Also they said you need to sand off any varnish to get to the wood. I like your idea of using the green abrasive sponge to accomplish that. Also, it is a good idea to not put the peroxide on the non stained areas. For stubborn areas, place saran wrap plastic over the area to stop evaporation. Nice video.

What do you do when you have brite spots after removing the stains ? Do you have to go find a matching restrain or just recoat. The spots with polyurethane ?
It's just not working for me. I've tried on already sanded floor and no movement. Sometimes the stains are too penetrated. I have pet stains and it sucks, because I don't want to stain my floors a dark color. 😭
I'm hoping this works I just ran in to this same stains on my 1930s hardwood floor I'm praying it works bc I've been killing myself for 3 days sanding making everything look great then that bs man I just play it works
Thanks for this tip and well done for your amazing transformation. Do you know how strong hydrogen peroxide you used is? Does it have a percentage number? Thanks!
Great video. I have two questions. How long do you have to wait before staining your floors after using the peroxide method? Also do you have to resand the area that you treated afterwards? Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, we removed stains over night and then we sanded them which blended the area into the other parts of floor and after sanding we wiped floors of all dust with light damp towels let dry about hr then stained them. I hope this helps. Im texting fast out on family date night.
Yes, you want to sand to make sure that the spot is as light as your able to get it. Being that you can only sand so low. Then you go ahead and use peroxide. I hope that helps.
I apologize for the delay in my response! It is regular peroxide found at Walmart for 88cent! tfw If u have any more questions feel free to send another comment!
Keep in mind if you use hydrogen peroxide and you plan on staining you may need to use a stain controller as the hydrogen peroxide seems to affect how the stain penetrates.

Nowadays, people are painting their floors with Floor Paint and then seal them with polyurethane... that's what I plan to do... not too concerned about the wood grain look... had a tenant that had pets and I'm not paying crazy prices to have them stained "black" just to hide the stains that won't come out. If I paint them, I have more choices with colors and I want gray (not black). Don't even have to sand the floors to paint them, from what I've heard.

I'm confused as to what ur comment is stating. I removed the stains and they are completely gone. Not sure about other videos but these do not go back black when wet. Take a look at my vids when I stained the floor. THIS WORKS AND WORKS WELL!!
Unfortunately this was not from pets. There was carpet in the home previously, before we inherited it. Which is why I'm renovating. Those were spills from the grandchildren. That set in the carpet and ruined the floor. I decided to take on the task to no destroy them or get rid of them but restore them. Have an awesome day. Thank u for watchinf

@@kinyaalexander7252 I would try it. I do not think it will harm it. Did the degreaser lighten ur floor or darken?
@@CPR4THEBODYlivingaenrichedlife it darken the floor.
I’m gonna try it on my wood counter. Thank you!
Yes and ols let me kno how it works for ya. Yw
Your floors are beautiful thank you !
Thank you so much! You are absolutely welcome. Did u see how they looked after I added waterbase poly?
Amazing!! Your floors look so good! How long does it take to dry, before you put the polyurethane down?
Thank u so much!! I waited like abt 3 days. Tfw. Pls share the video.
Thank you, I will! This is such a helpful video! 😚
💪🏾
Thanks for the tip! Also - do you know what color of blue that wall is? I really like it. Thx
Thank u. Let me go see if I can find the video when I painted it.

