Definitely worth it if you're in the area! It's a bit of a journey from Wanaka, but worth it if you've got the time! Ensure you check out Franz Joseph as well Thanks for watching ❤❤
Superb photography and love the bird song . Visited the area around 40yrs ago in the pouring rain and it was beautiful then . My wish now is to bring my family over from Darwin and show them what you have shown us . Thankyou
A pukeko also ran across our path when we were walking to the lake-in 2005,,it was windy that day,the wawes were lapping the surface, mountains in the clouds,,it was impossible to take pictures. The views from Lake Gault are awsome, thank you,Chris and Danya, I wish you many more experiences, stay healthy.
Thanks for watching Jana! Sorry to hear you didn't get better weather during your visit 😞 We were lucky to be able to spend at least a week in each location to give ourselves the best chance for at least a bit of good weather
@janakotrcova2790 we've done a handful of trips into Fiordland National Park, but besides catching the ferry from the end of the Milford Track, we didn't really get a chance to explore the Fjords unfortunately. Will have to do it when we return!
Yep, those are the glow worms! I tried getting some shots of them at night, but because they're so small and it's so dark, I can't get any good footage on my camera unfortunately. We have a few shots of them in our Milford Track video
You really should ask someone to teach you how to properly use those hiking poles. They're not props. Don't take offence. They're helpful if you know how to use them.
Wow excellent quality shots. You just truly captured the essence of this place. Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks for watching and thank you for the kind words! 🙏❤️

The best reflections we saw during our time in NZ
These videos just how much of my own backyard I haven't explored
Get out there and experience it! 😁

The reflections are incredible! Good things come to those who wait. :)
Couldn't agree more mommy! 😊❤️
Just wow!! Definitely on the list for the trip back. Thank you for sharing. BTW, nice save of the beer.
Definitely worth it if you don't mind going a bit out of the way! Lots to do in the area worth exploring
Soooo beautiful! And the bird song.
Our favourite place on the West Coast 😊
What amazing views, even from the cafe!
The food from the cafe was so good too 👌
What a view!!!
One of the best!
Stunning. Patience (and beer) has its rewards!
Patience is easy as long as there's beer 😂
Welcome to my home :)
Your home is beautiful! ❤️
Thank you guys for the videos, they’re truely stunning. I’ll make sure to add Lake Mattheson to our list when we visit NZ for the honeymoon

Would have been beautiful in the pouring rain! Can't imagine what Fox glacier looked like 40 years ago 😯

@janakotrcova2790 sounds like you made a good choice! 😊
Three days in the camp in Te Anau, from there we made trips. The singing of birds /tui tui/and the deep starry sky, real beauty.@@ChrisandDanya

Damn is this the lion king with that bird 2:34
You know these are super common in Australia right? Haha
wow fantastic views! can i know which month was this taken?
Hey, sorry for the delayed response! This was taken in early November
Sad to think of how much the glacier has receded since I first visited in 1995. 😢
It's very sad knowing it will likely be gone in the next few decades 😭
Glad we got to experience it
At 1:33, Isn't that the worms that use bioluminescence in the dark? Would love to see a short video from you guys experiencing it :D

As someone who has hiked over 2000km with hiking poles, yes I know how to use them
