Here is the process of grooming my miniature schnauzer at home by myself. It’s not the easiest and he isn’t thrilled either but we get it done! Enjoy watching!
Hey how long will it take for the hair to grow back? The groomer shaved my schnauzer all the way through and I’m really worried about how long it’ll take for him to look normal again
Uh oh! Haha. It takes about 6 weeks for the hair to fully be back to normal “scruffiness” but in a couple of weeks the awkwardness of a new haircut should look a little more “normal”.
Congrats!! They’re awesome dogs! I feed Winston about 1 cup of food a day. Sometimes it’s upwards of 2 cups depending on how much exercise he gets in a day. He’s mostly indoors all day so 1 cup keeps his body nice and fit looking. 😊 Don’t want a schnauzer to get too chunky.
Did you turn off the comments in the horse lemon video because you couldn't take the number of people criticizing your choice to film the horse's neck instead of its face during its reaction to the lemon? If so, I encourage you to reconsider. Your decision not to film the horse's face was a controversial one, no doubt, but a bold one. I invite you to own your aesthetic choices no matter how reviled they might be in the public's eyes.
@@e.salinas6553 Schnauzers tend to have very sensitive skin. Your pup could have a bit of a heat rash from the clippers or a hint of what’s equivalent to us having “razor burn” from going from long hair to super short hair very quickly. The redness should go away soon.
Our groomer needed to shave my mini schnauzer (10 months old) due to matting :( I hate the look, but I know that mats can be really uncomfortable and potentially harmful. I can't wait until her coat grows back though!!
Woo hoo!! Schnauzer people! ❤

I cut my mini schnauzer like this yesterday I felt bad cuz his fur was starting to mat & so I wasn’t able to do the standard cut🙃
Nice! Better to just get rid of it all 😉. It doesn’t have to be fancy.
@@wildhomestead9637 thanks I noticed he’s red is that from the matted hair gone u think or the clippers? Clippers were new..
