So many people miss the fact Ichigos father is Ganju and Kūkaku Shibas uncle and cousins to Ichigo. It was a big bomb in this episode that people miss sadly.
I wonder if they didn't show that scene back in the day because Kukaku's wiki page still just says unnamed uncle instead of Isshin. It clearly looked like a young Isshin though so it's either him or he has an unknown brother that died long ago.

You're not losing your mind, Ginjo definitely died... but Soul Society is basically a Purgatory, a sort of waystation on the road to reincarnation, so it does follow that the Fullbringers who died back then would eventually end up there.
But still gonna die when something happen in Soul Society 🤣🤣, btw what happen for regular citizen that die in Soul Society? Where their soul's going to?
Especially if they were slain by soul reapers. Its kinda their job to send souls to soul society.

They blocking Grimmjow during the call somehow felt more relevant now compared with back then in the manga, with how much zoom call we've been doing, and being panicked when an unwanted interruption happened in the background lol.
It also feels like what his type of character would do. Kenpachi and Grimmjow are the types of characters who butt in at the most inappropriate moments to force rematches with Ichigo, which always have a comedic anti-climax for them. Grimmjow would have definitely hijacked the call to talk to Ichigo if he'd been given the chance.

Junichi Suwabe...his voice is so unique and has changed very little in almost 10 years ! He just have some of the best voice to do : Aizawa, Sukuna, Captain Yami, Greed, Akira in Food war...Grimmjow is really the voice he just goes crazy and it's amazing !! Your gonna love his new clothes design :P
Suwabe is amazing. He's one of the few voice actors that I can recognize within a few seconds. I LOVE his voice!

Not only does it give a reasonable excuse as to why they hadn't shown up yet, but it also just shows how much on a different level they all are. I can't wait to see how the 0 Squad is going to be handled!

Remember Soul Society's ''Bankai'' episode? This is like that one
The anime actually cut out quite a bit of useful information in the conversation ichigo was having with mayuri. Mayuri explains more about broken bankai's especially regarding ikkaku, renji and komamura. Here's what Mayuri said
"Naturally there are exceptions. Komamura Sajin's bankai, Kokujou Tengen Myouou has an extremely powerful bond with its wielder. As a result, any damage to the bankai is reflected as wounds on the user's body. A great disadvantage. However, in return once the user's wounds are healed, the bankai itself is also restored. But this is the only exception I have thus far found. As for the bankai of Madarame Ikkaku, which was destroyed during his battle with Adrad Liones it seems that Akon was able to forcibly restore it original shape but is possess but a fraction of it's original power."
Then Ichigo asks about Renji's bankai
"I heard his bankai was destroyed in his battle with byuakuya?"
To which Mayuri responds
"Have you ever counted the individual sections of his bankai form? Those sections of Hihiou Zabimaru that were destroyed by Kuckiki Byakuya remain destroyed to this day"
I was annoyed that was cut out. Legit super important. Rather have that than kon running by in the background in mayuri's lab

After all the serious episodes so far, this one really was "Classic Bleach". It felt like it had all the old jokes with a touch of class and style, to maintain the serious atmosphere, and god damn was everyone here for this one
Giriko, Ginjo and Tsukishima were all killed by a zampakutou so they were sent to the Soul Society like usual
So "Kurosaki" is the surname Ichigo got from his mum. Isshin, his dad is from a noble Shiba family in soul society. So essentially, Ganju, Kukaku and even Kaien(9th espade/ex squad 13 captain) are cousins of Ichigo. That was why Kaien looks literally like Ichigo with black hair lol.
Urahara was hiding Grimmjow because they were live streaming in front of other captains 😄

They're most likely hiding Grimmjow cause he was an aide of Aizen ( even though he didn't want to ), if the other Soul Reapers saw him there'd be some problems, since Urahara, an important soul reaper to them is suddenly associating himself with an 'aide of Aizen', and will lead to random misconceptions.

When a living person or a hallow is slain by a Zanpakuto their souls are purified and sent to the seireitei. I think they explain that in some of the first few episodes of bleach. Although souls after death and after being sent to soul society tend to forget their lives in the human realm, although it seems they can remember things important to them such as people. So since the Full Bringers were killed with Zanpakuto's their souls were purified and sent to soul society. You were right, they were killed.

One thing I always loved about Bleach was how smart it was. Beating the Espada was more about being clever then overpowering them. They were the equals of the Captains. Would be nice to see it getting back to that, rather then just give everyone a huge power boost.

The reason ginjo is there because, ichigo asked them to bury him in the human world, rather than disposing of him completely in the soul society.
