Rise of TMNT Sequel Ideas We LOVE and HATE
When it first premiered in 2018, the latest incarnation in the Turtles series - Rise of the TMNT - had a bit of an uphill battle, coming out when some fans were still mourning the loss of the 2012 incarnation. That plus a style and tone change meant that not everyone had been willing to give Rise a chance. However, with the new Netflix movie receiving many positive reviews and some fans now being more willing to watch the rest of Rise, things seem to be making a bit of a turnaround. One of the show’s former writers even said that, if the Netflix movie were to do well, there’s a chance that this incarnation may make some sort of return!

Have you noticed that in the Rise Movie, there are some giant skulls shaped like "Triceratons" on Krangs ship (the "throne") and in their void world.
Crazy how the krang were usually scared of the triceratons, here they destroyed them
This show has better animation than a good portion of Anime. This Show NEEDS TO CONTINUE

I was thinking exactly the same thing a few days ago. Tmnt x Pom could be a massive and funny combo. Just imagining the fight scenes and the humor of our protagonists makes me smile.

The only references to the turtles multiverse in Rise was in the episode “Pizza Pit” where all the animated incarnations of the turtles, excluding 2003 where on pictures on Donnie’s chart.
If there is a season 3 I wanna see Mikey's powers he got in the movie more. Maybe he can be trained under splinter or draxum? I wanna see what else he could do with his powers. And maybe we can see what was the reason that future Mikey died that maybe can be changed while Mikey's still learning?
I kninda theorize it's something to do with his brothers. When Mikey first used his powers all he wanted was Leo back. At the meanwhile Raph and Donnie were cheering him on. I just wonder if thats the reason future Mikey died while using his powers. He didn't have all three of his brothers.
im pretty sure future mikey died because his body couldnt handle the power, as for when he was saving leo, raph and donnie helped him by holding some of the power aswell.
I got a crazy idea but maybe do crossover between all the TMNT shows like the classic, 2003 , 2012 and Rise into a big event
I would love to see an arc involving the ooze starts to either wear off,further mutate,or goes berserk with the mutants. Another idea is the hidden city starts to rise up and humans and yokai must learn to live together.
Personally would like the rest of season 2, though if Rise comes back then it would more then likely be a part of season 3 instead. Dr. Noe was quite an interesting character so it would be good to see his story continue, Draxum’s redemption arc being extended would’ve been cool too.
I feel like they would finish the rest of season 2 and then put it on Netflix. After a while, they would follow season 3 which, in my opinion, should be a continuation of the movie.

In my opinion, I would really like to see a crossover with the 2012 version. I actually grew up with the 2012 version and I have to agree, it would be one heck of a ride to see the Raph's and Leo's meet.
Eh it would be nice. But I hope they don’t fked it up like in Turtles Forever and make the Rise Turtles complete idiots.
I would love to see their take on Usagi. Maybe make him and Leo have a strong friendship and make him appear in some episodes, like in 2003.

like here's the thing, I love rise with all my heart and soul..but rise merch is okay to trash. The toys they made during the run barely made them look good(especially Donny and Leo, my boys). And the other merch is aimed for REAAAAAALLY little kids. Toddler tshirts, water marker pads, scribble pads???? For older fans those are awful
What I personally would love is dynamic tshirts for ALL SIZES, kids,adults. Not just taking the beta art with eyebrowless Donny and creepy smile raph and using them on tshirts. I wanna see a Tshirt of Donny with his mystic tech! I wanna see raph carrying his brothers!
Or even better: professional level action figures/ character figures! Imagine all the dynamic poses they could make and how awesome they can make it! Again, imagine a figure of Leo jumping through a portal that you can put on a shelf! Or even a statue of Mikey with his nunchucks or kusari-fundo
I feel like Rat King is as a main villain better reserved for an episode than a full on movie
For a crossover I will like to see rise interact with the 2003 turtles. The differences are even more stark then with 2012 and the clashing personalities has potential for both drama and comedy gold.
Honestly if there were to be a season three I would like for the scrapped episodes to be on the show. I also really like the Bishop idea you guys brought up
If we're going to do another crossover, we need to go ahead and just do another Turtles Forever with all of the main turtles incarnations coming together. It would have the high stakes necessary for a big send-off while bringing in older fans who may prefer the 2003 or 1987 turtles who were alienated by Rise's stylistic choices. It could also be a good chance to fix some of the issues of the original Turtles Forever had, including the infamous way that special handled the 87 turtles.

I think it would be a cool idea to bring renet into the show! she works for that time agency and they are all about fixing timelines and all that, so I could totally see them trying to snatch Casey back for breaking time rules... and the guy who sent him back
If the show continues , which I want it to continue I hope that they use the unaired episodes as some season 3 episodes with some changes in order to continue after season 2. I also, would like to see agent bishop as a human draxum and see how they will handle this but what I really want to see is the timeline where it leads to the invasion from the krang . What I mean, is that in season 3 we see the events before the movie takes place and how we got there. And then, maybe in season 4 we see what happened after the movie
Make sure to keep watching the movie before Sept 1st. Get those ratings up and we MIGHT get a Season 3 of the show. Rise isnt’t cancelled per se but it is on pause. As long as a ton of people watch the movie and give it a thumbs up we have a small chance of getting a third season.

