@@Alfadrottning86 Why not ? what I am trying to make clear is that it is precisely to set parties against each other that will cause major problems in the future. The point is not that the club that shouts the loudest now has to shut up later because they were wrong. I am shocked by the aggression and the false accusations, but that is a club. that is being abused. Call it stupidity, call it fanaticism, but what matters is that we are in Europe together whether we like it or not. The UK really does not get any further, a child can see that and eventually when the dust has settled there are again conversations and eventually there is a collaboration. The sooner the better. When we stick with arguing I was right and you weren't, we all end up getting the lid on our noses. This government in the UK is standing in the way of further development and must therefore disappear as soon as possible so that we can start with a clean slate.

    • @Alfadrottning86

@@hildetoepoel812 i mean, i see what you mean .. but there is a learning experience to be gained for British people.
You point at further development and that the current government might disappear eventually .. Yes it will .. but what tells you that it wont be replaced by one that is worse? More Trumpian, more nationalist, more vicious .. more basing their entire decision making process on tabloids and the lowest of the lowest ignorance.
We see such trends .. or we have seen them.. in the USA. Where Fox News makes people dumber, where the people voted for a moron .. and are proud on it.. where they stormed the capitol for "dear leader Trump".
If those people are not told how wrong they have been .. to make them learn something, take responsibility .. what do you think happens next? They will do it again, but more and stronger. Who is the next Johnson? .. maybe they will go for Farage? Maybe a true fascist, not just an opportunist and moron?
What are the reasons for Brexit? .. professional victim-hood, the inability to take responsibility for ones own life decisions so everything bad MUST be blamed on someone else (EU, brown people, jews, women, you name it.. ... and yes, i have seen comments by Leavers about all that. People blaming the EU of course, but also people blaming Soros (like WTF?), people blaming the Jews (because, yes, that is what we do in the modern Europe, right?) and of course people blaming brown skinned people .. and feminism)
Making peace with those people means that there needs to be a will to make peace.
Tell me .. how many hardcore Brexiters have stretched out their hands to reflect, truly reflect on what is going on? Have you looked at the pro Brexit channels here? Have you seen the pro Brexiters lately? Have the Leaders, Farage, Johnson, Gove, Mogg shown ANY sign of understanding?
Should not THEY be the ones seeking out understanding? .. they are .. after all .. the gracious winners, are they not?

@@Alfadrottning86 as long as man has existed there have been intrigues and parties are pitted against each other. There is nothing new under the sun. What matters is who is driving these intrigues? There are three types, in the case of the UK, of Brexiters. 1 the vast majority who are too stupid to see that lies like “make brittan great and great empire” are nonsense 2. a club of hardliners who cling to their thinking against their better judgment. They never give in because that is loss. Just look at old Nazis or the ultra right in Germany. Despite all the evidence, they continue to deny. 3. The group that has a completely different agenda that mobilizes groups 1 and 2 to safeguard their interests. They are not at all in the interest of the people and of the country, but purely self-interest for power and money is power. Even those weird clowns reigning now are being used, even though it makes them better. even the crow nigel who talks when a headless chicken is used, he doesn't get worse either. It is about the invisible power that controls and manipulates newspapers, banks, the army and other crusial affairs. A force that has been in power in the UK for centuries and can remain as long as outdated democracy is not changed. The system of one time on the right and on the other on the left encourages corruption, because there is always only one club ruling. Direct elections nationally on the person and on the parties (so more than the current two) provides better control and forces coalitions and keeps everyone on their toes. Look at the rest in Europe. The socialists are no longer needed, it is now about other things. The torries have never been necessary and only have their own interests in mind. Fortunately / unfortunately, the UK has not experienced any occupation or revolutions. That makes people lazy and simple, which is why abuse of power is so present. An outsider sees this better, objectively and without rancor. I would therefore like to emphasize that I have admired this island from my youth and have always respected it, although since the beginning of 2000 it has become increasingly difficult for me to muster sympathy.

The problem has nothing to do with the trade deal agreed at Christmas. The trouble stems from the decision by the Westminster Parliament to vote for Johnson's withdrawal agreement at the beginning of 2020. By voting to leave the single market and customs union Britain elected to fundamentally change the way trade with the EU is carried out in the futurr. The border formalities which British fish exporters are facing now existed for all non EU member states prior to Brexit, they can not be negotiated away, there is no "get around clause". The transition period was in place to allow for both government agencies and commerce to adjust to the new border/customs structures, instead the time was wasted in the belief that it was possible for Johnson to bully the EU into conceding a trade deal with open borders to Britain's exports without actually being a component of the EU internal system. Welcome to the Brexit sir!

Well stated. It can be seen unreasonable from a UK point of view why suddenly their shellfish need to be processed before entering EU. But that was the beauty of a single market. Only winner here are the scallops and by oh boy will the population in UK be able to enjoy an abundance of scallops until the fishermen just disappear as it no longer will be financially justified to keep going, then scallops will be more scarce and expensive even in UK

For the British: Norway+ immediately considered after the Referendum was an issue, but it could not be accepted, because Norway and Switzerland have free movement, this was the main reason.
The "check" word is not fair, Germany and the UK pay a lot to other institutions, within the UN and NATO.
Boris Johnson said in Parliament: "The UK will go on after Brexit funding other nations" and then he added: "Those which are of our national interest."
