    Just finish cooking this dish,exactly the way you have it in the tutorial...I opened my front door while cooking and the aroma spread through the area......People walking past and saying very loud "Hey Something Smells Good"...I must say that it tastes good as well...The ketchup adds a good flavor as well....Healthy dish also...Good fiber...

    Dear Mr. Samuels,
    "Different but familiar." You have reminded of a chicken dish a friend prepared for me in St. Lucia a dozen years ago--among the most memorable chicken meals of my life! In addition to appreciating your (to my knowledge) innovative methods, I especially appreciated your voice. I hope you sing--often, like the birds I'm hearing in your video..

    NEW SUB HERE …
    I’ve been looking for TUMERIC recipes & found you by accident.
    My Dr who is from India has recommended I use a good brand of TUMERIC for some health conditions, he did specifically mention it would be great in chicken soup, he also told me to use whole chicken parts with the bones in it.
    You had me doubtful in the beginning of your video, but the way you ate that chicken, my stomach started to growl OMG …. be sure to let the market lady know, we thank her & appreciate you for this video 🙏🏽 blessings to you.
    Checking ingredients & buying chicken 😋 yummy .. Thank you for sharing.

    This looks good and I must try it. Miquel, I think most of your recipes are healing. I noticed by eating these meals, I have less pain and tension in my body (I work in manufacturing and have been dealing with pain in my knees, back, neck and shoulders). I also have more energy. So far we (my mom and I) have made your brown stew turkey necks, the delicious spam, stew beef and your sardine scrambled omelette. Using all those herbs and vegetables helps heal the body. Thanks for continuing to create awesome meals:)

    • @JamaicanFoodRecipes

      Karen Fitzgerald If you are abroad, check Indian, Chinese, Japanese markets, I do not think the Caribbean Stores will have turmeric roots. One viewer said his order in coming and he is in Britain. So google it, maybe you can order from the south somewhere...Check health Stores they might have turmeric roots..
      In Jamaica, turmeric root is becoming popular, it is selling everywhere. From my experience it is good. I cut turmeric roots very fine with garlic and ginger, and I drink it down with water. I do not take pills or tablets.
      PLEASE NOTE: TURMERIC IS BLOOD THINNER, So if using to medicate use a piece half the size of your finger, take 7 days of the week, twice a day. Once in the morning and at night before bed. You will feel better!
      After that take no more, allow your body's immune system to strengthen...

      yes , I know where I live I will not find, maybe London ,or abroad I will find , thank you for your information you are very kind and helpful,..I also do not take medication or tablets ..and only use herbal ..once again ty and will look forward to watching more of your cooking shows ..your fan.

    I have some fresh tumeric in the house now. Yo Rasta, Curry is actually a broad word. But for us Jamaicans. Its NOT just tumeric. Its tumeric,coriander, fenugreek and cumin. And if you take a trip to India or Thailand it gets even more complex with ginger, garlic, asafoetida, fennel seed, caraway, cinnamon, clove, mustard seed, green cardamom, black cardamom, nutmeg etc. Yuh nuh see nuttin yet til the dread take a trip to India. Then yuh wi see "Curry". Not even scientist can figure out whe inna Indian Curry to raas.

    • @JamaicanFoodRecipes
      @JamaicanFoodRecipes  8 лет назад +4

      +Pretty Nikki I know it's not pleasant to eat and talk, but it's kinda my thing with these videos. I want people see that I am eating and enjoying the foods I cooked. I want them to have a sense of deliciousness through me eating. It's OK, I worked with people and I do business why I learned to have a kind spirit. I am human, I wanted to write something bad, which I did but I deleted it, because I knew better and you are pretty Nikki...And see you wrote something nice. We are both learning. You should starting being nice to people that are not with you, and see what would happen..I am going practice it more too.

    • @prettynikki3667
      @prettynikki3667 8 лет назад +2

      That was very well said and I learned, I actually made your dish that night and it was amazing, but your voice was soothing, i can't wait to try more of your meals, now you taught me something, I usually am the one at work who teaches people how to never change your spirit for someone rude,but you actually taught me, sometimes instead of teaching let someone teach you, i really have a very kind spirit but am quick to get upset, something I must work on, thanks for calling me pretty, I'm honored. I am glad to have been taught a lesson when I was rude, that's why they say practice what you preach! I know better, What a experience I will take with me forever, you encounter people in your life for a reason, and I thank you! You showed me!!!, You changed someone's life today just by showing your true spirit what an amazing spirit you have!