I like the idea of a crossover with the 1987, 2012, and rise turtles and the idea of getting a rise version of renet and having the turtles and Casey travel though Time with her.
I want another "Blast to the Past," with dinosaurs and the Triceratons.
A more...let's just say "out there" crossover idea I have in mind is the TMNT meeting the Wild Wild Pussycats from BNHA.
It would be very funny if the Pussycats assumed the turtles are relatives to Spinner and instantly fight the tmnt and after they put aside their differences, they'll team up to fight the LOV (or some other kind of bnha villain) who are collecting mutagen.
Could you make this kind of video but with Encanto? They said it would be a franchise after all, and with the success and countless discarded ideas that could be reused a lot can be done in the future.
Funny thing about Encanto,I thought Mirabel would have a better relationship with Delores and Pepa. Because they could comfort her about not getting a gift by their resentment of their gifts.

the Rise crew wout probably need to roll with the 2003 turtles, both have mystic weapons so the enevitable "hero vs Hero" fight would be pretty even and fun to see the elemental 2003 dragon fangs do up against rises more personalized powers.
the 2 mikey's chain based weapons getting tangled up, 03 leo shooting fire into rise leo's portals, the donnies ditching their magic to have a science battle, and the raph just breaking everything as they are the most into the fight.
Okay, but as much as the Raphs and Leos would clash, I can see Rise Donnie condescending his counterpart, and the 2012 one getting irritated.
In fact, Rise Donnie would be arrogant with any of his alternative selves, maybe less with 2003. I dunno, I haven’t watched 2003 yet. Don’t have platforms that stream it.

I’ll be content if they just release the ‘lost episodes’. Everything was already scripted, storyboarded, and recorded (plus animatics); it just needs to be animated.
They can just be released as side/alternate/untold stories.

One thing I would love is a movie where Flugen and Munen gather a bunch of villains from other shows like Bebop,Rocksteady, leather head ect. And other villains from rise like hypno and the rise turtles have to get help from other incarnations to defeat the villains
The only season outside of the rottmnt that didn’t have a crossover with original serie is next mutation but that maybe because next mutation is live action
Man I love rise of the TMNT is my favourite incarnation ever and the movie is dop!
I just hope by return they don't do another future storyline

I like the Crossover Idea and before I Say Anything while Aliens might feel Weird in Rise,Keep in Mind it wasn't Explore Well in other Adaptations and there was a Limitation in it so Mystical and Cosmic Elements can Work since the Rise Movie is Living Proof of it,Anyway I would Love to see Mona Lisa,Venus De Milo,Maybe Renet,The Triceratons,Lord Dregg,The Rat King,Armaggon,Agent Bishop,Fugitoid,and Slash.

I remember seeing the Rise show premiere when I was 10 and I just thought to myself "Oh cool. That exists... I feel like this might come back to haunt me.." And guess what? I was right.

A theorie:all of the previous incarnations of the turtle are deadlocked cuz of all the Krangs from th movie although the previous versions beat theirs
I think the shredder will rise again as he is the strongest villain and shredder incarnation ever if they do then we can see a more weak shredder then season 2 as he will be trying to regain his own power but with the power of the show will have to try to make the shredder look more weak as he was destroyed

i guess they can backtrack on the lost episodes as some flashback tidbits especially when the turtles are too complacent with using their powers, lose to a baddie and retrace their steps how they mastered their powers.
as for potential continuation after the movie the series might be good with using newer bad guys / gals. having shredder and krang is already great but the other villains are not as dangerous. i guess except for the rat king. the crossover episodes would be great but i hope they create a movie or movies for those instead where they meet the 1987, 2003, 2007 and the 2012 turtles separately . i dunno if this will work, but, making the rise turtles interact with the other teams in different situations and not all at once is better for bonds they may form.
If the Rise series has another season, I think that the rise series is going to get a new villain. One that we haven’t seen before in any of the TMNT. Of course, some of the episodes will be related to that villain, and some that won’t be, like a crossover. If a season 3 is ever to happen, then I will be very exited!

Here is what I think would happen in a tmnt crossover 2012 raph would probably pick a fight with rise raph 2012 leo would probably judge rise Leo's control and leadership over his team and rise leo would tell him to stop being so serious and chillax when 2012 leo would bring it up the 2012 Donnie would be excited about rise donnie's tech and rise Donnie would be interested in 2012 donnie's tech but also judge Donnie for having a wooden stick and not a high tech stick like him and the mikey's they would just hit it off instantly with no problems

also there is a different crossover that Rise is missing, a Miyamoto Usagi crossover, as every other cartoon had a crossover with this samurai rabbit (who did recieve a CGI Netflix show recently)

You know what? If Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a sequel, then maybe it can give us some references to the older incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and some other references from here and there. We all miss the 2012 Reboot of it, but it could have some cameos and references in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and if there's a sequel to the movie it had before then maybe these turtles could meet their 2012 Versions. But who knows what the future holds.😁👍🏻
