I loved what Kari had to say - so true. And whenever I go to Harvard Square, which is not often enough, I seem to end up at Grendel's Den. I love the casual and friendly atmosphere. On another note, I recently learned that my parent's met at a place called McBride's in 1943, which I think is now the Curious George store. Thanks for the video.

It ain't like it used to be because it keeps getting more corporate. Maybe it was a little rougher when the pit punks were hanging by the T Station, but there variety of people during that time was incredible. From Krishna's to vast array of street performers, the place had a lot more character before the big national chains arrived. - I'm sure it was a lot of fun in the 60's, 70's as well. The world just keeps getting more homogenized. Harvard Square along with it.
