Would it be too dramatic to call you my LIFESAVER? Well, I don’t care! You’ve saved me a WHOLE LOT of trouble and saved me A LOT OF MONEY!
I’m a renter and about to move out. I had a humidifier behind my bed and I was not aware that it had been leaking water for months. When I moved my furniture, I almost dropped in the spot when I saw the stains.
    Thank you a million!

In another video, they had severe stains and they used the peroxide from clairol hair lightener with the BW-2 booster powder packets both available in womens beauty supply stores. Also they said you need to sand off any varnish to get to the wood. I like your idea of using the green abrasive sponge to accomplish that. Also, it is a good idea to not put the peroxide on the non stained areas. For stubborn areas, place saran wrap plastic over the area to stop evaporation. Nice video.

Hi! Marie here in Canada - thanks for this video! I've got this old house with old stained (over 100 year old) hardwood floors. I ripped up the carpets about 10 years ago - saw how stained the floors were - and ordered new carpet to be put back down.
Now, ten years later, the kids have grown up and flown the coop and we don't have any dogs or cats left (all gone to heaven from old age). It is time to rip those carpets up and attack the stains. If it weren't for your video - I never would have had the nerve. I'll start next week! Thanks so much!

I’m thinking I should stop applying and let it dry to see how it’s doing. Did you ever think about putting a hair dryer to it to expedite the drying? Thanks again! If u reapply it will take longer and u dont want to make it to light so that u have a light spot on ur floor. Take ur time hun it will work. U must walk away and come back later. This took me several hours. I hope this helps babez.

CPR4THEBODY you described it beautifully... It was easy to understand... Immediately I knew that you were "real" and that you genuinely cared and wanted to share the knowledge you had acquired. I tell you that hydrogen peroxide it's good for all kind of things and it is basically a bleach... Or reacts in that manner I should say I don't want the scientist coming after me. I used to perform fluorescein angiograms for the eye and there were times that I had a free bleeder or for whatever reason blood came in contact with their clothes or my scrubs and that's what I would use was hydrogen peroxide to get the blood out.
So add that to your college of knowledge girl... Take care I did subscribe and I will catch you on the flip flop. God bless

I’ve got a couple of black spots on an engineered wood floor, where a plumber spilled some heating system inhibitor. Any idea if this would work on them? Reason for asking is that I think the stain was caused because the inhibitor is very alkaline; so it’s not a damp stain.

Yes, you want to sand to make sure that the spot is as light as your able to get it. Being that you can only sand so low. Then you go ahead and use peroxide. I hope that helps.

Keep in mind if you use hydrogen peroxide and you plan on staining you may need to use a stain controller as the hydrogen peroxide seems to affect how the stain penetrates.

Nowadays, people are painting their floors with Floor Paint and then seal them with polyurethane... that's what I plan to do... not too concerned about the wood grain look... had a tenant that had pets and I'm not paying crazy prices to have them stained "black" just to hide the stains that won't come out. If I paint them, I have more choices with colors and I want gray (not black). Don't even have to sand the floors to paint them, from what I've heard.

None of these videos show before and afters. The moment that stain is wet again it will be black... It is dried out with no remaining stain on it.

I'm confused as to what ur comment is stating. I removed the stains and they are completely gone. Not sure about other videos but these do not go back black when wet. Take a look at my vids when I stained the floor. THIS WORKS AND WORKS WELL!!

Unfortunately this was not from pets. There was carpet in the home previously, before we inherited it. Which is why I'm renovating. Those were spills from the grandchildren. That set in the carpet and ruined the floor. I decided to take on the task to no destroy them or get rid of them but restore them. Have an awesome day. Thank u for watchinf
