Lol and of course it’s going to be at least 100 degrees by this afternoon! I’m so done with the summers here! Lol Hope everyone dealing with this heat wherever you are is staying hydrated, taking care of yourselves and your makeup lasts!
I'm over 60 and find that instead of foundation, concealer, contour and bronzer in layers and blending, I just use 2 shades of my favourite foundation. One is lighter than my skin and one is darker. You can mix and blend to find what you need. I use the lighter one straight as under eye and highlighter and the darker one straight as contour and/or bronzer. For the remainder of my face I mix the two on my palette and create the colour I need for the amount of tan I have. No heavy layers. No extra expenses. No guessing if you have a match. I love your videos and really look forward to them. Thanks for all your work.
Oh my gosh I need this video. My makeup has been melting off my face lol. I literally put my make up on at five in the morning and it does not come off until the evening so what’s 24 o’clock hits at work it’s just does not look very good.
Hey Z try the LA Girl mix-in pigments to correct your foundations that are the wrong shade!! They have a color to correct ANY problem- white to lighten if your foundation is too dark, blue if it's too warm/orange, etc. They are wonderful, affordable, and don't change the consistency or finish of your foundation AT ALL! I'm in LOVE!! 😍😂
In summertime I live in Loreal'a True Match pressed powder worn as powder foundation. The coverage is just that good. This year I am adding Neutrogena's clarifying pressed powder in the color Chestnut as bronzer. Great wear from both!!

I stsrted using the Catrice waterproof pressed powder because of you showing it lasted after being out in a Tropical storm here in Florida.. I now love the Catrice foundation, concealer,blushes and the powder. Their all great to wear in this Florida humidity.. I'm slays looking for sweatproof waterproof products. No😊w I have a few others to try, thank you..
Hi Zabrena, what Ive been doing to give my makeup a longer lasting punch for the hot weather is layering. I will start with a tinted moisturizer and add a long wear foundation where I need it. Then a cream or stick blush and go over it with a similar powder blush, same with bronzer, then set it with a talc free setting powder from Covergirl finish with setting spray. Love from NYC xog

Revelon colorstay. I live in SC oily skin working 10 hour shifts makeup was still going strong . I pair with catrice waterproof concealer. I do powder midway. But the makeup ain’t budging!

I like Ruby Kisses setting spray. I wear it with the waterproof Catrice setting powder in the pool or on really hot days with foundations or on rainy days. I do the sandwich technique with setting spray and powder too!

I found one cream blush that I really like is the LYS brand from Sephora the shade is Self-Love it's not the shade I wanted at first but it's really lovely I have dark brown hair and light/light medium skin tone it's more intense but by the time I've powdered over it's really pretty and stays.Sometimes I will spray a brush with setting spray and sweep over my face and that definitely helps my makeup last.
Have you tried the Essence Double Trouble waterproof mascara yet? I have yet for it to flake or smudge on me, but it doesn't get more than 8 hours of wear out of me. Just curious. Physicians formula butter believe it foundation is my #1 for summer. Hydrating, full coverage, completely sweatproof and waterproof! I wear it nearly every day in summer. Crappy shades though. But my god its amazing
About face’s matte fluid eye paints are my holy grail for multi-purpose, sweat proof makeup. I use them as blush and eyeshadow bases too. They also have matte lip paints and fractal eye paints. I prefer the matte eye paint overall. They have all different colors! Bold and nudes alike! For nudes, the shades “smell after rain” and “freaked” are my favorites. For bold, any of their blue and purple shades I can highly recommend! Also the coral shade! 😆Halsey created the products to last onstage under those hot lights, so you know it’ll withstand heat and humidity (I can vouch for this living in the midwest in what feels like a sauna during July/August!). Tips: I like using a dab and blending it out for everyday looks (any of the colors( - You can blend them with a brush…you can take the shades light transcending and la zona Rosa and put a bit on your cheeks for a summer proof blush. I’ve been using just a dab on my lips and blending outward, then letting it set and topping it with a gloss or balm. Incredible! I mean these things won an allure award for a reason!
Denessa Myrick Balm with upsalite. Manhattan summer subway heat and I’m sweating everywhere but my face still looks mate you can put on top of foundation and under. I usually use the Goop tinted sun block and just that and setting spray coola with sunblock and it’s medium coverage. When I get home at night it’s still there and I look the same as when I left the house
I work outside in the direct sun high of 95 degrees at most and struggle to wear makeup. I want to but haven't found makeup that stays thru sweat in those heats. Wish I had the patience to test all of my makeup for wear test. I do have the Revlon candid foundation so that's good to know it lasts its been a min since I used up my open one so I may open the last one I have for this summer.
I also work in a kitchen and the heat is unreal. I don't wear liquid foundation but I wear powder. The 2 that I love are the essence powder foundation that she mentioned and the L'Oreal infallible powder foundation. I use the hard candy long wear matte setting spray. Usually I don't have an issue with my makeup going anywhere! (Oh and cream blush!!!!)
I agree i love the candid it's one of the best ones i use it for a concealer as well . I wanted to share with u my Sister n Law is ur twin except her eyes r light green same color red hair but she does highlight her hair and the only difference is her hair is straight u both have beautiful skin it's crazy u two could pass for sisters .
I really need that aloe vera primer video. I just tried it but it peels on me. But it does feel great on the face in the summer heat. Maybe the SPF under it is a problem

