- People tend to assume that Singaporean actors are only successful when they've made it to Hollywood. Yet veteran actress Tan Kheng Hua from Crazy Rich Asians begs to differ. Joining her in this episode of "Sip Back with Sonia" is her daughter Shi-An, who is also an actress in her own right, talks about being labelled 'nepo baby' and the power of social media as an actor in Singapore.
Thank you Hock Tong Huat for sponsoring the drinks on Sip Back with Sonia!

there’s so much love pouring out of mama’s eyes whenever she looks at her darling girl
Both of them are so well-spoken. Love kheng hua's passion and love for her daughter
The way Kheng hua looks at Shi an is pure love.
Both are friends too, what a lovely bond!
I love how kheng hua looks at her daughter when she talks.
kheng looks so proud of shi an the whole time XD
I wish I were that close to my parents. We have never spoken for 15 years and counting
Such a beautiful mother and daughter relationship❤❤❤ both radiating inside and out
A little Easter egg I found in the 3rd rail:
Shi An's character's dad phone has a picture of Kheng Hua as lock screen.
Shi an is so eloquent and wise indeed raised by a queen 🎉
Genuine Feedback I think there's a reason why shows like the daily show use "clap"/"cheer" cue cards. Every time the host asks the audience to clap it feels so forced. Like the audience is reluctant to be there instead of having a good time.

Whats the point of having an audience? there is absolutely NO audience interaction and NO chemistry at all between the host and audience. Pointless and really cringey!
