).
Do I need to reprogram the module?
How to disconnect white tab for passenger airbag? You explained the others
Thank very much for your help but i have a question, how can I remove the two reel of AC panel?

My chevy Cruze only blows hot air and heating controls not working don’t know what it is
It might be the climate control part mine stopped working after I got water on it.
How to reprog env?
Unplugged positive wire for ten minutes and put key in ignition Without starting it and boom it worked!
Thanks. You made me saved a lot time and some money
Could you please tell me if you unplugged the positive wire from the battery or from the climat control unit. Many thanks
Tired that it didn't work
Thank you, your comment just saved me a lot of hassle :)
The one that connects to the battery?