It may be in the video
This is great I am going to do this for the dog dribbles on the floor
Thank u. Pls let me know how it works out for you. Have a great night and coming week.
I believe ur gonna be happy once u use this method! As u can see we had multiple stains.
I hope so lol so much work
Not really it seems longer because im recording the process
I meant the work I'm doin all the sanding my floor was really bad with unevenness so I'm haven't to take it way done
sleeper10s oh gotcha! U will not have a lot of work with this method.
Thanks for this tip and well done for your amazing transformation. Do you know how strong hydrogen peroxide you used is? Does it have a percentage number? Thanks!
You are so welcome. I love how well it worked out. It was the regular bottle from Walmart. I believe its 3%. Let me know how it works for u Tfw
3% I believe
Yup that what I told him.
you did an amazing job... well done.
Thank u so much! Tfw
Did you sand/strip your floors first?
I notice the stains more when I was standing so yes,but u do not have to do that.
It looks like you sanded first?
Yes, you want to sand to make sure that the spot is as light as your able to get it. Being that you can only sand so low. Then you go ahead and use peroxide. I hope that helps.
Does it clean wood finsh of floors
Im not exactly sure of what ur asking?
Will it not dry the floor tiles? Just curious
No
Hi can any one tell me where I can buy peroxide from please? Also is it called peroxide for wooden floors or just peroxide? Thanks
I apologize for the delay in my response! It is regular peroxide found at Walmart for 88cent! tfw If u have any more questions feel free to send another comment!
ANY drug store - CVS , Walgreens , etc. Wal Mart , Home Depot ... a VERY common liquid.
Can u tell us how to remove dark stains and paint for wood I used to cover dark spots.
Im not understanding the actual question?
Keep in mind if you use hydrogen peroxide and you plan on staining you may need to use a stain controller as the hydrogen peroxide seems to affect how the stain penetrates.
Nope didn't affect a thing! Thanks for watching
@@CPR4THEBODYlivingaenrichedlife It did mine.
@@gary24752 oh sorry to hear that. I had no issues.
That came out great...good job

Nowadays, people are painting their floors with Floor Paint and then seal them with polyurethane... that's what I plan to do... not too concerned about the wood grain look... had a tenant that had pets and I'm not paying crazy prices to have them stained "black" just to hide the stains that won't come out. If I paint them, I have more choices with colors and I want gray (not black). Don't even have to sand the floors to paint them, from what I've heard.
My desk has weird pink splotches from some stickers my sister out there when we were little and I’m going to try this out and see what happens!
Oh ok, pls let me know how it works.
The stain looks great, but what about the odor? Was this cat urine?
No pets at all. Just years of spills that were not cleaned properly
you're a life saver! thank you for this. so effective

How many times did you have to go over each spot to get rid of i t completely?
Rosa De La Paz I went over 2x but the very dark area no mpre than 4. I hope this help. Have a awesome week .
Show us ur finished floors please
Jeannette Grondin This was to share how to remove stains. I did show how the floors turned out after removing the stains.
CPR4THEBODY i mean completely finished hun
I have another video here it is! ruclips.net/video/quu9Gv1kIvI/видео.html
CPR4THEBODY ty so much
I wanted to know how to remove blood. . .
Have u tried this. It should work as well.
None of these videos show before and afters. The moment that stain is wet again it will be black... It is dried out with no remaining stain on it.
I'm confused as to what ur comment is stating. I removed the stains and they are completely gone. Not sure about other videos but these do not go back black when wet. Take a look at my vids when I stained the floor. THIS WORKS AND WORKS WELL!!
It looks like you sanded the floors first? Did you? I didn't want to do that, at my age. sigh.
Yes I did. It allows it to penitrate natural wood
If u just had sand it to get the finish off that will be fine

I can't find any here in the U.K. plz help thanks
Yaz M there isnt any hydrogen peroxide anywhere in UK?
CPR4THEBODY no where can I purchase it from
Yaz M u may have to order it online.
CPR4THEBODY yeh I've been searching for it. Can I use peroxide bleach? I found this online
Im not sure about the Peroxide bleach. Undo kno that tge method is bleaching the floor so it may work as well.
And this is why I don't have a dog, My floors can't take it lol. looks like they used your whole floor like it was the back yard .
Wear gloves people
I guess you did not have people with low back pain in mind.
R? Add knees to that, but if this works I'll figure out a way, lol. Sure can't afford to hire it done.
THANK YOU!
