Every theme comes from something. No exception. Now just some thoughs about the victory themes that maybe nobody cares but still I do it: -It upsets me that in Ultimate some themes are rushed or shorted. -Mr. G&W's Victory from Melee is most iconic than Brawl. -I think the "You got the Star" theme from Super Mario Galaxy 2 must be Rosalina's Victory instead of an Main Theme-based one. -Earthbound's Victory from Ultimate is lame, compared to Brawl and Melee, they could left it wth Brawl (It's my favorite) -Mega Man's Victory could be better if was the Level Complete fanfare from the original or even from the X series, instead of another Main Theme-based one. -Sonic could use a new Victory fanfare, based on the "Level Complete" melody from his first game. -From the Koopalings could be from Super Mario Bros 3, the melody when the king greets you after saving the worlds.
Actually, Rosalina's theme resembles the star get theme more than the main one, specifically with the ending flourish. At least, that's how I hear it. Also, I feel that the Melee Game & Watch theme doesn't really feel like a victory theme. It sounds more like a Game Over theme to me, but I respect your opinions.
