not to mention the weight, the wood was in poor condition for the 2nd katana, japanese blade under 1000$ is shit and i think it's a minimum for a real katana
If you knew how to actually swing a katana you should take that tree in 1 lol. Katanas aren't meant for brute chopping, swing the blade at and angle and make th target slide across the blade while pushing forward. You'll slice through most things lol
Katanas are just so amazing .the beauty, lethality, history and how significant they were to the samurai who lived and died by that blade .its a beautiful relic (was a big anime fan in my teens so that's were most of my fascination comes from also😂)
I would argue that most blunt weapons are more lethal. Swords are not very practical agaist plated armors. But i do agree that they look both Stylish and elegant. Also it really was important for the samurai you are right
The wakasachi is made for close quarters on human size and smaller soft targets , the tachi was made as a horse mounted weapon that you didnt have to swing hard for it to be effective against opponets be it the other person or his horse . And they had axes for chopping down trees .
Japanese swords aren’t meant to hack, they’re meant to slash, ie pull back on impact and cut not brute force through an object. Weight matters, but that smaller sword could slice through leather armour in one shot if swung correctly
@@stonedape3285 seeing as how there is leather armour that’s around 2,700 years old in museums, you’re wrong. Also, you’d be surprised how well leather armour holds up to a blade. Other than that, you basically said what I said, thx for the waste of time
@@PhoenixIronworksNS there are only a few examples of leather armor and they are not even sure if they were used in combat or in rituals. Any blade would be able to penetrate leather
@@LittleBillTactical Hi. I also wana tell something about the same subject, If you cut one, put new one, young in earth. That would be nice. If we take something, it would be nice to giv new one. Stay strong and safe.
Well, physics matters. Do you see how badly off balance you are swinging the large one? They did not use swords that long until after gunpowder was invented and they were only for status. See how you were able to make balanced without finding the sweet spot in the blade so it was controllable for you?
Bro I'm not trying to be that guy but I don't think you're supposed to chop down that thick of trees using a katana I mean wouldn't that just eventually snap it a friend of mine snapped his blade by cutting a tree like that so we have learned our lesson to cut smaller tree branches and trees
No, is the worrior who use it ,I cut even rock with anyone those sword ok ,you just need train, need to make self strong, don't leave it to sword, the samurai strength is one who dominate ok, the reason why I said that it's because I can destroy any rock bare hands ok just train hard and make your self strong ok

The case is not a part of the sword therefore he can do what he wants with it. Also he purchased it with his own money so he can shoot the sword with a shotgun if he wants to
Yes... Weight matters.
He was swinging a lot harder with the long katana and swinging mildly with the short katana. What a joke 😅😅😅
not to mention the weight, the wood was in poor condition for the 2nd katana, japanese blade under 1000$ is shit and i think it's a minimum for a real katana
My thoughts exactly
No trees were harmed in the making of the video 😅
Certified true and correct... 😂
Twenty one Hits with the small one. four hits with the big one.

No way you posted this unironically
@@eyeofsauron7662lol what do you mean ironically he’s right
Nonsense he hit exact same spot every time he's swung a sword before
true
katana is meant to be SLICING no HITTING 😂
the who dont understand is so stupid 😂
That’s correct. The right training and sword sharpest. This thin tree in one swing.
Nice video Man. That big katana really did a lot of freaking damage
I really liked your Chinese War Sword demo.
Love it bro. Please do more videos

It all comes to edge allignment... also leather armor was never a thing and all blades could slice through "leather armor"

Try using the same angle for both blades. Katanas are battle blades, wakasashis are not. But can be used as such.
Here we go the " BIG BOY"💀
I bet he rewinds both of those swords.
So force = mass times acceleration works ? Wow !!!! Amazing !!!
Both of them are deadly and both will kill instantly so it depends on who is using it and who gets the first killing hit.
That small one is called a wakizashi [脇差] and bigger one is a Katana[方な].
You need to return em both
Omfg using a katana to cut a tree is like trying to use an elephant gun to shoot mice. Wrong tool for the job.
So true so true lmao
You mad dumb
But the first tree was XL 😂😂
very cool 😀👍
In my country we can put it down in 3 swings,, using ITAK,, and its smaller than those two
Yeah but the ITAK has a different edge profile. Making it more suitable for cutting through vegetation and wood.
TREE HUGGERS: 😔😭
He may be very strong but blunt
If the small sword was two times sharper the result will be different
you think when someone is decapitated that they see their head falling off their body or immediate lights out
No they would see their headless corpse. How would they see their own head?
Hi dear
I love your content, but may I request you to try your experiment on other objects, please don’t use the trees 😢
Thank you for the respectful request, those trees need to be removed anyways. I won’t remove more trees than necessary.

Hi.
I also wana tell something about the same subject,

That would be nice.
If we take something, it would be nice to giv new one.

Yeah true, instead should try on human
That all depends on the Ocean and the magic in the magician. 😅
Technique matters
easy way to dull the edge of the sword ⚔️
Don't cut trees🌲🌲
Is that an Odachi?
idk if the big katana is a odachi because katana that are bigger than normal katanas are considered Odachi's
We all know size matters!!! You didn't need to cut trees to show.
Here in philippines were hitting it 2 times using gulok or itak o bolo
Those are machetes. They are designed to do exacly those type of stuff
weight matters but your technique is also matter😂
how long is the blade of that katana?
Moment arm 🥲
Is he really chopping trees with those swords.🙄
Why u cut those 2..?
Technic Matters
Wtf: Two trees for 1 video
If you hit the tree at forty five degree angle facing down it will cost better
If you use it like an axe than it makes a difference!
Size always matter's
Parang melayu lagi tajam bang.😂.. Sekali tetak dah tumbang 😂.
Size always matters
It hurts to see how wrong he uses those swords
He don't know how to swing the katana... He is blaming the size of katana
Katana vs a odachi...no contest.
This guy single handedly is going to deforest the place lmfao.
This japanese guy is more of a zumo wrestler than samurai
Sumo* and no, not even close 😂
Is he a japanese tho?
And your a gremlin living in your moms basement

😂😂😂 if you going to chop a tree with a sword? It's just a big paperweight
Why you killed the tree?😊
You might wanna compare the weight to. Don't think they have the same weight
Wakazashi?
Link for purchase?
Ebay...
This is a japenees sword
No, THIS is a japaneese sword😂😂
Be careful with that sword. Your too close to camera. You might accidentally hit your friend
The Black African guy in this comment section 🗿
Why u killing trees for this
Bigger is always better😉🤭
2 perfectly good trees sacrificed for a dumb video
Use an AXE next time
Katana and tachi are not axes. It is disrespectful to treat them as this... 😢
Don’t cut Tree 😢

shocking waste of two trees
please Don't cut off tree
Jhonn Cobra
The really big one is to cut down the legs of horses, no?
No. It was more for crowd control just like the european greatsword
Your katana is dull. The one which crafted with a good material and right method will cut that tree in a single slash
Don't cut the trees. Please
Not made for cutting tree's my friend
Everything matter, but the thing is you still don't know yet how to use sword 😂😂😂
for the who made a video
did u know the difference of slash/slice and HITTING?😂😂😂
weight matters is true
but technique matters the most important 😂
Masih tajam parang Medan kayu segitu cuma sekali tebad
You don't know how to use the sword 🗡️
Naga sword 🗡️ is the best
Wina jest po stronie posiadającego.
Thats not axe...
bad miner! you should use hands to cut trees not katanas!
😂 ma che t'hanno fatto sti poveri alberelli..
Why u just throw the case of the katana... That's not the way to respect katana
