So this is a saddening and complicated one. Just got this track from a yt suscriber and i was having the time of my life on it until i heard about its background story.
I won't share the track's link here until i get i get more infos, so far here's what my researches ended with :
-seems to be an illegitimate GPL track conversion
-original author did not approve the versions that were done for AC so far
-i can't find much more intel about the whole story, if it's still in dev or if nothing will be done about it.
Which is a fucking shame if you ask me, because that track is a blast. It has a bumpy road, a fast pace with some technical fast corners, a nicely done scenery and basically is more advanced than 90% of the shitty conversions i've had the opportunity to ride my beloved vintage formulas on.
Let's hope for someone to finish this and make it acceptable for the original author, it doesn't need much : better road sides, some edits to the scenery, and to adjust some AI hints.
Feel free to add to the story, i'm just super sad we can't have this particular nice thing, as i would certainly pay for it.

The Chinese government has been blocking his attempts to get on the traditional internet and he’s had to create multiple accounts over the past few months to share his work. He only gets short amounts of time on “our” internet so he hasn’t been able to get permission to share his work. He works on projects basically without internet, he uses historical books and print outs to complete his mods (which has gained him unwanted attention from the Chinese Government at times) so he’s basically working in a bubble.

In my opinion it looks a lot like the RF2 's Dundrod (originally from GPL), so i don't really know what to do apart than making some kind of promotion for it to be validated by its original creator, allowing a while bunch of other modders to add to it. I did my best to get the best graphics out of it.
If Fat Alfie would just get his hands on this!
So far no new filters today, i'm still waiting for the AI bugs in the latest CSP version (0.2.3 preview1)to be fixed.
Using CSP 0.2.1preview2 and Pure 0.238 for this vid, but this combo is a bit buggy atm, i think i 'm gonna go back to CSP 2.0 and Pure 0.235. My FPS went drastically down with the latest updates.

I second using OBS. Continuated framework and lots of finetuning possibilities regarding video + sound quality adjustment/refinement, besides optimization for online streaming broadcast and so on. And then add it's free of charge.

The work done by this Chinese guy is amazing. Even if a conversion, it is really good. Maybe few corrections especially this vertical black panel on right side of the road but not really annoying for cruising or racing. As you said the quality is at top level. Sad the censureship is restricting his web use especially for just doing simracing modding but I guess if he would have more free access it means he can also go on "illegal" sites (...illegal... for Chinese government point of view). Hope you will be able, he will be able to make this track available to all of us AC simracers.
Yeah, i believe Jim, who originally created the track for GPL, would maybe approve this conversion.
I kinda hope this vid would bring his attention to it, but it's always tricky to promote any work that didn't get any permission in the first place. Especially on Assetto where the shitty steals are way too common, and i' ve seen way too many good modders being demoralized with the shady uses of their hard jobs, or the lack of feedbacks from their thousands of users.
Again, walking on eggs here, but i truly want this particular track to be brought on light, worked on, optimized and played. Until then, no links for the track, it has to stay in the shadows.

Your videos have inspired me to upgrade my PC and get back into Assetto Corsa. Your set ups have created the most realistic looking environments, particularly for the usual UK weather, that I've ever seen in a simulation.
Unfortunately, I'm going to need a bucket of cash to upgrade my PC and a barrel load of skill to upgrade my driving ability to get anywhere near your standard! That course looks far too fast for my brain.
I still use a ryzen 3600 and a 7800XT for those vids. CSP 2.0 is still manageable, the latest 2.1.3 did put my hardware to heat still. Hopefully it 'll get optimised!
How can I play this? I own AC but how do I find it in the game?
Do you have AC on PC? It's all mods to download. For this it's the lotus 49, ferrari 312 67 and heat pessio Heat mk1