I love the NYX cream blush in Baby Doll (mauve) and the Flower beauty blush stick (peach). They last through all the sweat and humidity while working outside on the farm.

Has anyone else found it hard to color match the catrice true skin? I'm a pale princess but even on my skin, I feel like the foundation lightens to a crazy degree if I stay in the pale range.
More than half the Brands you used are not available to me in my Province in Canada it’s so frustrating that so many good Drugstore Brands are not available in Canada period, we used to have Catrice but it was discontinued to bring in Jason Wu and that was a big mistake I’ve tried so much from his line and was extremely disappointed I’d much rather have Catrice back , Profusion you can find if lucky around Christmas with their box sets they put out for the Holiday unfortunately none of the great holy grail products I found a few brush sets and those brushes stand up against Sigma they’re great brushes at a amazingly affordable price. J Cat, Moria, Joah as well as about 35 other Brands from the Drugstore that are not sold in CDA at all as for the Brands that are available we do not get the full line like you all do in the States Elf is one of the biggest Brands that do not release everything in CDA only about half is available here but sadly every Drugstore Brand that is here we only have 60% of the line . Idk 🤷♀️ why they do this they could increase their profit margin considerably it has nothing to do with ingredients it’s all about the paperwork involved they can’t be bothered , I know this because I know people that have business in the States and they refuse to bring their products to CDA because they don’t want to deal with the paperwork not because of the cost it’s the time it takes so they just choose to sell in their own Country. I’d love to be able to use the same products but unfortunately it’s not an option most don’t even ship here and if they do shipping is out of control where the cost is concerned.

I find myself loving cream blushes, now that I'm 67yrs old. It's much more hydrating and looks better than powders.

Drugstore foundation I am sold on Revlon Illuminance. My holy grail is MACs Studio Fix duo use powder foundation. Lasts forever.

I love the NYX cream blush in Baby Doll (mauve) and the Flower beauty blush stick (peach). They last through all the sweat and humidity while working outside on the farm.
My question is how do you do sweat proof/humidity proof hair? Went to Florida a couple weeks ago and my curly/wavy hair turned into an unmanageable hairnet texture, no matter what I did. Not pretty 😳
Has anyone else found it hard to color match the catrice true skin? I'm a pale princess but even on my skin, I feel like the foundation lightens to a crazy degree if I stay in the pale range.

More than half the Brands you used are not available to me in my Province in Canada it’s so frustrating that so many good Drugstore Brands are not available in Canada period, we used to have Catrice but it was discontinued to bring in Jason Wu and that was a big mistake I’ve tried so much from his line and was extremely disappointed I’d much rather have Catrice back , Profusion you can find if lucky around Christmas with their box sets they put out for the Holiday unfortunately none of the great holy grail products I found a few brush sets and those brushes stand up against Sigma they’re great brushes at a amazingly affordable price. J Cat, Moria, Joah as well as about 35 other Brands from the Drugstore that are not sold in CDA at all as for the Brands that are available we do not get the full line like you all do in the States Elf is one of the biggest Brands that do not release everything in CDA only about half is available here but sadly every Drugstore Brand that is here we only have 60% of the line . Idk 🤷♀️ why they do this they could increase their profit margin considerably it has nothing to do with ingredients it’s all about the paperwork involved they can’t be bothered , I know this because I know people that have business in the States and they refuse to bring their products to CDA because they don’t want to deal with the paperwork not because of the cost it’s the time it takes so they just choose to sell in their own Country. I’d love to be able to use the same products but unfortunately it’s not an option most don’t even ship here and if they do shipping is out of control where the cost is concerned.
