For some reason I feel that the Cf8 Cf zen 2017, and 2019, all have WAY more pop than any of the Cats. But other people say the opposite on my team so I guess it's just opinion
We break CF Zen's every single year and I have seen 10 different Zen's break in half over the last 4 years. We love them but they are only good for a year or less.
@@batdigest the 2020 Zen -10 we bought in September of 2020 and it's broke in June of 2020... 3 tourneys in October, 2 in Februarym 2 in May and 2 in June... and it's done. Looking at the Posey Cat 8 now... that may be the next purchase. Until then using an Easton Ghost
Let us know how you like that CAT/Posey. As I am sure you know, we think that the 2nd best bat and, if durability is your thing, then the best one in USSSA.
My son has done the same test with the 2019 zen and the cat 8 in -8. They both hit the same exit speed. So, the question for you is if the zen is 1 or 2 mph better, even, is that worth an extra $150 and a cracked bat halfway through the season?
We'd go with the CF in a drop 10. But, you wouldn't be wrong to go with the CAT 8/Posey28 either. Those are the top two choices in USSSA. Prime not bad, but we like the CF and CAT better.
Nice vid and thanks for telling me the bat with the lightest swing weight for BBCOR, but I still might get the Easton Maxum but it is $400 and I was really trying to stay under $350 and then I was going to get the Quattro Pro or CF but both over $440.
There’s a reason why most all college players use aluminum bats, there’re better for stronger players. If you are small and weak, a composite will be better, but if you’re strong and have a powerful swing then aluminum is the way to go.
I think we already have one up, don't we? I remember doing one at a field about a year ago with a USSSA 31/21 Warstic Gunner. Check our older vidoes and see it. If you can't find it let me know and I'll go searching. Maybe still in our files somewhere.
@@batdigest that would be awesome. My son has -8 hawk, -5 hawk and -5 cat8. He chooses the -8 hawk. But to each their own. We or he, demoed the USSSA Bonesaber too. He absolutely loved it.

Ejector Air Coasters I agree with your opinion as long as the cf zen is usssa
They only saying that bc they don’t have the more expensive bat
I picked the cf over the cat
IT WOULD BE REALLY FUN IF YOU COMPARE between now USSSA bat and Any Hottest classic bat before BBCOR.
These kind of videos are why I subscribe to Bat Digest.....ADV 360 next please!
ADV 360 vs ? How about the Prime series? That'd be a good head to head...🤔🤔🤔🤔
Bat Digest how about ADV 360 vs Prime vs Zen
Baseballs will be circling the Earth 😂
Is there anyway to get your hands in a Warstic Bonesaber and review it? Really enjoyed this video, like to see more like this.

For sure. We've found, after about 500 or so really good hits you are on borrowed time.

Maybe you did pt the arguement to bed. They're both good bats they both work great when setting well.
Great now let’s see combat b2 vs Eaton maxum
Yeah I have the cf in a -8 usssa and I think that it is a lot better than the cat

What's the best drop 8 usssa bat for home run derby?
I am a 7th grader who is going
To be playing middle school ball. I’m debating between the prime 919, cf zen, and the cat8. Any suggestions?

Cat 8 is the better choice
This video was cool, do more like this
Aaaaight.

Or you could just get the last years model for half the original price, I just ordered the 2019 quatro pro bbcor for 250
Do voodoo vs zen
Cf cracks way easier to than the Marucci
True
I think ya just did a warsaber
First swing I took with the cf I hit a home run lol
How old is he
6.
First comment
First!
Bruh why was I wondering the exact question as the title
Awesome vid. one thing you didnt mention is in the usssa -5 you can get the marucci in 2 3/4 and cf only goes to 2 5/8.
Good catch. Great clarification.
Can you do a regular prime vs cat 8?
$150 difference? Give me the Cat8. It's gonna last way longer than CF bat.
Bruh moment
The cf is way better
Cat 8 is a beast for sure.
Phil Vu Nope
As always great video!!
Thanks.

Bat Digest yessir
Do a warstic gunner bat review

Rawlings velo plz bbcor
Nice vid!
If it is possible can you please do a Posey28?
Same as the CAT 8 across the board. No different, except for paint job.
I’m 13 145. Need a BBCOR bat. Out of the 2019 CF Zen, and the 2019 Cat 8 Connect. Both in 32’ what would you recommend?
Anyone else see a difference in pop between the black and gold CF? (USSSA)
Thanks guys you helped me and my dad chose the best bat for me
Do a drop 3 cat8
Are the USA bats just as good as bbcor and usssa
They are 'about' as good as BBCOR in terms of 'trampoline' effect. USSSA will win by a measurable amount over USA.
Should I get the cf or quarto
Bbcor
Big jay dawg 605 cf
could yall do a video comparing the 2019 Rawlings quatro pro to some other bats
Sure....how about the Prime? Or Meta? I'm thinking Meta.
Absolutely thank you so much
@@batdigest por favor
Do a cat 8 connect vid
Do a cat 8 connect -5 vid plz
first
Now do USSSA cat vs. Hawk2 😮😮😮😮
Yeah. For reals. We only have the 29/19 Hawk 2. Still seeing if we can't get a 31/21 out here.

I’m 13 and have an exit velo constantly at 79 and up to 85 with a Easton 😂😂😂I’m not noking him tho I love this channel and the kids swing
He was hitting off the tee though
@@MasonEsquivel_ yeah that's what you use to measure exit velo, u don't measure ur exit velo off of live pitching
Same I’ve 84 with wood at 15
No I’m 85 on the tee
