Nussmeier was hurt by one of LSU’s lineman (maybe right tackle?) stepping on his foot. He threw the 2nd and third int bc he was running for his life back there on his hurt foot, from a strong A&M pass rush. Don’t give on Nuss he looks like the kind of QB who can tear it up if he can get a clean pocket. Beat Bama! Gigem!
Crazy how people have flipped on Nuss. Most of the fan base wanted him to start over JD5 and now people are calling for his head. Nuss can clean up these mistakes, he just went up against a team that made him pay for them. If that's not a wake up call...
Is Shea Dixon aware that LSU has 2 losses? That usc loss is what’s going to haunt us bro. Have to win out and hope to be tied with a team we have the tiebreaker over.
Coaching Malpractice. Sabin would have had his defense ready for both QB’s. Your contention that they played teams that run Zone read offenses, therefore you do not have to practice for it for the next opponent. With that line of thinking you never have to practice after the first couple of games .
It was the opposite in the 1st half. There was absolutely no plan for Reed and Nussmeier had a complete melt down. Those missed field goals were the difference, Reed coming in having to pass down 22 is a lot different than coming in only down 10. Either way A&M deserves credit. They put LSU away. Now win out and beat Georgia, do something for once.
We have prepared for running QB's in other games. So not an excuse thats exceptable. Looked like the holder of the field goals, and Nuss were paid to lose in the second half. Hopefully they got paid, because that effort was beyond bad.
It was just bad luck for LSU. The whole QB switch thing. You can't perfectly prepare for everything. And Nuss' INTs were the real killer. They dominated CW so completely, that they made a switch, and then A&M got hot and then Nuss threw 3 second half picks and it was a perfect storm. A&M deserved to win, and LSU crumbled. But it wasn't like they completely effed everything up. Shite happens is all it was. Playing at Kyle Field no less. The FGs also were a nightmare. My only complaint would be if you can't run the ball then don't. Just keep passing it, Nuss is always up for it.
@@outlawred946 No it's not, it's a perfectly good, comprehensive take. Oh wait a minute, maybe you're right. Could it have been divine intervention? The mysterious hand of fate? Powers of ineluctable destiny beyond our comprehension? I think it was just because CW effin' sucks. So bad that he couldnt' even last a full game, or even three quarters, on account of he was being dominated so thoroughly. And so he got yanked and that's when fickle fate took over. If you're going to suck that bad, you do that all on your own. That's when LSU's luck ran out.
LSU pundits are protecting Nuss even though he makes decisions like an alcoholic half the time. That’s called enabling. If your qb doesn’t see the importance of protecting the football you don’t let him on the field, simple as that. Nuss gave A&M as much spark as anything, even more than their own backup qb. The game changed on that ridiculous first interception. I don’t see the stupid passes stopping based on the response from the team and pundits.
After that first interception everyone in the stadium knew it was just the beginning. And it was! That one play was as big for A&M as going down the field to the 3 yard line and walking away with zero points. It was as big as Weeks’ interception a week earlier. It was a massive GIFT, and NO ONE was surprised. Nuss is a heck of a guy, but that play was the hinge point of the game.
Let’s not forget all the lucky passes that Nuss has thrown that SHOULD have been picked off this year and weren’t. You think A&M wasn’t aware of that going into this game???? THREE interceptions in 1 1/2 quarters. Coincidence that A&M dominated???? Has any other qb accomplished that this season???? You people are insufferable.
3 ints gave their team a pulse Saturday he's not gonna get better because that's his game. He's proven time and time that he can at times be very careless with the ball and it cost us the game period.
You know how weird you look still commenting about a coach that left 3 years ago. But here is that cookie you wanted. Didn’t your team lose to Northern Illinois?
@@terrencewestbrook4036 I actually agree that you all probably won’t lose another game. One thing about me I can actually put my bias aside to have a realistic conversation. I can also admit that the same A&M team Notre Dame played isn’t the same one LSU Played. There isn’t one team that has not looked suspect this year.
Does it matter? We all see what is wrong with LSU. Can’t run the ball, Nuss is terrible when team change coverage at the snap. Red zone offense does not exist. coaches are short sighted and did not practicing for Reed, defense is not gap sound. What can be done about it? Stop being idiots. LSU has two weeks to prepare for a possible beat down.

Not the video I want to be first on, but here we are. 😢
I’m still having fun.

Nuss needs to run more it would help the run and passing game
He soft 1hit from lb he piss in his pants
A&M looked like a Tommy Moffit team. Hardened, LSU Lolks soft

LSU was unstoppable in the first half. A great team still. They just weren’t prepared for Marcel Reed. I’m for LSU over Bama.
They are playing 10 against 11 because Nuss want run the ball to keep them honest

My personal take is during halftime A and M made a pact with Satan.

Y’all will lose 2 more games and be out. You guys aren’t good haha. Congrats on the win vs Navy.
@@sportsbettingeducation we won’t lose another game this season while LSU will lose to Alabama and that will be the end of you all playoff chances

Would like to see A&M in the 2nd round of the playoffs
outcoached. LSU players lack of the killer instinct. You have to be prepare for plan A,B , and Z. no excuses
Dude this Shea guy is terrible. Dude speaks so confident and is so off. He said they’ve played Marcel Reed types? Who? Lol
Green and Sellers?
It was the ghastly all white uniforms! LSU has no style or class compared to the all black A&M uniforms.
LSU has way cooler uniforms
I hope Nuss does NOT return next year. I can’t take another year of this!
IT'S NOT PERSONAL NUSSMEIRE, BUT JUST FOOTBALL BUSINESS!!! I WANT TO SEE A NEW QUARTERBACK AS WELL IN 2025!!! GOOD LUCK IN THE NFL!!!👍✊✌️
So you want to start a true freshman next year?
You’re insane. Weigman is legitimately a top 5 QB. Who would you rather have? You’ve been spoiled.
