I was 11, I knew how to clean my room fold clothes wash clothes and wash them My mom used to say I am not Cinderella. I am not your maid. You do a lot for your children, I don’t know if they appreciate it please let those kids clean up their room. You pay the bills you cook you do so much for them. That is their responsibility. How else will they learn to structure If you keep picking up the pieces that are their castle their own they made the mess. They gotta clean it up. My mother used to handicap me because I had a disability and my brother‘s wife used to tell her all the time. What is gonna happen when y'all mother is no longer there those twins need to learn responsibility. I know that they’re your last babies, what’s gonna happen when you’re no longer there because their sisters and brothers are gonna have their own lives, they need to learn how to keep their space clean and they’re not gonna do it because they know that you are going to do it for them. this is coming from a grown adult with a disability who mother will pick up my pieces, my mother passed away, I had to figure out a lot of things on my own.
There is no way my mother would come in and clean our room like this espcially at their age. We had to make up our beds every morning, keep our bathroom clean and our mother would do the REAL DEEP clean once a week. I did the same thing with my sons; if they didnt, they lost a previlige for a week.
I have a suggestion for Kade (sp?) You should get her one of those handheld 'keyboard' vacuums. That way she can clean out her desk when she does her experiments. 👍🏻👍🏻
I pray you go into the new year relaxing and enjoying life and letting the kids prove that you've taught and raised them well, so they can progress forward if God forbid something happens to you, please don't be offended, may God continue to bless you all

I used to rollerskate when I was younger. I never learned to rollerblade nor ice skate. And I hate snow so I've never wanted to learn to ice skate. I went sledding down a steep hill one time when I was about 10 years old... the goal was to sled down really fast and hop over, yes OVER railroad tracks and down the rest of the hill.... well, it came to my turn... I was going fast and flew OFF 😮the sled!!⚠️I had on my plastic 2 piece snow suit on (this was like 1984 I think, so you know the ones I'm referring too, right?)Anyway, ... instead of the one piece that was in the laundry that day... well, I got a ton of snow down into my pants and up my back!! 😮↕️🔘⚪️❄️❄️ I had frostbite 🥶 and it burned and hurt and all that jazz. 😢😂😢😂😢😂 Couldn't sit too well for about a week but it was good entertainment for my brother and our entire neighborhood friends!! NEVER AGAIN.

This comment! I remember being a kid and just being messy. No matter what my mom did I was just a messy kid. It took me joining the military, getting my own home, and having my own kids to fully understand. These are kids, everyone isn’t a neat freak. I am now thanks to Uncle Sam, and guess what no matter what I do or how many times I tell/show my youngest son about his room he’s just messy. It has gotten so much better with age, he’s now 14. My 17 year old is a neat freak and has been since he was a toddler. All kids are different.
