I was there this August. I had some great fun with all my family. Beside, there are a couple of girls that I think are hitting the track daily and they showed some real skills. By watching one of them I noticed a couple of huge mistake I was making and I managed to improve my lap time, in the following session, by more then 2 sec. It is kind of physically and mentally demanding to hit the throttle before the last corner and keep it open until the end of the first corner only to hit the brake when you see the tires right in front of you! But I saw her doing that and I thought: "If she can do it, I don't see why I can't!". It was kind of scary but I gained like half a second just by doing this in that sector.
For an Extra Special race, they should dim the lights so you can barely see the track and have to look up to the dimmed lights for where to go. This would be similar to how we were taught to drive through forested areas at night by moonlight before Night Vision was widely used.
that dude really held you up bad, that has to be the most annoying feeling in the world, clearly being faster but not being able to overtake bc you keep getting blocked with tight track limits
